I think that a lot of people like him,because he is young and he is keeping everything very real. with every song he tells us some more of his private life, and he shares his struggles. I believe most of his subs are also really young too and its just cool seeing someone so talented grow with you. And the dude obviously has flow, wordplay, some nice rhymes, the dude can sing and has a really good ear for hooks, he has charisma, character and is just overall a chill dude. I get what you are trying to critique, but i think him being so young is the exciting part of it. You get to see his growth over the years and i believe this dude has a future in rap. If you would like another song suggestion i would probably say "nocturnal rainbows".
There is nothing wrong with liking him for any of those reasons that you mentioned. We are only being objective and looking at his music and ability from a technical standpoint. He has potential and he has done a great job cultivating a fan base and developing his craft thus far. Is he an elite rapper? Of course not but that shouldn't stop him from improving. And these be the top dudes out right now. I don't get it and when you voice your opinion they call you a hater. They think a nice beat solves everything. They main fan base young kids that don't know real hip hop cuz this trash is all the media feeds them. The best way to put it is there are 2 types of artists. There are rappers and then there is a mc. These days rap is a fashion show and a popularity contest. Who's hanging out with the kardashians. Back in the day it was about being lyrical and actually saying something. This is the mc. An artist who was lyrical and who could connect with people through their lyrics because they were actually talking about something. For example future is a rapper. Locksmith is a mc. Bit late to comment, but my opinon is that he has age on his side so he has plenty of time to improve, more things to experience that he can draw inspiration from, and he is at a point where he can go either two ways he can keep going the way he's going and eventually he become one of the top rappers there is, or he can fall in to the wrong crowd of 'rappers' and end up making 'good' songs with nothing to say, keeping with the sports comparison the most talented sports people had to have hard work and someone to coach them so I think if he keeps at it and try to keep the right kind of people around him that will help him grow he will definitely be one of the best. I agree with the Vegas guys. I have been listening to rap since rap's inception. AK is on point with everything as the beat, hook, tempo with flo, inflections, overall style. The only thing is the lyrics, a true artist's lyrics come from life experience and he will grow with it as do we all. With that said AK is 17, he is laying down amazing lyrics that would speak to me if I were 17-25 years old. I enjoy it, and listen alot, it's just that kinda been there done that for me on the lyrics part. Everything else reminds me of rap from yesteryear, man how I miss it. I commend AK on his talents and diligence. He is only going to climb higher and be more widely known. No hate to you AK keeping doing what you doing.

I thought everything was on point. I definitely agree with Ryan on this. I love the video, his style, and how entertaining it is. It kept me interested. Me, also speaking as a 30+ man, understands where you're coming from George, but you have to look at it from AK's point of view. This is everything that goes on in his life. Everything in his life that effects him personally. You have to listen and judge it for its purpose of entertainment. Not every rap song you're gonna relate to...especially from a 17 year old. He hasn't experienced a lot of the things we've experienced. You should just judge his songs by how it sounds and its entertainment value. Wait till he gets older before you judge by if you can relate to it. Other than that I've enjoyed watching both you guys on here. This is why your channel stands out from the rest of the "reaction crowd". You guys are like the Siskel and Ebert of music. You listen to the song, then you break down why you did or didn't like it. Ryan tends to judge the music from the audience's perspective and George tends to judge from the industry/artist's perspective. You guys have something real here. How can you make it bigger? Maybe do full albums in one sitting but spread out the videos over several days? Love what you're doing here. I'm hooked.
This video was made before he graduated from high school. He is know out and has more time to focus on polishing these productions. I personally think that he will get better now because he doesn't have something pulling his focus away from his art.

mb they have more deeper lyrics but their flow is complete shit dude. every single one of them not sound anything good like Austin`s flow. well Hopsin sounds allright, Kendrick is allright on 95 % of hes track and only 5 % is rly good. This kid drops shit every week and every single one of hes tracks sounds like something that i can lsten to all daylong. He is way ahead of them in the music aspect, melody and all that shit as well.< beside flow. Bit late to comment, but my opinon is that he has age on his side so he has plenty of time to improve, more things to experience that he can draw inspiration from, and he is at a point where he can go either two ways he can keep going the way he's going and eventually he become one of the top rappers there is, or he can fall in to the wrong crowd of 'rappers' and end up making 'good' songs with nothing to say, keeping with the sports comparison the most talented sports people had to have hard work and someone to coach them so I think if he keeps at it and try to keep the right kind of people around him that will help him grow he will definitely be one of the best. P.S love how you deconstruct songs and are completely unbiased keep it up

I agree with the Vegas guys. I have been listening to rap since rap's inception. AK is on point with everything as the beat, hook, tempo with flo, inflections, overall style. The only thing is the lyrics, a true artist's lyrics come from life experience and he will grow with it as do we all. With that said AK is 17, he is laying down amazing lyrics that would speak to me if I were 17-25 years old. I enjoy it, and listen alot, it's just that kinda been there done that for me on the lyrics part. Everything else reminds me of rap from yesteryear, man how I miss it. I commend AK on his talents and diligence. He is only going to climb higher and be more widely known. No hate to you AK keeping doing what you doing.

I thought everything was on point. I definitely agree with Ryan on this. I love the video, his style, and how entertaining it is. It kept me interested. Me, also speaking as a 30+ man, understands where you're coming from George, but you have to look at it from AK's point of view. This is everything that goes on in his life. Everything in his life that effects him personally. You have to listen and judge it for its purpose of entertainment. Not every rap song you're gonna relate to...especially from a 17 year old. He hasn't experienced a lot of the things we've experienced. You should just judge his songs by how it sounds and its entertainment value. Wait till he gets older before you judge by if you can relate to it. Other than that I've enjoyed watching both you guys on here. I love the fact that you guys discuss the video after you've watched it. Very entertaining.

Judge it like he's doing everything himself at home. If you dig into his channel farther, there's a ton of unbelievable lyrics, incredible technical skill, and messages that are way, way beyond his years. Watch more, you won't regret it.
