Great video Josh looks like you might have to get your self a new Winch unfortunately. Those water crossings look great you both should of stop and had a swim and let your dog get out and had a play in the water he or she would of enjoyed it.
Aha epic! That would of been around the time I saw you driving through the blue mountains. We just came back from doing that exact same track!! Did it in a stock y62 with just wheels no lift. Struggled not to do damage but made it!
You two just blow me away sometimes. You are so cute together and you make a great team. I love the way you interact and also think you set a wonderful example for other couples. Very proud of you both. Looking forward to seeing you very soon and love you both to bits! Big hugs from A. Deb xxx Love and pats to Jorja too! ❤❤🐕🦺🦮🐕🙂
Just a quick note. Our winch was working fine on Wednesday (midweek), went our on Sunday, hit a spring (water spring, soft ground) and just sank. Quick as lighting I run out the winch, hit the remote switch, nothing. WTF. I get out, flick remote button, nothing, frustrated as hell as it worked midweek. I radioed for assistance, a chap came to assist & winched us out Why tell you this? Well I have a winch rope wrapped around the bullbar as I can't retract it, ha. I gets home, hit the remote, winch fired up, bullshit, but I had to stop as rope still wrapped around bullbar. Unwrap it, lay it out, hit the remote, nothing. Now I'm as frustrated as hell. The remote was fine, continuity all good. All indicated the solenoids in the control box. Pulled apart, can't fault, no arking or burnt contacts, all sweet. So I run continuity checks on winch motor, all appear okay but I have discounted the remote and solenoids, hence I pull the motor down. Again all appears okay what can it be? Eventually I discovered the internal winding earth had a bad contact with motor housing, it tested fine with continuity of multimeter, but arked and broke down when voltage applied. This was poor workmanship, as the eyelet was just clamped by bolt & nut onto the housing. I removed the bolt, emery clothed surfaces to remove arking, then reassembled with a conductivity washer between eyelet and housing plus a spring washer between eyelet and nut. That winch now works everytime. For peace of mind, I painted the external screw head white, why? If it ever fails again, I'll know which screw to go to first to resolve issue, but I suspect it'll never fail again. Moral, Check your internal ground wire for motor if the new solenoid box doesn't resolve issue. A conductive washer is real cheap compared to a replacement winch.
I have a 9 year old runva that has never let me down, been on a bunch of different cars and I only used it an hour ago to pull a project into the shed. I run 70mm2 cable and mount the solenoid behind the grill with in-cab controls. Always works.
Beauty mate! I had a runva and it cut out in the water up at Cape 3 years ago and cost us a car! Going to throw a Warn in I reckon. Thanks for watching!
@Travelling Campers a lot of the time it's the solenoids. Warn had the worst design for solenoids with the multi solenoid. I would get an albright and run it like a winch truck, make it so you can get to it and it's serviceable.
Some awesome lakes around! The freespool is quite hard to get to especially for Mikayla, I couldn’t get out of the car and let off the break. Thanks for watching mate
مقطع رائع جدا ًوممتع هذه السيارة ذات شعبية كبيرة في السعودية ،، ❤❤

was your winch rope binded up and it was going out on in and in was out ?
