@@artparapani2625 It depends on current form of each national team. Each team from the top can win with the other teams from the top. In my opinion the top teams in mens volleyball which are at about the same level are Poland, Italy, USA + France, Serbia, Slovenia. I don't know the current form of Brasil, Argentina and Russia but maybe they are as strong too.
I think Poland is the Favorite to win olympic gold medal next year. What a team. Full of great players with a great coach. Congratulations. My respect from Brazil.

Olympic gold is the only thing we're missing right now, looking at let's say a few years back. World Cup? Check (twice). Euro Cup? Check. Nations league? Check.
Just the Olympic is a holy grail we're missing to het everything we can.

When Poland won VNL in Poland, there was a lot of chatter saying “polish fans are obnoxious”, “Poland only won bevause of the crowd”.
Well, they just won against Italy, in Italy - and you don’t hear any polish fans complaining about the booing and noise! It’s part of the game!!!

That's exactly what I've been thinking lately. There were voices saying that the sportsmanship in Poland was poor during the VNL this year, but it's exactly like that almost everywhere in the world. You obviously want your team to win no matter what so there are always a lot of people booing as it was shown during the saturday's final. It's a part of the game whether you like it or not. After the game it all goes back to normal, and I have to admit the Italian fans were great after all! Looking forward to seeing more matches between Poland and Italy in the future.
I'm not agreed with this...polen is the best team for the moment ..but that noise and yelling during the service of their opponent its awful and respectless and they don't need this to win ..

Jako Polak powiem tylko że to buczenie i gwizdy też mi się nie podobają jednak włoscy kibice robili to samo, myślę że w siatkówce to poprosi element wspierania swojej drużyny z jakąś tradycją i większość osób nawet nie myśli że to robi w jednym meczu piłki nożnej z Albanią albańscy kibole gwizdali i buczeli podczas odgrywania hymnu myślę że to jest ta cienka granica której nie powinno się przekraczać jeżeli w stronę przeciwnej drużyny nie będą leciały race to można tę gwizdy przyjąć

About Italy, that's different thing, everyone knows Volleyball Serie A is the best league in the world. And in Poland support for volleyball is small, maybe it will change now but everyone j*rks off to football to the point they are blind on our talents in different discipline. Iga Swiatek nr 1 WTA for 2 years? Gets maybe an article if she reaches final and we almost give NOTHING to the coachees stuff and Iga herself, she gets it by winning. Now she is in the pit that Poland dug under her but A LOT of tennis players wish to be nr 2 (atm) and get off of US open at 1/8. She won $5m+ yet still nobody cares. It's sad, it's same with volleyball, basketball you name it. We're good at truck, jumping etc. but they are understaffed and coaches paid like $30k annually. How can someone guide these people if he has to worry if he will be able to rent. All of this infuriating, if we get all this with understaffed underpaid staff how would we perform with professional guidance. Iga would wrk on serving 100 times by now, now idk if she has training units.

After watching the match between Italy and France. I expected Italy to win against Poland. Especially since Poland's previous matches with Slovenia and Serbia were much more demanding. They fully deserved the gold medal.
Serbia and especially Slovenia are for Poland very much "uncomfortable" teams to play since ever. Much easier is to play with any other even those higher ranked.

It was similar to VNL. USA destroyed Italy in the semis and everyone expected them to take gold, but Poland played their best match of the tournament in the final. Same case here. Incredible ability to play their best when it matters most.

I cannot imagine the PRESSURE you're under here in a match like this. it seems that Poland was always a bit ahead, but italy refused to lose and continued to give our guys an extremely hard time 'till the very end. One mistake here and you may "go under" and do not recover anymore. PS. ❤PL
Włosi są moim zdaniem mega mega mega przereklamowaną reprezentacją. Bez dwóch zdań mają utalentowaną młodzież na lata ale ostatnimi czasy przedstawiało się ich jako kogoś absolutnie nietykalnego a tacy nie są. Przecież oni praktycznie nie mają wartościowej ławki, orają już kolejny turniej trójką Lavia/Michelletto/Romano. Ten ostatni dwa lata temu był przeciętniakiem. Do tego Gianelli który z jakiegoś powodu jest nietykalny przez De Giorgiego mimo swojej wielokrotnie słabszej postawy w trakcie meczu, a na ławce akurat mają bardzo dobrego sypacza- Sbertoli. Uważam że na ten moment prym na świecie wiodą dwie reprezentację- Polski i Stanów Zjednoczonych. W kolejnym szeregu idą Włochy, Brazylia a w dalszym szeregu Francja, Serbia, Japonia, Słowenia.
Myślę że na to przereklamowanie miał wpływ fakt, że zdobyli mistrzostwo świata i Europy będąc tak młodą drużyną. Faktycznie w porównaniu z naszą reprezentacją ich ławka wypada bardzo bardzo marnie

Dzien przed finałem mś rok temu, w półfinale Polska w morderczym boju polonała Brazylie 3:2, a Włochy gładko odprawiły Słowenie 3:0. W finale sił starczyło nam tylko na pierwszego seta w ktorym lekko pocisneliamy z Wlochami. Potem nasi zaczeli oddychac rekawami i stad porazka. A nie ze Wlosi byli lepsi. Nie byli. Mieli farta. Ani w tamtym roku ani w tym gdzie juz trzeci mecz przegrali 3:0 pozdrawiam

Polska od lat to samonapędzająca się maszyna, praktycznie co sezon dochodzi ktoś nowy do składu i trzyma poziom. Młodzi patrzą i idą tą drogą i znów rok po roku będziemy mieli nowych bohaterów. Tylko żeby ktoś tego nie spierdolił, tak po polsku...
Jednak olimpijskiego nie ma

@@VoidCosmonautno nie ma, tutaj wydaje mi się że jest jakaś bariera psychiczna, napędzana przez media, tak jak w przypadku piłkarzy grających na Wembley i pierdolenie tydzień przed meczem, że jeszcze nigdy tutaj nie wygraliśmy i piłkarzom wmawia się, że jest to coś nieosiągalnego. Podałem przykład piłkarzy, którzy byli w stanie tam wygrać, nie tych których mamy teraz.

Italian team attitude to the game was wrong and be favorite at home didn't count .
Playing in front of such big home crowd, home fans puts very often pressure on players. Italy has still young team and I suppose they will beneft from such experience in next years. They have already won big tournaments last years - European Championships and World Championships. In this match Poland started very strong and I thing it was important for the rest of the match.
Leon doesn’t deserve MVP, MVP for Śliwka or Huber
