Lost In Vegas I agree it wasn't his best representation the part with the chop flow was right on tempo other parts of the song can get off but it wasn't trash that's an exaggeration it was a lil better then decent but not great. Trash is not that song trash is Tanner Fox.

I would have to strongly disagree with @Lost in Vegas. From a lyrical standpoint, I thought no sucka mcs by Token was nothing below average. Actually one of my favorite songs by him.

I think another problem is with Token is the age difference, a lot of material is high school mentality. But if you listen to his tracks more than once, there is a lot of punchlines, metaphors and wordplay that you missed. But for his age, the kid is talented. Im excited to see him when he has matured and improved a little more.

Would love to hear your opinions on Token - RUclips Rapper Feat Tech9ine. I think its probably one of the best representations of them both. You'll be pausing the vid more times than Lil Dicky, I promise. It also has like 10 million views. Definitely one you should add to the priority list, i reckon.

yeah i agree with your criticisms for sure. This freestyle is what really brought token into the light. Check out new problems and happiness. both are songs that have story telling/traditional song structure instead of freestyles.

Just saying, tokens best songs are mostly story feeling than they are straight bars. So if you want to listen to songs that are more of just a story such as Ross cappichioni, I'd listen to exception or new problems

I definitely feel that some of the corniness comes from the fact that he is still young. He may started out soon, but some of your voice can really just start to shine only when you have experience and a certain level of age under your belt, especially for the brand of hip-hop that Token is prescribing to.
