For me the opening 7 note motif played on the solo trumpet is one of the most powerful pieces of film music ever written ... somehow it encompasses the entire Corleone saga and it takes someone with a special tone to convey its yearning, sad quality. This is real virtuosity .... artistry of the highest calibre .... and what a tone!
ABSOLUTE BEST. I LOVE PLAYING ALONG WITH YOU....AT 60 YRS OLD GETTING MY LIP BACK DURING VIRUS HAS BEEN A MIRACLE FOR ME. I LOVE AL HIRT... DOC SEVERENSEN. I HOPE YOU DO TOO. ALL THE SONGS AND EXERCISES MAKE ME FEEL YOUNG AGAIN.
