Blown away by this. Very cool to hear that the high and low vocal layering/ trade offs have returned for this new album , too. Awesome that Roman has been honing his screams with Windswept and Precambrian and now we hear them in new Hate Forest material. This very well might be my personal album of the year for 2022.

I loved Hate Forest way back around 15 years ago, but lost touch with what they were doing. Glad to hear they are still as cold and harsh as ever - I instantly recognised this sound. Seems like i have some catching up to do! \m/
J'ai commandé la version lp. J'attendais un nouvel album avec impatience du groupe depuis un petit moment ça clignotait dans ma tronche. Je cherchais sur Osmose mais rien et là, il y a quelques jours, surprise! Pour moi HATE FOREST est le meilleur projet de Roman Saenko, quand il est revenu avec l'album précédent c'était juste un putain de moment grandiose. Merci à Saenko et à Osmose Prods également. Je suis en train de le découvrir en ce moment même alors que je voulais attendre mon LP. Je n'ai pas pu résister. Cet album a une approche vraiment épique, plus mélodique mais ca reste bien HF. C'est la plus belle sortie de cette année pour la clôturer comme il faut avant un 2023 des plus débiles. Merci à Saenko pour cette offensive glaciale, émouvante et tripante. Le meilleur de l'Ukraine métallique, c'est Hate Forest. Ce mec fait passer un truc absolument unique à travers ce groupe. Qu'il n'arrête jamais avec Hate Forest. Cet album est épique à mort. Guerrier et on sent la noirceur et la mélancolie propre à Saenko. C'est un monument !!! Un colossal respect voire une adoration pour cette entité. A Huge Respect & worship for this entity. 666/10 PS: Même après avoir écouté encore et encore tous les albums et Ep, j'arrive à prendre une putain de baffe magistrale. C'est juste gigantesque.

Moins bon que les albums du début. Pour ma part, c'est du BLood Of Kingu avec un soupçon de Hate Forest. Cependant, le scream est vraiment bon, rajoute des nuances. Mais, ça ne suffit pas pour mes oreilles. Ca sonne moins primitif, raw, cold et hypnotic qu'un Purity. En espérant que les prochains seront comme les débuts.

After listening to Nattens Madrigal by Ulver, Couldn't find anything in BM scene close to it. The raw prodution, the suffocating atmosphere plus the tireless violent blast beats, really did an impact on me. After listen to Innermost and Hour of the centaur by Hate Forest, my search is complete. The prodution on these albums are the closest to that album by Ulver.

Mais, ça blast, ca rauque, ça Scream, ça touche sa patte, c'est brutal, c'est un soupçon plus technique niveau batterie et surtout c'est homogène (tel un Purity). C'est brutal, immersif et on en redemande... Des pays de l'Est ou des US les montagnes n'ont que seules compagnons le blast et la forêt de la haine...

WOW the riffs on 2 first tracks blew me away
The last track is like a beautiful mix of Blood of Kingu and Drudkh. Top tier black metal.
