In brutally hot weather a long full skirted dress is actually cooler than jeans, shorts , or even dress pants. Plus covered legs means you can skip pantyhose.

I would love to know where I can find that skirt you’re wearing!! It’s so beautiful!!
I have realized recently that other women can wear off-the-shoulder shirts/dress and not look like sexual or provocative but the Holy Spirit has been showing me that those are not for me.
I have been really leaning into femininity because of where our society is at right now. So glad I stumbled across your channel!!

Oh gosh modest dressing hallelujah!!! Very refreshing 👏🏾👌🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I love maxi dressers. My fave was the first one and the polka dot!!!! Gorgeous 🤩❤️👌🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥I love some smock dresses but prefer a more tailored fit for me personally
Thanks for sharing sis loving your hair also stay blessed 😇 . I don’t like tops that are too plunging so all my chest is out I look for tops and dresses that are more covered. Which is sometimes hard so end up wearing a vest underneath. 🙏🏾😍

The cha cha cha dress is my favorite. As someone who isn't shopping for modesty in particular, but for something that would be flattering to my shape, I like the cinching at the waist and that there's not too much fabric up top.

When picking modest clothing I Iook for an A frame because I have broad shoulders and hips but my waist is small. The A frame gives me shape but not in a showy way.

The white/cream smocking dress - I brought something similar and had to return it too - the open back wasn’t doing it for me. Since my modesty journey God has shown me not to expose my back like that too.

I tend to look for tops that are swoop neck (instead of v-neck) and turtle necks. I like dresses, too. I work from home so it’s easy to throw on a dress and have my outfit be complete without much thought or effort.

I'm an older adult and my preference is to have three quarter sleeves and my back and front covered, I'm also a heavy set person and don't like tight fitting clothes. The dresses you chose are beautiful and I would consider them modest dresses. I personally like the polka dot dress and the first dress, but they are all beautiful.

Love the purple floral. Glad you pointed out that if you like a dress or skirt but it has some immodest areas, they can often be remedied. Such as what you have done with wearing something under it to bring up the too deep cut of the v neck. As for the slit, that can also be remedied your self. It is easy to hand stitch the slit together. It doesn't take long at all. I often will wear some kind of sweater (very thin and light weight if it is summer) over a dress or top if I don't really like the sleeve length or arm holes are to big and open for me, or if I feel it is a little too tight or too thin.

Loved the dresses! My modesty standards: skirts or dresses, knee length or longer, not tight, no low necklines or cleavage. I do wear short sleeves, some cap sleeves, and occassionally sleeveless but with full shoulders (not spaghetti straps or racer backs).

BTW you look incredible in every dress I've seen you in... amazingly beautiful and completely modest - I know it's possible to be both but you take it to whole new levels.

I love your videos. I go for a midi to a maxi style of dress or a wrap dress or a fit and flare and A-lines. They look really nice on me and if a dress is too low cut I like to wear a sports bra under it to make it more modest, and if it is see-through I like to wear a slip under it.

Tops that do not show cleavage and are not too form fitting. Skirts that are at the knee or below. I avoid sweater dresses, Sheath dresses, or any dresses that are too form fitting. I am fine with pants and a modest top or sweater. On me this tends to be very modest, often even more so than a dress or skirt. I wear dresses or skirts almost all spring and summer and wear more pants in the winter just because of comfort.

What do I tend to look for when picking modest clothing?
Attending church services: I'd look for something knee-length or longer (like a midi dress), flowing since I am not a fan of bodycon at all, long sleeved or elbow length (also not a fan of cat/cap sleeves) however if there's a sleeveless dress I like I wear a baleira with it and I look for dresses that fit right on my collar bone (I have a mole about two inches after my collar bone so i use for a reference in terms of height for collars, if I can see the mole then it's a no-no) and I tend to look for something that fits my waist then billows out (not a fan of waist bands sitting directly under the bust area)
Going out: I usually wear pants not jeans because they are not my style especially distressed jeans (looks very tacky to me), long sleeved shirts or elbow length once again, I don't wear dresses out because I feel very uncomfortable (nt even beach dresses) and I am also not a fan of skirts either.

I feel like that first dress could pair nicely with a cropped 3/4 Sleeve Layering Shell, for those of us who love that dress, but don't want to show our upper arms.
I really love your idea on adding a draw string to that last garment to make it be as fitted as you are modestly comfortable with.
For me, the guidelines of modesty are, that my sleeves should come down to at least right above the elbows, but ultimately, I would want my elbows covered. I also would want my collar bone covered, not too tight, and definitely my knees covered.
I spent half of my high school years in NY and the other half in CA, and my Mom bought me a modest button down shirt that I wore to school (I had it buttoned modestly). I am short, 4' 10", but my bust at the time was 36B. I wore a size 5 pants. So there I was, wearing this white button down shirt, and the buttons malfunctioned and popped open. Unbeknownst to me, I was walking around with my bra showing for like... idk... half of the way to my locker before I realized that people were staring at me and pointing and laughing. To further the embarrassment, I had PCOS, which caused me to have chest hair, and I know I don't even need to explain how mortified I was. To this day, I can not safely wear button down shirts, as I am in a 36C. If I do, I feel like I'm in a tent.

I really hate showing my back. Idk why, it just makes me feel naked

I'm ab100% tank top girl lol I hate that I sweat in sleeves and my shoulders are apparently HUGE for my upper body size so tanks work a bit better. I do like the front closure (and I could possibly breast feed in it)

@@Bindi_Marc amen!! I wondered 💗💗💗 I actually think that's why I followed you was for modest clothing and style... It's possible I followed for hair though...either way it's been a while since I'd seen a video pop up.
