Hi Darrell. We liked the cathedral photos the best, it looked very hot. What was the temperature like there? Back to normal life. By the way there’s plenty of fungi at Biddulph Country Park at the moment. The water was really flowing after all the rainfall. Thanks Jon and Sandra

Thanks. It was in the high 30s. When I was getting ready to leave Amalfi I was really struggling. Even in the shade it was a nightmare. Once I was back on the boat with a breeze I started to feel normal again. Just been to Leighton Moss and photographed the bearded tits. That video will be either this week or next.

Hi Darrell, firstly I would just like to ask if your wife is better now and hopefully she wasn’t feeling unwell for long? Now to the video, it was excellent, such wonderful photos and all with a small compact camera quite amazing. The tips were great and I will have to invest in a small compact for my holidays, it is really awkward with the big camera and tripod, lenses, filters, flashes, triggers etc etc , my wife hates me when we plan to go away because I want to take so much gear, a compact might be the answer to her prayers lol. The location of your holiday was amazing, I think I would like to go there but I would probably end up with a hotel at the very top and there is no way I could walk up there, not since losing so much of my lungs due to cancer and I canny see my missus pushing me up in a wheel chair hahaha. Really though it did look lovely with plenty to do and see, I will have to watch out for it and see what’s available in that area. Thank you for sharing this video I thoroughly enjoyed it and I do hope your wife got over her illness and got back to enjoying the holiday 😁👍

My wife is better thanks for asking. It was a mixture of seasickness mixed with hangover. Sorry to hear about your illness, but I can confirm Positano is not wheelchair friendly (it is not very able bodied friendly in August due to the heat). Thanks for sharing - glad you enjoyed the video.
