Ruan Mei will be a cornerstone for so many team comps like Kafka + breaker teams, Dual DPS teams like Jingliu + Blade, and delay comps with characters like Welt. She opens up so many possibilities whereas Argenti is just an AoE damage dealer and that's it.
Not really, if for some reason you must have physical damage (and you don't, enemies have multiple weaknesses) you can just use Silverwolf to implant the weakness of the dps you already have. And she is running alongside this dude.
@@michielmanders9766 No you want DPS to cover mutliple weaknesses eventually. Just becauase you don't need to right now doesn't mean that isn't what the game is about at it's core, don't forget the difficulty is going up soon.
I personally feel like Argenti is almost a unanimous skip unit. Personally i love the design and will be pulling even though i have clara and other DPS units. It just gets boring using the same DPS all the time so i like to shake it up. Im also planning on pulling ruan Mei and Dr. Ratio, which means...if anyone is looking to buy a kidney, let me know.
They really did Argenti dirty. Sandwiching him between one of the best sustains and one of the (possibly) best supports in the game AND being released alongside Silver Wolf's rerun is just evil.
You forgot to mention Silver Wolf and 4star on the banner, the banner is awesome for 4stars, Hanya is nuts, Lynx is nuts and Asta is awesome. Also, I'm waiting to see Ruin Me banner, since f2p Players also value 4 stars on the banner. If there was a better banner on HuoHuo I would have pulled on her.
@@Kspice9000 silverwolf and dr ratio is gonna be the god duo she literally applies 4 debuffs with 1 skill point at e0 s1 and at e2 she applies 5 debuffs with 1 skill point and dr ratios kit scales off debuffs so she is gonna go up in value not down
@Kspice9000 dude SW is a very valuable asset in the game. Like it's fine if you don't have her but definitely a huge boost if you have her in your team. She's not just about "weakness implementations" either. DPS are always replaceable but not like a debuffer like her.
I have been excited for argenti for a while. i just like his aesthetic and while i am an older account I just want this distinguished gentlemen. and i do like xueyi's design.... i just like collecting designs i like honestly. i'll make what i want to use work XP. good words of advice though. good video :)
100% will pull for him. I have pretty much all dps as a day 1 player lmao but I will still pull for him. Since 1. He's Erudition, and 2 he's an addition to my husbando collection :>
IMO I dont think Argenti will be worth beyond right away value so doesnt seem worth to any f2p. There are much better options. Of course if people want him then they should go for him but be prepared to have his value not hit the same as other characters. There are so many dps that the non top tier ones feel very weak.
Argenti is a skip for me. He has no place on my account since I have Jing Yuan, Clara, and even DHIL, so not really lacking on the AoE damage. 100% saving for Ruan Mei as just having mor harmony characters is always a boon.

I am waiting for leaks on 1.7 to make a decision on Ruan Mei. I am waiting to see if a certain character that comes out then that will boost Kafka and dot team damage.
Gonna try a few 10s for Hanya and/or Lynx, if I get Argenti, so be it. He seems a bit boring but maybe I'll change my mind once he's out. Ruan Mei from what I've heard seems insane, but I also don't know if I want to get Ruan Mei (I like using my Asta and only recently got Bronya with Topaz). But I have a feeling she'll have a "too good to be true" kit.
I've decided to pull till the 5-star on Argenti's banner. I really want copies of Hanya and I do like Argenti's design (and i haven't built a physical character yet). If I win the 50/50 then yay I got him If I lose then hopefully I'll get one of the standard characters I don't have yet (God i want Bronya so bad) and I'll have a guarantee for Ruan Mei.
Honestly without the drip marketing of 1.6, i think people would pull for Argenti if they are lacking the physical dps, but Ruan Mei seems to be definitely be worth more than him or Dr. L+Ratio man. No hate to the husbando enjoyers of course, but with Harmony being one of the most busted classes i can see why people are so hyped for her and being a limited 5 star harmony, she has to be stronger than Bronya or at least the same level as her and thats going to really raise her value even more

Waiting before pulling if we ain't sure👌 As you said, there's always a moment during the 2nd banner of any patch where we know: • what the current 5-star is capable of • what the two next 5-star will be capable of • what the 5-star of the future version will look like (with more info, should we do some private research) As for me, it's pretty much set on Ruin Me for my second 5-star Harmony. Love me some bankruptcy 💛
Easiest skip so far. DHIL + Jingliu do so much damage that there's no point pulling for a physical damage dealer. Everyone should be saving for Ruan Mei, who will be another SSS tier Harmony buffer like Bronya.

