Italy's 'oldest' player in the starting six is Sbertoli (26 years old). It was good to see the Porro's brothers playing together. We just need few more years for the third brother to join them. It was good to see Bieniek and Leon back. I feel bad for those who will be left out of the Olympics roster because Poland has so many good interchangeable players, they could all play in the starting six. Crazy that one between Leon, Sliwka, Fornal, Semeniuk and Bednorz will not make it.
What are your your thoughts on semenuik will he make the roaster for Olympics?
@@a.v.svamsi9987 He had an amazing season in Perugia but I don't know if Grbic likes him. It's between him and Fornal. I think Leon, Sliwka and Bednorz are locked.
@@RockAddicted7 I'm pretty sure Semeniuk is locked, Gribić likes him a lot and gave him a lot of time last season to rebuild after Perugia downfall in 2023. Śliwka, Leon, Semeniuk and Fornal are locked imo, Bednorz is going to be "13th" player

So sad that I got the subscription to VBTV to watch all the matches, but then mi job got so messy and haven't got any time left, so I'm back watching the highlights again

The subscription isn't only there to watch the games live, you can do that through other ways too, the subscription mainly serves those who wanna watch all the games in their entire length, since you can rewatch them at all times, pause them etc. It's on yourself to not spoil the results of the matches before watching tbh.
Also it's 32 Games per week broski, if we expect those 32 videos to be around 1,5 hours minimum and up to 2,5 hours (5 Set games) that's 48 to 80 hours per week. It's unreasonable to think you could watch everything in a week, don't set impossible goals for yourself so you don't feel frustrated when not achieving said goal.
Watch your priority teams first, then slowly work your way through the rest of the highlight games, just a tip on how I watched every single game of VNL in full length for the last 3 years multiple times.

Good job guys. Poland with Leon is very strong. My country Slovenija beat him 3 veeks ago but Leon not play. Gretings from Slovenija. Slovenija and Poland play very hard game past 6 years. Semifinal 2 Times and they stoped us with 3 to 2. But we for 3 place beat France with the best team. 🔥🇸🇮

Half of your players play in our league in avarage teams but somehow players like your opposite Stern have like 100% attack efficiency against Poland when in Polish league he's like a mid in a mid team. Congrats but please stop the voodoo magic
Also we played with Łomacz as setter who iis like the worst setter in our league but somehow Grbić likes to torture us with him in our national team.

Wczoraj w studio przedmeczowym z Włochami mówi o jakims meczu towarzyskim, jaki Polki mają zagrać z Serbkami po VNL'u, jeśli dobrze pamiętam. Ktoś wie coś więcej, kiedy, gdzie, o której i czy będzie transmisja?
Empty arena on two world champions...This is a sad reality of a volleyball popularity and management.
It's because it's the last week of the group phase. Those 2 teams qualified to the finals before the game. Italy rather won't loose their second position (Poland has too much advantage over other nations) in the world ranking that will be important during Olympics group selection. Slovenian men team have performed well in this edition of VNL but the country is too small to attract significant number of spectators when the national team don't play.
This situation repeats all over the world- especially in countries where are organised a lot of top competitions .
If these both team played in the Philippines, for sure, it would be a jam packed!
@@ruelvillegas7229 After 5-10 -20-40 years , when there would be regulary organised top voll events, then the interest would be similar as in other countries.. Example - Japan has organised at least two top events since 1964.... Others - Brasil, Poland, Italy etc. Moreover your country (Phillippines) has to be good in this sport to compete with the best NTs.

