My Mark 1 is in a custom sized case just like that (assembled with nuts and bolts by customer) from Sora Shop in Germany. It looks exactly like yours. You can just tell them what dimensions you want and they build it and ship it to you. Was about $120 back in 2016. I plan to do the same for my Mark 2. I put them in shelves and use the front, sides and top only (no back piece installed) so I can slide the case into the shelf over the car, it's the entire reason I went with Sora to begin with.

Can the mark 1 case display it in hover mode with the doors closed if it’s low like yours?

thank you for this review and information. I purchased a case for my mark 2. I also have the mark 1. One thing that is driving me nuts though, I can't power the Mark 2 with usb inside the case, because you have to push the button under the hood. The mark 1 doesn't have this problem. Such a shame 😔
Agreed. They needed a latching switch not a momentary switch!

My preferred case is only 33 and a quarter wide .
Delorean is 35 wide wing mirror to wing mirror.
If Delorean was on hover stand ...would there be enough space then to fit in because of said hover angle
Very nice case! I want to buy one too but just a question, do you have to remove the top of the case everytime you want to switch on or switch off the lights? Because even when the usb is plugged you have to push the switch to activate the lights.
What I do it just lift the case of the base a bit and then turn them on. You have to reach under the case. The clear case itself can be easily removed fro the base, it's just sitting on top of it with some alignment slots in place.
@@DeLoreanTECH Oh ok but you always have to open the car hood right? Or you made an external on/off switch?
Wow..this is cool! I was thinking of getting this Hot Toys Delorean but the display part is the problem of having space. Also the display stand for the Mark 2 should have been poseable. I dont like the 1 angle it has

So how are you turning the lights on and off once the Delorean is in the case?
Unfortunately I leave them off...since they have to be turned on using the mom switch
Would you say there is room to stand both Doc Brown and Marty in front of the Delorean with this case?
yes, the case has enough "depth" to it
I have several of these. None were bowed. Can't go wrong with them for the price.
