Inshore Fishing with an INTEX SEAHAWK

- Can you catch inshore fish with an INTEX SEAHAWK and 2HP outboard? Let's find out. We went on a fun adventure with @fisheatrepeat and his Seahawk 4 to catch some snapper and kingfish in a sheltered Harbour. Equipped with lures and bait we headed out into the deeper channels to get onto some fish.
The Intex Seahawk is actually an inflatable fishing boat. But generally, it's used in calmer freshwater environments. It even has some rod holders and attachment points for an outboard motor.

Hope you guys enjoyed the video - check out Dave's (fisheatrepeat) version of the video here: ruclips.net/video/hT8YTIkNjqY/видео.html
Two bros’ fun time! Great to see both came back safely after the boys out on the water 😅 Even better with a snapper!
The motor was made by Tohatsu, and yes, they were "dodgy." I believe Tohatsu makes all mercury motors under 10hp. The largest small outbd maker in the world. Mine ( I had two) were both finnicky, but if you set the choke a little rich, they would run well enough. Very lightweight, at about 23lbs IIRC.
Hahaha SO GOOD!! This was really enjoyable to watch not only because it was a fun day but to see how one video is edited differently by everyone :) Very, very cool day and honestly one of my most memorable fishing trips I think, especially considering we (Mark) actually got a snapper!
I think it is the 𝑵𝒁 funniest fishing video
@@walkintomydream7208 I hope it goes mental viral for you guys 🤣👌
@@fisheatrepeat kkk it’s all about having fun!
Hahaha, yeah it certainly was a very memorable and fun fishing trip. I miss the good old Seahawk. Just like fishing from a lounge ☺️
@@Fishingreminder 🤣🤣🤣 I think I almost need to give it to you as a gift haha
I have we boat like that a use it they pretty good catch few trout in it going out on it this weekend for some big perch
What boat is your one?
They are pretty good for freshwater fishing, eh
@@Fishingreminder he'll yeah won't put it in the sea tho but in small shallow lakes are good for it because having a bigger boat won't go there
subbed to both your channels for awhile now, good to see you both doing something together :)
Cheers Andrew, that was real good fun hanging out with Dave. Glad you enjoyed the vid
😂😂😂😂😂 cool! How about the deeper external battery upgrade?! 😁
Still working on getting the courage to do it, lol
Hi nice video, what motor is that?
I think it's just an old 2hp mercury
@@Fishingreminder Thank you, I recommend you to use 3/4 of plywood On The Floor so You Can have more stability On The boat 😎👍
do you think that boat can handle if a sting ray is on the rod or it will just pull you away bcs i want to do the same but there is really giant rays that i cant even pull up from the pier and even cant get in the crab/fish net?
A big stingray would tow you around for a while with locked drag and you wouldn't be able to land it or unhook it from the boat. Eventually you would be able to get it close to the boat and then your only option would be to cut the line I think. Depends how big we're talking of course. Where I live we have stingrays over 100 pound and I would not be able to handle one like that from any small boat or kayak. But smaller ones could probably be half way lifted out the water to remove the hook. Although fishing from a little boat like that I usually use light tackle and a big ray would break off anyway.
Another option is to fish with lures. I never caught a stingray on a lure, good way to avoid them.
I'm thinking of buying one , could you please advice if tvis boat is good for beach fishing ?????
It's only suitable for very calm conditions. I would rather get one with hard inflatable drop stitch hull. I currently have an aqua marina aircat which is much better suited for fishing. I'll make a review of this soon.
can it hannde a 54 lbs or 24 kilo motor
I don't think so - it's not very strong
Still using this? How has it held up?
haven't used it since this video to be honest :) We've been using an Aqua Marina Aircat instead. Will be posting a review of this soon. Much better suited for this type of fishing.
@@Fishingreminder Bro you're comparing a $150 boat with a $1500 boat...
Fishing hooks and inflatable boat.
haha, yeah an interesting combination, eh :)