In the current state of the game argenti isn't that good he doesn't have a planar ornament which is specifically good for him yea saletto is good but he is going to be spamming skill into ult you want to buff ult. The fact they cut off part of his kit to only activate if there are 3 or more enemies is just why. but hey this game is easy you could probably do moc 10 with yanqing, I'm pulling him because his funny. Now a thing about ruan mei, she is pretty much a better asta excelling in multi dps teams, dot teams or teams that want to break a lot. she is also pretty good with follow up attackers because of her buff duration she doesn't fit into the "current meta" but hey if you like her pull her. ratio I think is a funny character most of his damage comes from follow up attacks which activate after a team member attacks (and if he has stacks) which is important to know as most buffers won't work well with him like yukong or bronya (unless you have E6).
I'm gonna try my luck on argenti, cause he seems fun, if i don't get him I'll stop and keep the rest for ruan mei. Also i drew her so i have to get her now.

One thing that is important to note is, If you have a hyper carry team and think ruan mei is the first 5 star buffer she is going to be overpowered I need her I'm going to panic pull her and you aren't pulling her for her as a character, I recommend waiting one patch for 2.0 because a 5 star harmony made for hyper carry teams will be released.
If only Argenti was released earlier as one of the few first dps choices then he would definitely be good. At this point a lot of people have enough dps units to comfortably skip Argenti

Literally same exact place as you. I just started 1 month ago, only DPS I have is Dan Heng E6 (I had to pull for HuoHuo or I'd be fucked forever with sustains) and QQ E0. I'm at 27k jade's now (playing for the first time literally washes you with jades) and I don't know what to do. Try my luck at getting SW, Ruan Mei and Blade and getting fucked, or leave Silver Wolf and going on Ruan Mei and Blade. I already have Bronya so my 1 team would be Blade, Bronya, Ruan Mei and HuoHuo. The second team would have Asta as a staple with whatever sustain I'll find and I'll save everything for Jingliu and Fu Xuan rerun. Man, starting in this period was literally the worst choice ever, character availability is soooo bad with most DPS having been run.

For now just pray that you get Bronya at some point or another so you keep build a very strong mono wind team. E6 Dan Heng is very strong if you know his playstyle. Don't rush cause after 6-7 months you'll be in a very comfy settlement with your characters
the hype for this unit is so nothing that they HAD to make Huohuo's banner absolutely atrocious just so people would roll on his banner and he's not even the target! I'm 100% sure people are gonna pull on his banner just for Hanya
i'm only sad to skip argenti banner because of hanya lol ... i got every single standard unit including e1 bailu... except bronya, so i did unironically have to get her from the 300 wish thing (i have been playing since release so it was possible, otherwise... god T_T). his kit seems oddly plain to me but it is hard to follow up the main dps units we have gotten (blade, DHIL and jingliu all very unique)
Personally im pulling for Silver wolf eidolons, i already have clara, and seele for damage. And i have bronya, tingyun, and ill get honya in phase 2 for supports. Silverwolf is my favorite designed character and i really want to build her as a dps

I have her E2 since 1.1 full dps build event LC i am very satisfied of how much her E2 carried me initially(Yanquinq was awful SW was killing all trash mobs) and i wanted her E6 but now with all this dps powercreep i ll stop with E2S1. I am thinking to pull for Ruan Mei and put in my pseudo mono quantum team(Yukong E2 Is a torture to play) and then pull Hanabi and put Ruan Mei in the other team with Clara and kick Asta there
I am already DPS heavy (DHIL, JIng yuan, Jing liu, Blade and QQ) this is an easy skip for me. RUIN ME sorry Ruan Mei will be a sure pull for me. But going for e2 SW is also an option but I rather go for Ruin Me.

