When using coffee staining, make extra strong coffee, soak till desired darkness is achieved. I then dry mine in the dryer to "set" the stain. I used this technique multiple times for history projects in school.

Spray your sticky stuff with a clear spray paint. That gets rid of the sticky. This works with mod podge as well.

The Battle Hymn Of The Republic, is from a Civil War. You know that thing that was anything,but civil. I love your patriotic decorations. I watched a video the other day with patriotic stuff. She used some great colors that weren’t Waverly. If I remember who the artist is I’ll send you the name.

I really enjoyed your video! I found you purely by accident! I fell asleep watching craft DIY videos for 4th of July and woke up to You! 😊😊 So I restarted because I didn’t want to miss any lol It’s a year later then when you filmed this. It’s Memorial Day 2022! I agree as do most Dollar Tree transfer tape is worthless lol The vinyl is great for home/personal use. If I made projects to sell, I’d use Cricut brand. Also I’m sure you know this by now, Plaid is the Company that makes Folk Art paint, Apple Barrel Paint, Waverly Paint and probably more of our fav paints! Oh and last, I promise I’m normally not a miss bossy pants know it all lol lol I was in Home Depot a few days ago to get paint sticks and learned they will no longer cut wood under 12” for customers. It’s a safety issue. But they will cut your purchased wood down to 12” for free, straight cuts only!
I saw some wood sticking out a trash can so I assumed it was a dump bucket lol I pulled this 1x4 out that was exactly 2 ft. Turned out it was the trash 😂 The young man was so confused as to why I’d like to buy something from the garbage 😂 He asked his boss lol They gave it to me for free lol The paint dept lead was who I asked where the paint stick packs were. He ended up dumping bunches in my cart, then gave me 9 five gal paint sticks too lol so I had all this in my cart, for free lol I felt guilty so I bought a candy bar lol 😂
Your Daughter is absolutely adorable ♥️ She’s now a year older! I have a 2 yr old Granddaughter! I saw her two weeks ago and asked if she wanted to give me a hug, she said with a grin “No, not really!”
Now to your video projects! I loved your style! My fav was the first with that old frame you stained then did the reverse canvas. I also really like the tags. Something about your hand drawn star!

I was just thinking you could have also put the distressing ink on it. You were saying that after you did the coffee and put it in the wash it's sort of looks lighter so I was thinking you could have added the distressing into it after it got washed can't wait for the next video

I just use the Duck brand of contact paper. I use a colored one for the stencil itself and the clear one for my transfer tape. Hope this helps 😊
