That’s because no one today takes the time to listen and enjoy live and well performed music. They just care if it has a beat. My state symphony gives free tickets to students for their classical concerts. I attend as many as I can and ask many of my friends if they would like to come. Yet I typically end up going by myself. The sad reality of people and music today.

Don't worry about high notes. Make the lower registers super strong and slowly add a note each few weeks. Keep that throat open, long set tones and learn pedal tones to get that throat and belly working together. Doc can do a 10 minute plank and he's in his 80 s. And believe me, he can still easily play this. Get your abs in shape. Maynard swam a mile every time he could.

Loved this! Thanx Louis! The original soundtrack is wonderful - such powerful, intense trumpet playing. You have matched it beautifully. My chops are stinging just listening! Bravo! : )

I played trumpet through out high school and college. I heard you play this and instantly I had boots with spurs on.(I have no idea where they came from). I went to the attic and pulled out my noble steed Bach Stradivarius. I went out to my back yard at high noon. Click...Click...Click.. I placed my lips to the mouthpiece, took a deep breath in... What the Hell was that??? As best as I can explain it was between a elephant, a donkey, and a dolphin. With defeat in my heavy heart, I simply handed her my trumpet as I walked by. She gave me these words of support," And you had to play the damn thing in our backyard!"

Expertly done as always, would have loved to heard the second piece which is called 'Sundown' played on cornet. I may be wrong but I believe that was used in the original soundtrack.
