Gotta say, I really enjoy the Podcasts. I know they likely don't get the clicks the vids get. But, These have definitely come in my rotation for my gym time, as well as when I am pumping out paperwork on the job. Where I am farm country is very limited. Where we have crop it is hay, but I would say 90% corn. Due to it being so limited, and having high bear densities, it is terrible deer hunting. By the time the season comes around it is infested with black bears, pushing the deer out. Good bear hunting though! Once I punch that tag I take to the hills for whitetail. I have learned alot from you guys over the past couple years, but mostly, I enjoy the blend of intelligence, humor, and tactics. Hunting nerds, nerding out!

Great video! Would love to see you continue with farm country scouting, including the use of topo maps to maybe help determine which places would be good to ask permission, vs not.

This is all I ever hunted was farmland in north Indiana. Made the Hoosier record book after 20 years then I got hurt and those days are almost gone. Finally got a handicapped hunting license and hope to get out this year after 12 years of sharing the hospital and the couch. It really sucks watching you guys do what I just started to get good at. Hope for fast healing Jake, you are getting around pretty good. Thanks for all the good times and good luck this year. Not really a fan of podcast but I manage to sneak yours in, just being honest.

Got a Nodak tripped planned in September. It's all Ag terrain which is much different than what I'm used too as in Big Woods in Michigan. Thanks for the great info fellas!

These guys are awesome! You can really learn a lot from these guy’s podcast and hunting videos! Went from seeing very few deer to focusing on main food sources and glassed way more deer! Focused on bean field which are the main food source out here I found out! Spotted 4 younger bucks last night and then seen the biggest buck I’ve ever laid eyes on.. he was a giant 10 pointer! That’ll get you fired up! Thanks THP!

Very helpful information, thank you guys. Definitely can relate to using access points that the deer can easily watch from their bedding! Still find myself doing it sometimes lol

I’m only 3 minutes in and I’m excited to listen on! I live close to where Zach grew up in the flat broken farm county of northwest Ohio. It’s a region that is not very well covered by hunting forums, probably due to the fact that it isn’t a very desirable place to hunt for anyone not already living in the region. Thank you for the content!

Im assuming it was/is Jake that had videos posted of WI gun season and I noticed in a picture reel the town of Conover WI. To the point I’d like to hear any input you guys have on hunting areas like way Northern WI where there are just a ton of lakes and mostly thick big woods.
