The entire series of interviews is priceless. Whenever I have some time in hand, I listen to one of these interviews and feel enriched. Thank you Moti Lalwani bhai for documenting all this.
@nareshkhattar bhai, Burman Dada is one subject one would never tire to learn more on him. And Dada has so much waiting to be discovered about him, that there is no end. I always say that one life is not enough to get to know about him. And I have not been able touch his Bangla tenure which for obvious reasons, except for editing and uploading SD Burman Biography by Girindra Majumdar in Bangla in 5 parts. My contribution is only to the extent of English sub-titles for larger audience. One of the parts, Part 4, has crossed 3,60,000 views. Please do view it. You will love it. I have of course been able get translate some of the Bangla articles, and I have discovered a lot more than his HFM. Thanks for encouraging words.
@@lalwanimoti ji, you are too unassuming to take any credit, sir; but we fans know how much have you worked on documenting the dada's life and music. Eternally grateful for that _/\_
@@nareshkhattardear, Though I deserve some credit for my research, you are lavish in your praise. I decided from the beginning to conduct recorded interviews so that no one can challenge the information I gather. And we it was as if those who had worked with SD and knew him well were waiting to us and talk about him. Everyone that I met was in awe of him. Ever music director that I met volunteered that they had been inspired by SD, some mentioning the songs they created. I have a lot to tell, all good about SD Burman.
I have seen all the interview of your channel. I have learned a lot of about SD Burman. I have searched lot of through out internet and youtube but there is no recorded video of SD Burman or any recorded music sitting. It is very unfortunate.
@K Sarkar, It's true that SD Burman was not interested in self-publicity or photo-sessions. However for 'Fauji Bhaiyo' he did speak and present songs. There too you will find that he spoke mostly about others sharing their songs. In the 3rd video he is seen receiving award. @We the people Thanks for appreciating our efforts. Dada was a very pious man. 'Badi sooni sooni hai', the last song he composed, was true to his last days spent in this world.
