C'est vraiment très beau. Ç est spectaculaire ce que vous pouvez faire avec du blanc et du noir. Beaucoup de maîtrise. Merci beaucoup pour ce joli spectacle.
I really loved this before she torched. It was just gorgeous…. Then right after she torched it looked pretty still but then it just got overtaken by the cells and the size of the cells. Not that it’s not pretty now, I can always appreciate a beautiful black and white piece of art, just saying the background was beautiful and i just personally LOVED it like that and even still loved it with the cells and keeping them small. Added some interest but also left space for the eye to rest. I’d still love to see black white and gold. Ah I love love love gold. 🖤🤍💛🖤🤍💛🖤🤍💛
This was SO educational. So impressive are the results. One day I dream of being inspired to try just that in peacock tail colours and iridescent! Dream dream lol.
A great "primer" if you will for teaching values in pouring. Black and white photography is the same way. Appreciate the lesson immensely Julie. I love your flip cups, as I say, you still are the undisputed Queen of the flip cup! You consistently prove this to me again and again!
Wow that was so amazing when you put the torture to it and I start seeing the cells form. I have never seen that before. It started appearing right before my eyes. That was so awesome to see. Thanks for sharing this i LOVE IT
Hi thankyou for this video demo. You opened my eyes by the way you described the cells & how to move them to get a great effect. I have just done a white & black canvas using mont marte paint mixed with floetrol, I am pleased with what I have done, cheers
I do love watching your videos. Especially these flip cups. I won't use silicone, (personal choice) so I enjoy seeing others use it and produce such pretty art! Nice work, Julie!
Absolutely beautiful!! 💕 It is amazing to me how I can be struggling with my pours, you post a video and immediately I can determine what I need to change! I have scraped two flip cup pours on 16x20 canvases today and now I realize I need to do a flip cup with out the drag to get what I am after! Thank you Julie! You are awesome!
Oh Julie you are the Queen of flip cups and getting gorgeous cells. This piece is just stunning. Thanks for explaining about the 3rd party thing. I struggle purchasing the paints I like that are not available for sale in Australia.
In the nicest way, I'm so jealous at the size of paint you can buy. Here in the UK, we can only get white & black in 2l. Prime colours max 1l, everything else only 500ml or less. Monochrome always seems to work so well. Great piece! Bravo!
Very cool looking. Beware of that torch as I've bought 2 of the exact one's. For some reason they tend to pop an inner spring that leaked out the fluids , then no longer works. At first my 1st one after 1 month use the spring popped , so I figured it was just a bad piece or a lemon. So I bought a second one and the exact same thing happened within 2 weeks. Just giving you heads up . Your fan.
This showed up in my suggested videos tonight for some reason. When your dog barked I actually thought it was my dog and went to see what he was barking at. 🤣
This is such a joy to look at. It reminds me of an antique curtain blowing in the wind. I'm new and wonder if I start this how do I get rid of bubbles. Are they in the paint before you pour? Thanks
Beautiful ❤ I'm in Spain, can't get artist loft, very difficult to get anything, Amsterdam is expensive, floetrol is Owatrol..thankyou for all your information xxx Claire
I love the painting. I am a complete failure in making cells. I've tried dump cups with silicone in the paint, dump cups with no silicone but using a toothpick with silicone for a chameleon look, and everything I see on various videos. If I get any cells they are extremely small. Unfortunately, nothing works for me, even your technique. I've tried various consistencies of paint. I'm using Flotrol and water for my medium. I am ready to give up. I love the black and white color on this canvas.
If you’re concerned about leftover paint (especially if it’s some expensive paint), put down a silicone mat to catch the drips. The resulting ‘skins’ can be peeled off the silicone, and then used to put into resin.
Polka-dot Zebra! 🦓 I love your cells, so pretty. You Clever Creative Lady. Thanks for teaching and sharing your beautiful art. 🤗🌺🎨🌍🍀💖🌞🇺🇸Liz
That is a beautiful black and white Flip Cup Pour. I love the distinct black, white or gray outer rings around the cells.

Thank you, Julie! I sure hope I make it to Australia some day and you are having lessons I can attend. What a treat that would be!
gorgeous Julie .. you giggle tickles me 😂
Lovely 😍
Beautiful 💕
Spot on. I think once you have equal distribution of the paint and then torch will give you a more unified pour. Just a thought
Love this! I might try one with blue and purple added?!
