Def gonna try this out, I'm coming back to GW2 after a break and my axe/pistol/torch doesn't seem to be viable anymore. This rotation reminds me of playing my Jedi & Sith characters in SWTOR!

Damn - i was just about geared for Virtuoso from your previous vid - now im back to grinding / crafting “all Vipers” build because this gameplay looks so fun
You can do it pretty quickly with just doing easy daily grinds + bladed chest gesr grinds

Great guide! Would anything still be viable after the latest patch notes dropped? Looks like Mirage got some nerfs, especially with alac.
You can do everything the same way. The staff build is affected, so that depending on the encounter you might want to change the utility item or use some ritualist gear for boon duration, but that's about it.
Damage was entirely unaffected

I don’t quite understand at what point in the rotation you need to use jaunt?
can i use carion mixed with viper?
A question if I may, when using dual staffs why have Duelist's Discipline?
On double staff, it's supposed to be phantasmal fury instead :)
Have you done an Open World Tier List? Would love to see one!
People always want to see tierlists, but aside form entertainment, I don't see much value in them.
You can't break down open world builds into a single tier list because open world consists of too any different modes.
So tier lists are often misleading and unfortunately affect the choices players make more than they should.
Nice gameplay
I wish there are good easy Chrono build, I really like clone/phantom summon playstyle but goddamn it barely has any sustain without sacrifice huge chunk of dmg, not to mention very hard to master. Worst, it barely has any condi support so stuck with pure power dps or quickness/alacrity.
What do u mean by the 2 staves at 11:30 ? Im new to this stuff and this is the only confusing part
It's just another word for Staff, he's referring to the dual staff alacrity (which essentially means skill recharge time, cool down, however you want to word it)

Because this is not viable anymore. Mirage has only seen nerfes since the last few patches.

I've been watching many mesmer videos lately and not one has been wielding a scepter. I was hoping to see a build with it. 🥲
It's not used because it is pretty bad in all regards. No boons, low damage... there's just no real reason to use it
@@MaselMMO aaah scepter. The sit and wait weapon.
It is used in support chrono in WVW zergs though
@@stevenyager819 Scepter is a clone-generating machine but has very little damage. This makes it useful in pvp/wvw settings where the misdirect is more useful, but due to its lack of offensive/supporting value it's entirely useless in pve environments.
