your work captivates me it is so good. How do you prevent the dust from the dark colors of the hair to not fall on the light colors of the face. I pound on the back to loosen it but it still leaves a slight mist and changes the skin tone. Please continue, I watch these over and over just to learn, than you

Hi Garciela! I really love to watch your videos! I've just started to draw portraits myself, but still need to practice some more! Wich colours do you use for the skinn? I like the way you create depth with those different colours.
    Greatings, Romy

    Chi,
    Some answers..
-CarbOthello is fine. I use it a lot...fine lines and previous drawing.
You can also use Pitt pastel from Faber, same purposes.
-Actually I use only Canson but I love to work on velum from Hahnemuhle..Which is a completely different story. I've tried sand paper but never explore it well. It must be very interesting.
-What you see on my videos is my method to work.
-Im still working on making my tutorials.....(I'm not ready yet..)
    -You can email me privately.
    Regards, Bogra

Nice to meet you ! I have a question for you ! I'd like to know what kind of White pastel do you use ? it's an oil pastel ? I love the precious light effect for the eyes and for light spot ! Thank you for your help and congratulation for your big art! Thank you !

      Anna,
You can use different brands..I personally like to use Schminke pastels..But it's my personal choice..Rembrandt is also good. I use soft pastels…Not oil pastel. Thank you for your comments!! Regards, Bogra

Could you tell us, also? I'm starting to have those problems, too. I've been using Stabilo CarbOthello pastel pencils- but does it really matter what brand I use? Do you only use Canson paper or do you use other papers? Have you used Wallis sanded pastel paper? Do you follow the same "outline" or way but you tweek it for each client? Do you give lessons or video tutorials? Can I email you privately? Thank you for your help. Sorry so many questions. :O)

    Dear Romy,

just feel free to use your colors and don't be afraid to mix your colors. take a look on my channel banner..there are the colors I use the most..
    Best regards.