As a newer player I really need a second 5* DPS (Yanqing doesn't count) but I'll go with Kafka over Argenti, even though she's 6 weeks later. If I preferred male characters over female characters, there's also the option of Blade, who's only a 3 week wait.

I’m skipping Argenti, lost the 50/50 on Huohou to Welt at 51 warps which I’m not mad at since I do not have him and was originally going to select him for the guaranteed 5* on the standard banner. I will be saving the rest of my jades for Ruan Mei since I’m guaranteed now to get her.
I agree but as a recent new player, that silverwolf banner is great. I caved and got rewarded with e2 hanya, e1 lynx and won the 50/50 SW. super happy and still have about 30 pulls left over
The only reason why im pulling for argenti is because he's a physical character and I really need one but I also have enough pulls for ruan mei but then I realized those pulls were for blades rerun
See I'm on the fence if I want to skip 1.6 to be honest. Happy with who I got... That could change but eeeeeh tangun and Huohuo on any dps has just been nuts for a combo.
just break efficiency is enough for me to pull for ruan slay. i want to pull for hanya so badly but not risk argenti (i have insane early pity luck so i'm not risking it) and i'm planning to get e1 ruan mei. i have clara, unbuilt but it won't be hard to build her anyways so argenti's worth drops for me a lot. ruan mei though is a support, works for most team comps, then i have topaz so i definitely want ratio (i love FuA teams) then the patch after them is quantum bronya and kafka's DoT bff
stuck between a rock and a hard place ... really considering going for argenti since i love his design and the only "dps" characters i have are DHIL and welt if you consider him one, but i've been struggling to clear MoC due to lack of damage on whatever team DHIL isn't on. truthfully he does not seem that powerful to me though which makes me wanna wait for dr ratio and ruan mei but i don't wanna wait until then to make progress in the end game at the same time.
You can get dr ratio for free, ur problem is solved if you choose to build dr ratio and get ruan mei, then you could go for jingliu in the future maybe?
I'm skipping him, but not for Ruan Mei, but for Silver Woof. I missed her the 1st time, and I am not letting her pass me by again. Hopefully I pull SW early and will still have enough for Ruan Mei.
My curreny 5 star characters are Bronya, Yanqing, Himeko, Seele, Dan Heng, Jing Yuan, Clara, Silver Wolf, Fu Xuan and Topaz so I'm not really needing a new dps. I don't need a healer too since I prefer preservation. Ruan Mei would provide more value to me than Huo Huo and Argenti.
Today i've finally pulled Huo Huo at 70 pulls, then 5 pulls more and i've got Bronya (E1 now) so i'm not pulling ANYTHING until Ruan Mei is released. By that time i should have enough currency to get guaranteed 5* and that should be guaranteed Ruan Mei.
Counterpoint: We should skip Ruan Mei to pull Dr Ratio because statistically Imaginary is the the thing the most people are missing. Snoozekong is not what any party needs, alot of us missed DIL and WeltWang is an absentee father.
I need a better dps fire since I unfortunately did not have enough stellar jades for topaz, I dont need lightning dps since I have jing yuan, I dont need dr ratio since I have DHIL, I also do dont need ice since jing liu got me covered, i have clara which I am planning to build later on after I finished with my other characters, I would definetly pull for ruan mei since I think that more supports will open up new teams for me since if you have a lot of dps and not enough supports for them then they are gonna get benched, but they could share the same support but I want to have more variety in my acc so, in my opinion ruan mei is a must for me(I am on a 50/50 rk and I am f2p but if i do end up losing a 50/50 I hope it would be bronta for my jing liu or gepard since I only have 1 good sustainer which is huo huo)
Argentisan is the Easiest Skip Yet. I want the units coming after him and I have Clara, Some Destructo AOE DPSes and Himeko built so I don't need AOE Coverage nor a DPS I don't need. He looks cool but he's gonna probably be Pretty boring to me. Gonna save up my Summons for Ruan Mei and Dr Ratio (For My Topaz)
Argenti is tempting because I’ll die before I ever go back to using physical TB. And, much as I love him, Luka isn’t a great DPS when you can’t work with his bleed. Same reason I plan to pull for Lunae, Blade, and probably Jingliu, to fill the general damage gaps before I start specializing with DoT or Follow-up teams that require more investment/waiting for further reruns. Those on top of Fu Xuan and Loucha… Oof. Stop releasing characters so I can catch up, please.
i dunno i just pull for Hanya and Xueyi those are the real 5* since they aren't guaranteed, it took me 85 pulls for Hanya, i wonder how many it will take me for Xueyi...
I think im passing on argenti, since i do want silver wolf and want to pull for ruan mei as well. If my main dps are jingliu and qq, then i do need to look for more dps in the future to cover element bases, but im not sure if argenti is the one i want.
I see Ruan Mei becoming something like Shenhe. Gorgeous designs, but also a must-pull for Remembrance/Cryo. I would've pulled for Argenti, but now I'm waiting for 1.6 as F2P!
but Shenhe ain't a must pull. I generally prefer Rossaria in Freeze teams for easier energy regen (Fav procs) Her buff is really limited and expires insanely fast in AoE. Ruan Mei seems to be way more of a generalist and not niche support for 1-2 characters
I actually have Clara and I honestly can't stand using her. Her voice drives me crazy! "help me Mr. Svarag!" every 2 seconds ugh! Lol. I also dont like that she doesn't actually DO anything in combat but stand there. Svarog litterally does everything so i wish the character was just him. I know im in the minority with this opinion though.