Popiwczak is very good. I think Zatorski too good. I mean they have the same "level" but in other things. I dont know what literally Grbic think, but I find it Zatorski is better for representation built. Im not sure. I would rather trusted Grbic, I think he knows what he do

Avevo sentito un'intervista di De Giorgi durante la prima settimana e affermava di voler provare a vincere questa VNL, oltre che a raggiungere l'obiettivo primario, già raggiunto.
Se non ha cambiato idea o se le sue non erano dichiarazioni di circostanza, dubito che vada a giocare le final eights con questi giocatori.
Ci può anche stare, questa settimana era l ideale per fare riposare la squadra.... con Bulgaria e Turchia si vince comunque e si perde tranquillamente contro Polonia e Slovenia e tutti fanno esperienza...
Con Turchia ci sarà da sudarsela ovviamente ma credo che la si può spuntare .... e in caso comunque non cambia molto

Before Darlan there are some betters spikers than him...Darlan is the last trend,not the real top spiker or service speed.For instances (cuban Miguel A Lopez, is better in my opinion,high of 1m.90 has a 136km/hr service and his spike is 372cm,while Darlan spike is 363 cm with a high of 1m.93 )

DeGiorgi should have used Rinaldi who proved to be a good option for Lavia & Michieletto, a really consistent player. I guess the coach will choose the nepo baby Recini who always get blocked anyway.

Rinaldi is not good in reception. He could've played consistently in the starting six of any 'mid' team in Superlega but he chose to stay in the bench of a top team like Modena. Luca Porro, in his first year of Superlega, played consistently with Padova and now he is going to the Olympics. Rinaldi is good but he didn't improve much in the last two years. He will compete with Gardini and Sani for a spot in the national team next year...
Italia ya puso en su alineación a Gabriele Laurenzano, el mejor líbero del Men's U21 World Championship y por fin veo que está Luca Porro 02:23 ese chico tiene una excelente técnica de juego 06:09 y más efectividad en los ataques 08:05, 09:59 en comparación con Bovolenta.
Bravo por Italia que se está preocupando por el futuro de su selección, pero deberían convocar a Mattia Orioli, Federico Roberti y a Riccardo Iervolino.
They need more experience (play at least one year in Superlega consistently - except for Bovolenta because other opposites, like Tommaso Stefani, were injured). Mattia Orioli is going to play in Padova next year. If he plays well I bet he will be called next year (just like Luca Porro this year).

Y en este partido contra Polonia Luca Porro sigue siendo efectivo creo que es el mejor jugador de su generación incluyendo a Bovolenta

Well done young Italian team. Although you didn't win a set you had a chance to face a very strong team that won thanks to their skills and experience. Only very few national teams have so many talented. Although Poland won their made too many unforced error in the first set. The reception needs to be improved before the Olympics. It's good to see Leon, Bieniek and Zatorski again in the team.

i’m sure they’re using their B team to rest the main starters for either the end of the vnl or to prepare and rest for the olympics, and this is good pratice for the youngsters of italy to get used to this high level of volleyball

dai mo’, culo a fette no! abbiamo giocato coi teenagers contro la squadra titolare della polonia e ce la siamo cavata. ovviamente contro leon e company non è abbastanza, ma tutto sommato risultato soddisfacente
D'altronde, ci possiamo girare intorno quanto vogliamo: non sono riserve, non è la squadra B, tutti sono allo stesso livello e bla bla bla, però quando ci sono quelli che non c'erano in questa gara è tutt'altra cosa e si vede.

Bisogna tornare allo spirito della vnl che ci raccontavamo: provare, sperimentare ecc 🙄...per dire: oggi ai quarti femminili, hai visto come la Cina ha deciso di "suicidarsi" contro il Giappone titolare(quasi), pur di coltivare gli esperimenti sulle giovani? Se non ho capito male, eh! In fondo siam qualificati, essia, proviamo...almeno con i poveri Bulgari è andata di lusso (san Bottolo grazie!)😂
@@fabioarcuti Non ricordo se ne avessimo già parlato, comunque rimango della mia opinione che questo tipo di esperienze, dove si mette in campo una squadra totalmente composta di giovani cambiando in toto, siano abbastanza inutili. I più giovani sarebbe meglio facessero esperienza giocando, alcuni alla volta e un po' alla volta, accanto a giocatori esperti e forti.
