Okay, I’m now OBSESSED with making 3D anatomy animations! Understanding biomechanics is a total game changer for pole dancers! I use the #twistedballerina as an example to show you just HOW our unique strength and mobility differences impact our pole dancing.

great video, one small thing that would be great would to maybe have no background music or quieter music as I find it a bit hard to understand you speaking! xx

makes more much more sense now the relationship between shoulder extension, thoracic rotation, and hip abduction thank you!

omg this makes SO much sense now! I have very disproportionately stretchy quads and external hip rotation, so I have always loved ballerina variations. Would love to know some more pole moves that take advantage of that (it's fun to work on stuff that's hard but it can be a big win to find something that just clicks!)

I've wanted this move forever! Got a bad version of it at class- does your book cover which exercises to do to be achieve this move and other moves please? Thank you for this video- it is really, really useful. TY

Ugh! This is a move I hope to get someday, it's so pretty but I'm just not that flexible...My thoracic/shoulder just isn't there yet. Thank you for the explanation!

One can literally feel your enthusiasm for the topic. It's really contagious. Thump up for this. But please, can you turn the music off :-)