Only got jing liu as my main dps for the first team moc and decent build QQ for the second team yes i need dps but waifu over meta baby im all in my 40k jades for ruan mei alone 😂 and also im planning to replace my QQ for xueyi so it's a win win for me

I am a day 1 player and I was considering getting Argenti bc my JY was dookie but I got Topaz, and I've been grinding the follow up set and now he is a beast so Argenti became a skip.

Argenti has a lot of value if you lack physical and real (not splash damage) AOE coverage. If you have Clara and/or Jing Yuan however it drops.

This was indeed the route my account was going for, especially since Ruan Mei is going to be a good paring for Jingliu
if you are f2p and already have a good roster of supports/dps, skip all banners and save until Penacony. Don't let FoMo get to you.

DHIL + Jingliu do so much damage that there's no point pulling for a physical damage dealer.
Everyone should be saving for Ruan Mei, who will be another SSS tier Harmony buffer like Bronya.

In the current state of the game argenti isn't that good he doesn't have a planar ornament which is specifically good for him yea saletto is good but he is going to be spamming skill into ult you want to buff ult. The fact they cut off part of his kit to only activate if there are 3 or more enemies is just why. but hey this game is easy you could probably do moc 10 with yanqing, I'm pulling him because his funny.
Now a thing about ruan mei, she is pretty much a better asta excelling in multi dps teams, dot teams or teams that want to break a lot. she is also pretty good with follow up attackers because of her buff duration she doesn't fit into the "current meta" but hey if you like her pull her.
ratio I think is a funny character most of his damage comes from follow up attacks which activate after a team member attacks (and if he has stacks) which is important to know as most buffers won't work well with him like yukong or bronya (unless you have E6).
I'm gonna try my luck on argenti, cause he seems fun, if i don't get him I'll stop and keep the rest for ruan mei.

