The OP is saying that Ashtyn gave off all the body language and facial signs that would suggest that she is very uncomfortable in the situation while sitting beside her husband, while they're watching a comedian speak nothing but truth, those are warning signs in her behaviour which would suggest that what Bill Burr is saying also applies to her, and she knows it, and what makes it worse is that John married her, so he has a lot on his plate now, this is why her behaviour screams discomfort, a psychologist or psychiatrist or body language expert would easily have been able to spot all the signs in Ashtyn's behaviour, and would have had a good time watching her twist and turn and pout and sigh while everything that Burr is saying is being slammed right into her face through comedy, (by the way, this is why comedy is such a powerful truth medium, it combines truth with humour, two things which the human mind appreciates from other humans) and she basically has to take it while laying down, because people paid to see her and John react, so she can't just walk away in shame, that's what the OP meant.
