@@Monte91 It's pretty great. I took it to the lake a couple times, and had a lot of fun. I put an electric trolling motor on it, and was able to cruise around the lake. The kids loved it.
Two years later this motor is going strong ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBZWgzfpS2Jj7JqIHyaSZjyVHNUgCKCBf Just uploaded a video of it after 2 years. We use it probably a dozen days each year on our small raft.-original review- We got this motor the other day and tested it out. I don't have anything to compare it to, but it seems good to me. It has all the features advertised - the motor housing is metal. We will see how it performs longer term and I will revise this review if needed. Some initial observations:- Good thrust, moves our boat around really well- It comes with a circuit breaker but no switch - so there's no way to kill the motor other than yanking the connection off the battery. I installed an inline switch.- The mount bracket is plastic and I worry it might break- There are a number of plastic parts that I worry about, but the most important ones are metal or some kind of composite
@@aurakk5624 thanks for watching, sorry but I forgot all the dimensions of the floor board. What I can only remember was I used a 1/2 inch thick of plywood.
I know a guy who had a fish puncture his SH4. Not sure if he had if overinflated or what... but when he was reeling it in, the fin on the fish's back punctured the side of his boat.
Some great ideas there, thanks for sharing. Why are your bolts so long on the motor mount and why do you put pipe insulation around diy wooden seats? Is it to protect the top of the boat?
Your seats are a great idea! I think I will do similar, I’m going to cut the side out of the 2 adjoining box to make a longer box & accommodate bigger items
Great idea to use hitch pins on the motor mount instead of the nuts and bolts that come with it. So are the seats. Isn't it awkward to have to reach directly behind your back to handle the motor throttle? Thanks.
20 ah boss, d ko alam kung ilang oras ang aabutin pero ginamit ko ng 4 na oras na fully charged pagbalik ko check ko ung battery life kalahti lang na consume.
I just bought a Seakhawk 4. I love this idea.

Thanks for watching and the precaution buddy, appreciate it much.
Some of those fins are like razors, doesn't surprise me.
Love it. So smart.

Those are the only bolts I got, lazy to cut or go to buy a shorter one. Yes my friend, insulation protects the top of the boat. Thanks for watching.
@@cesar8359 Thank you.

how can i charge the baterry again after the use ????
I bought a battery charger and charge it after used or before I use it again
@@cesar8359 how long does the battery last before you need to recharge it?
I'm using a 56lb battery for my trolling motor. I'm thinking that putting it in back with me would be too much. Do you put yours mid or bow?
I put my battery in the bow.

Cutting the side out of the 2 adjoining box to make a longer box is also a great idea, I should have thought of that before.