Talent: SPD buff for team, whenever enemies’ weakness deals a minor ice DMG to them (allies can also do it, and ult have similar effect, also this scale with Break Effect)

Every 10% Break Effect that exceed 120% increase her skill DMG buff by 6%, up to 36%

One thing that is important to note is, If you have a hyper carry team and think ruan mei is the first 5 star buffer she is going to be overpowered I need her I'm going to panic pull her and you aren't pulling her for her as a character, I recommend waiting one patch for 2.0 because a 5 star harmony made for hyper carry teams will be released.
If only Argenti was released earlier as one of the few first dps choices then he would definitely be good. At this point a lot of people have enough dps units to comfortably skip Argenti

Literally same exact place as you. I just started 1 month ago, only DPS I have is Dan Heng E6 (I had to pull for HuoHuo or I'd be fucked forever with sustains) and QQ E0.
I'm at 27k jade's now (playing for the first time literally washes you with jades) and I don't know what to do.
Try my luck at getting SW, Ruan Mei and Blade and getting fucked, or leave Silver Wolf and going on Ruan Mei and Blade. I already have Bronya so my 1 team would be Blade, Bronya, Ruan Mei and HuoHuo.
The second team would have Asta as a staple with whatever sustain I'll find and I'll save everything for Jingliu and Fu Xuan rerun.
Man, starting in this period was literally the worst choice ever, character availability is soooo bad with most DPS having been run.

Good luck on your journey playing the game buddy! For now just pray that you get Bronya at some point or another so you keep build a very strong mono wind team. E6 Dan Heng is very strong if you know his playstyle. Don't rush cause after 6-7 months you'll be in a very comfy settlement with your characters
the hype for this unit is so nothing that they HAD to make Huohuo's banner absolutely atrocious just so people would roll on his banner and he's not even the target! I'm 100% sure people are gonna pull on his banner just for Hanya
i'm only sad to skip argenti banner because of hanya lol ... i got every single standard unit including e1 bailu... except bronya, so i did unironically have to get her from the 300 wish thing (i have been playing since release so it was possible, otherwise... god T_T). his kit seems oddly plain to me but it is hard to follow up the main dps units we have gotten (blade, DHIL and jingliu all very unique)
Personally im pulling for Silver wolf eidolons, i already have clara, and seele for damage. And i have bronya, tingyun, and ill get honya in phase 2 for supports.
Silverwolf is my favorite designed character and i really want to build her as a dps

I have her E2 since 1.1 full dps build event LC i am very satisfied of how much her E2 carried me initially(Yanquinq was awful SW was killing all trash mobs) and i wanted her E6 but now with all this dps powercreep i ll stop with E2S1.
I am thinking to pull for Ruan Mei and put in my pseudo mono quantum team(Yukong E2 Is a torture to play) and then pull Hanabi and put Ruan Mei in the other team with Clara and kick Asta there

I am already DPS heavy (DHIL, JIng yuan, Jing liu, Blade and QQ) this is an easy skip for me. RUIN ME sorry Ruan Mei will be a sure pull for me. But going for e2 SW is also an option but I rather go for Ruin Me.

As a newer player I really need a second 5* DPS (Yanqing doesn't count) but I'll go with Kafka over Argenti, even though she's 6 weeks later. If I preferred male characters over female characters, there's also the option of Blade, who's only a 3 week wait.

I’m skipping Argenti, lost the 50/50 on Huohou to Welt at 51 warps which I’m not mad at since I do not have him and was originally going to select him for the guaranteed 5* on the standard banner. I will be saving the rest of my jades for Ruan Mei since I’m guaranteed now to get her.
I agree but as a recent new player, that silverwolf banner is great. I caved and got rewarded with e2 hanya, e1 lynx and won the 50/50 SW. super happy and still have about 30 pulls left over

The only reason why im pulling for argenti is because he's a physical character and I really need one but I also have enough pulls for ruan mei but then I realized those pulls were for blades rerun
See I'm on the fence if I want to skip 1.6 to be honest. Happy with who I got... That could change but eeeeeh tangun and Huohuo on any dps has just been nuts for a combo.
just break efficiency is enough for me to pull for ruan slay. i want to pull for hanya so badly but not risk argenti (i have insane early pity luck so i'm not risking it) and i'm planning to get e1 ruan mei. i have clara, unbuilt but it won't be hard to build her anyways so argenti's worth drops for me a lot. ruan mei though is a support, works for most team comps, then i have topaz so i definitely want ratio (i love FuA teams) then the patch after them is quantum bronya and kafka's DoT bff
stuck between a rock and a hard place ... really considering going for argenti since i love his design and the only "dps" characters i have are DHIL and welt if you consider him one, but i've been struggling to clear MoC due to lack of damage on whatever team DHIL isn't on. truthfully he does not seem that powerful to me though which makes me wanna wait for dr ratio and ruan mei but i don't wanna wait until then to make progress in the end game at the same time.

