Good stuff! Its starting to come together in my head. I didn't realize when I started flying a drone (DJI Spark) that I would be diving into the world of color grading and learning all about ISO, FPS, and Shutter Speeds......but learning a lot. Appreciate the tutorial videos.
There are a few things I absolutely love about my Spark as opposed to the couple "toy" drones I have... The camera, though fixed at 1080p/30fps is clean and sharp. Far superior than my "toy" drones. The Spark is reasonably stable in moderate winds... my "toy" drones can't handle wind. Crash resistance of the Spark is excellent compared to my toy drones; especially when using prop and gimble guards. The controller has a solid feel and electronically top-notch in its class. Nothing like a Mavic or such, but lightyear's ahead of my toy drones.
That’s awesome thank you so much. I was thinking of going fcpx but was unsure as I didn’t think there was that much editing software in it. Great video and love that boat edit at the end that’s my kind of look.
Great video, as always! Silly question, but isn’t the “cinematic look” a lesser quality image? More muted colours, lower frame rate, etc. It’s seems funny how we want to imitate those old limitations. It’s like Minecraft. Blocky graphics for nostalgia’s sake.
I noticed at 2:05 that there is some heavy compression showing blocky shapes over the waterfall. Is this RUclips's compression, or does the Spark compress the footage like that? Thanks in advance if anyone knows the answer :)
