    Great video Lindsey! I have used for years the Stampin' Up! stamp & scrub along with the cleaner but recently broke down and bought the Lawn Fawn cloth. Now that is all I use. It is so worth the purchase. I just dampen it and keep it on my craft table and as soon as I'm done stamping I rub on that cloth and the stamp is clean and all I used was water!

    Thank you so much!!! So I was going to go buy a new acrylic block, as it is covered in Sazon! So thankful I finally found something that will work! Excited to try!! I’ve tried everything!! Baby wipes, dawn and warm water, etc....and scrubbing like there’s no tomorrow!! And nothing! So I really appreciate this!

    Probably the bane of my crafting existence! I'm trying to accept that my stamps will all be tinted, and that is just proof that I'm using the products I get. Though there is nothing stopping me from scrubbing the living daylights out of my stamps with ultra clean, scrubbies, and shammies. :P
    Looking back, I would say get a chamois instead of the LF stamp shammie. I got a LF one, and then later got a twin pack amazon basics chamois (mainly for drying my hair when I was going to the gym), and the material feels exactly the same, just the price and size was different. :D

    Thanks for this video, Lindsey! I went out and bought the Ranger cleaner last night after being unhappy with the Stazon cleaner. I use alcohol, too. I cut it with water and it still works great!

    About the stamp shammy from Lawn Fawn. It is just a 5 x 7 piece of artificial chamois. You can get the Absorber in the car department of Walmart for $10. It is the same thing but the size is 3 squat feet. Just cut a piece of it to the size you want.

    Thank you for your helpful tips! I don’t use stamps often so I have little experience in this area.

    Hi Lindsay... I just bought my first stamp from design with Prima and as much as I love the stamp itself there no directions on how to clean it so here I am on RUclips and I see you and it's a really great tutorial. I am wondering where you get those blocks that you placed the sticky stamp on. I didn't realize you had to order everything separately and of course they never said that I did. I have border stamps so they're really long and I don't even know if I need one but I'm curious kids I get a smaller one some day. Thanks again!!

      Hello! I’m glad this was helpful. You can find the acrylic blocks at any craft store or online at places like scrapbook.com. They come in a variety of sizes and shapes. You can also use a clear lid in a pinch until you pick up a block 😉

    I have experienced my block getting those little teeny tiny fractures from accidentally leaving a stamp on the Block soaking in alcohol overnight! Not my finest moment lol! But I love it and the block still works fine! My only warning would be if you have a desk with a varnish on it to be careful of the alcohol. I have a wooden desk with a varnish/seala on top, and when I get the alcohol on the desk if I don't wipe it up immediately the sealant bubbles up!

      I will say though the block doesn't feel sharp on the Cracks like it's shattered or anything, you can just see these little teeny tiny lines on it from the alcohol. It doesn't hurt to use or touch and it's not about to shatter and fall apart

      Oh no! Yea, I think the key is to use it sparingly and to wipe it off immediately.

    I love your common sense approach. We have that in common...use a 40% off coupon and buy a new block if it needs to be replaced.

    So being brand new I bought Stazon black ink lol and a kitty block rubber stamp. What can I use to clean stazon off of it? Baby wipes if used immediately? Thank you😊

    • @LindseyDecor
      @LindseyDecor  4 года назад +1

      You can use the Stazon cleaner on red rubber stamps but you might still have some staining since StazOn ink is pretty permanent.

    Lindsey, check into The Absorber as a substitute to the Stamp Shammy. It's large enough, you can cut it into SEVERAL shammies for the price of one of the Lawn Fawn ones. It's in the automobile cleaning section of your local stores. www.amazon.com/CleanTools-51149-Absorber-Synthetic-Chamois/dp/B0000AY69V

    Hey Lindsey thanks for sharing these tips. I myself use hand sanitizer to clean my acrylic blocks and it seems to work fine to.

    • @LindseyDecor
      @LindseyDecor  6 лет назад +1

      Yes, it’s the alcohol in the sanitizer that works 😉
