    The word you mean is 'staked'.

      You’re, right! Non native speaker here, checked the manual... ‘stake the sprocket nut...’ Ups... 🤭

    Cause these bikes are not made/assembled in Japan, probably France like mine tenere was...quality issues everywhere. Thanks God engine is made entirely in Japan. Anyway after delivery one should retighten all bolts and nuts and grease what should be greased.

      There is probably very few bikes still made in Japan. Still considering what I’ve put the T7 through it is holding up very well!

      Ive heard people realising that the main bearings in the swing arm arent greased at all

    • @FARANDFURTHER
      @FARANDFURTHER  2 года назад

      I have 40000 and they are still smooth as silk. There is loads of noise on Internet, check it yourself and you see. Maybe there is not a lot of grease but it seems to be fine on mine, for now.

    I wonder how chain and sprocket sounds now. because it's noisy IMHO. and i read that by changing it, you can reduce annoying noises from there

    Nerozumim ani slovo, ale pochopil jsem správně dle obrázků, že Yamaha matku utahuje málo a hlavně, že ji špatně nebo nijak nezajišťuje?

    • @FARANDFURTHER
      @FARANDFURTHER  4 года назад +1

      Čau, jo jo byla skoro úplně povolená, šla odšroubovat na neutrál a nebyla zajištěná jak má být. Buďto se na to někdo vykašlal a nezajistil to nebo málo a sama se povolila. Ono to není nic katastrofálního, protože přeci jen ta ozubka tam byla pěkně přirostlá trochou rzi, ale tak pro info...

      @@FARANDFURTHER Koukal jsem u sebe a mam to zajištěný, utahovací moment jsem nekontroloval, najeto jen 5kkm. Když chceš sundat kryt, tak musí dolů i tyčka řazení nebo to vyleze?

    • @FARANDFURTHER
      @FARANDFURTHER  4 года назад

      Pokud je to zajištěný jak má, tak se to nehne. Dá se to sundat bez odmontování tyčky.

    I can’t believe that Yamaha didn’t ping that sprocket nut man that’s crazy! Mine was done and I redid it after I went to a 16 tooth on my 2021.

    How did you tighten the nut ? 1st gear ? Using the rear break ? Both ?

    • @FARANDFURTHER
      @FARANDFURTHER  3 года назад

      Thanks, very happy it is useful content. Considering the required torque it’s enough to ask someone to step on the rear break.

    Thank you for the good tip. May i ask where did you bought the front sprocket JTF1591-15RB? I want to keep the standard size (15 teeth with Rubber Cushioned). Thank you!

    • @FARANDFURTHER
      @FARANDFURTHER  3 года назад +1

      Hi Henrique, I'm in Czech republic and I bought it from the local supplier. I got the JT brand and the part numbers I ordered was as you say JTF1591RB - 15 teeth and JTR1876 for the rear one. Depending where you are there is also AFAM 21607 if the JT is tough to get.

      @@FARANDFURTHER Thank you. The JTF1591RB with 15 teeth is tough to get, but the one without RB is easy. Waiting for some answers from local supplier, hopefully one will have it.

    honestly i dont like the pinned thing makes it a pain in the ass to take off i would just red lock tight it

    • @DrazenCika
      @DrazenCika 4 года назад +1

      Original Yamaha XT600Z Tenere had a pin, and had no issues whatsoever, Loctite is overused on poorly engineered bikes like the KTM 😉

    • @FARANDFURTHER
      @FARANDFURTHER  4 года назад

      A lot of people mention red Locktite (permanent). Maybe next time... I think it would be better solution because now you're supposed to use new nut because one has to stoke it to fix it, this would not be the case with Locktite.

    • @scottyaustria
      @scottyaustria 4 года назад

      @@FARANDFURTHER red loctite is "sort of" permanent, you heat it up with a torch and then you can remove it again. but that would be a pai in the field. I'd prefere a spline going through the nut and axle. so you can reuse them all the time..
      and onethjng abput loctite not a lot ofpeople know... it changes you torque value , so eg. you torque something with 13Nm with loctite..afte its dried is way higher like 17 or 20Nm... BMW advise sometimes not to use loctite on every bolt that it was used in the factory.
