If my undergraduation is from a non accredited country (india) while my masters in Pediatric dentistry is from Dubai. Should I go through AFK or DSCKE process , should I aim to become a General dentist or specialist ? What would be your advice ?.
    Thank you in advance

@28:00 why is it beneficial when one has done AFK and acj to take dscke?
I mean the study material for both is different right?
The afk/acj is gp level studies, all the dentistry basic n clinical sciences but dscke is the speciality based exam? Then how comes doing acj and AFK would benefit for preparation of dscke?

      Hi Momina,
From what we understand the DSCKE exams are not actually asking about the specialty, they can still ask many GP related questions.

I noticed there’s no ortho questions in the blueprint?

    • @ScholarsDental

That is true, however study it in case so that you are prepared.

and if I have more than one specialty, can I take just one DSCKE, and get my licence for those in the same time? Or I need to take the exames separately?

So if my undergraduate degree for GP is from a non accredited country (Egypt) and I applied for masters in orthodontics in canada.. after finishing masters will I be eligible then to do the NDSE board exam and then gain licensure right away?

      Hi Joe,
Thanks for watching the video. We think so, you can practice only in your specialty, but it is very competitive and most likely you won't get in. You would need to reconfirm this.

@@ScholarsDental is it difficult because it is competitive generally speaking or because you think I am a foreigner? I am a Canadian citizen btw
