- This is a Virtual Tour from around Newport Rhode Island in Fall 2019. In the walking tour we start at the Landing where the Ferry from Providence drops off then walk over to Thames Street and explore some of the wharfs and the Newport downtown. The end of the video is the Cliff Walk on the other side of the shoreline and ends at the beach. Overall I do recommend visiting Newport Rhode Island!

Beautiful place to visit. I drove 34 hours from texas to finally meet my in laws and was here back in May. Its chilly at that time, i'm used to the heat. Younger crowds are usually in bars or seen later in the evening. Husband grew up here.

I have been going here for years, if you didn't do it this time, a tour of the Breakers mansion is a must. Cornelius Vanderbilt, former owner would have been worth 150 billion today's standards for his work with railroads. The summer time there is packed, you picked a slow season to go which i think it's better. Glad you enjoyed it!

There was this one specific corner store in Providence that I always used to go to with my brother, dad nd grandfather. I forget what its called but we'd go there every single day nd get the same stuff: 2 honey buns each, a bottle of chocolate milk, nd my dad nd grandfather would get coffee. I miss my childhood 😞😞 now I'm 18 nd been living in PA since i was 5.

Its a college town
Only college is the Naval War College. There's a satellite of CCRI, Roger Williams is not in Newport. Ok First Synagogue in the USA Providence has the First Baptist Church in the USA, possibly the world.
