- Come along and enjoy the simplicity of rolling trains operating on my ATSF Slaton Subdivision. I'm going to explore these simple scenes over a series of videos, giving viewers a railfanning perspective 30 years back in to late 1993 in west Texas
Fantastic video!
What can I say? You simply continue to impress. The trains look good and the detail of the scenery continues to improve, especially the blending of the backdrops. Bravo!!!
As always Joel, I appreciate your support and kind words!
Nicely done! Great scenery and excellent weathering of cars and locomotives!
Thank you!
Thanx guys. All these yellow bonnet SD's and Geep's get me back to where I feel I belong. Augusta Ks. on a busy Saturday in 1980.
There was a layout in the early 1980's that was a major inspiration for me, (along with Allen McClelland's V&O and Chuck Hitchcock's Argentine Division). It was David Barrow's Cat Mountain & Santa Fe. Your layout makes me think of those. The Santa Fe Blue Bonnets rolling through open desert scenes are iconic. Very nice work! Thanks for the video.
Very miuch the samee for me. You reference some of the pioneers well. All inspirations to me, especially David Barrow,. I can't pay service to David, but this is my take on it. I'm flattered that you would even consider my layout with those legends!
Very cool 👍🤠👍
Your layout blends into the backdrop incredibly well!
Thank you. It’s not perfect, but I am certainly happy with how it has worked out. Sometime just a little highlight in the foreground scenery makes it blend!
Cheers
That was great, love those warbonnets running through your scenery.
Thank you very much!!!
Looking Great, enjoyed it.
Thank you!
Ok. You blew it with all those Haverty Warbonnets. No waywars behind those Warbonnets.
Haha!