You can get dr ratio for free, ur problem is solved if you choose to build dr ratio and get ruan mei, then you could go for jingliu in the future maybe?
That way, you will have an imaginery dps team and a ice dps team, pretty well rounded
I'm skipping him, but not for Ruan Mei, but for Silver Woof. I missed her the 1st time, and I am not letting her pass me by again. Hopefully I pull SW early and will still have enough for Ruan Mei.

My curreny 5 star characters are Bronya, Yanqing, Himeko, Seele, Dan Heng, Jing Yuan, Clara, Silver Wolf, Fu Xuan and Topaz so I'm not really needing a new dps. I don't need a healer too since I prefer preservation. Ruan Mei would provide more value to me than Huo Huo and Argenti.

Today i've finally pulled Huo Huo at 70 pulls, then 5 pulls more and i've got Bronya (E1 now) so i'm not pulling ANYTHING until Ruan Mei is released. By that time i should have enough currency to get guaranteed 5* and that should be guaranteed Ruan Mei.

Counterpoint: We should skip Ruan Mei to pull Dr Ratio because statistically Imaginary is the the thing the most people are missing. Snoozekong is not what any party needs, alot of us missed DIL and WeltWang is an absentee father.

I need a better dps fire since I unfortunately did not have enough stellar jades for topaz, I dont need lightning dps since I have jing yuan, I dont need dr ratio since I have DHIL, I also do dont need ice since jing liu got me covered, i have clara which I am planning to build later on after I finished with my other characters, I would definetly pull for ruan mei since I think that more supports will open up new teams for me since if you have a lot of dps and not enough supports for them then they are gonna get benched, but they could share the same support but I want to have more variety in my acc so, in my opinion ruan mei is a must for me(I am on a 50/50 rk and I am f2p but if i do end up losing a 50/50 I hope it would be bronta for my jing liu or gepard since I only have 1 good sustainer which is huo huo)

Argentisan is the Easiest Skip Yet. I want the units coming after him and I have Clara, Some Destructo AOE DPSes and Himeko built so I don't need AOE Coverage nor a DPS I don't need. He looks cool but he's gonna probably be Pretty boring to me. Gonna save up my Summons for Ruan Mei and Dr Ratio (For My Topaz)

Argenti is tempting because I’ll die before I ever go back to using physical TB. And, much as I love him, Luka isn’t a great DPS when you can’t work with his bleed. Same reason I plan to pull for Lunae, Blade, and probably Jingliu, to fill the general damage gaps before I start specializing with DoT or Follow-up teams that require more investment/waiting for further reruns. Those on top of Fu Xuan and Loucha… Oof. Stop releasing characters so I can catch up, please.

I think im passing on argenti, since i do want silver wolf and want to pull for ruan mei as well. If my main dps are jingliu and qq, then i do need to look for more dps in the future to cover element bases, but im not sure if argenti is the one i want.

I see Ruan Mei becoming something like Shenhe. Gorgeous designs, but also a must-pull for Remembrance/Cryo. I would've pulled for Argenti, but now I'm waiting for 1.6 as F2P!
but Shenhe ain't a must pull. I generally prefer Rossaria in Freeze teams for easier energy regen (Fav procs)
Her buff is really limited and expires insanely fast in AoE.
Ruan Mei seems to be way more of a generalist and not niche support for 1-2 characters

I actually have Clara and I honestly can't stand using her. Her voice drives me crazy! "help me Mr. Svarag!" every 2 seconds ugh! Lol. I also dont like that she doesn't actually DO anything in combat but stand there. Svarog litterally does everything so i wish the character was just him.

I am a day 1 player and I was considering getting Argenti bc my JY was dookie but I got Topaz, and I've been grinding the follow up set and now he is a beast so Argenti became a skip.
