I know Nux only more recently myself (few months) and only from his Nuxanor channel. I don't believe he's evil. From my understanding, he's chaotic and likes to shock people, almost as payback for being attacked a lot for many years (his metaphoric "battle scars"). But even in his older more unhinged content, he didn't do it to hurt anyone, he just intended to do things for shock value, and make fun of them simultaneously. He's very much like that now, so i can extrapolate to the past and imagime how his content was, from a younger and less "controled" Nux. But at the same time he's almost obnoxiously righteous, for example regarding any suggestion of stuff like cp. It's like the saying "do what i say, not what i do". He doesn't intend to be a role model, although it's hard to avoid being seem as one by young fans...
At the end of the day... sarcasm has never and will never be popular among young audiences, for obvious reasons, because they are young and will likely not take it as fake or jokes. But Nux is not a bad guy in any way, as far as I know. Online, he's a character created to shock others, that's basically it... Just look at his avatar 😅. By the way, i found recently an interview with him from Anthony Padilla, from a few years ago, which gives an inside into the person behind the mask!
Nux was good with Muta making that video, bc the thing that he worries about is that friends get hurt because of associating with him and his content choices. It was Mutahar who removed the video and apologized to Nux for making it, because he probably felt bad... Even though that's what audiences needed to see, so he should have left it up... But note that Nux was doing a podcast with Oompaville too until recently, and he defended Oompaville immediately after the mr beast interview. They are friends and Nux is very smart too. He knows his online personna doesn't match Muta's and Oompaville's vibes, so eventually they needed to distance their contents. But the reason why they like each other is more proof that people might be looking at Nux's character as more than a meme, ehich is not the person. And i know it's not always easy to separate, for many people of course...
I'll only say that if anyone wants to check out Nux, go to his Nuxanor channel, bc that's who he is today, without taking such stupid risks anymore, he's not a kid watching hentai on youtube now...

A small number of chronically online insane people (including Hasan) tried to "cancel" Mutahar over one of the dumbest controversies I have ever seen. Mutahar freaked out, because apparently things were building up over time, And then tried to save face by throwing Nux under the bus. The majority of people did not agree with Hasan & co.'s reasoning, so Muta was berated in his comments section for making a mountain out of a molehill and backstabbing a friend over a trivial matter. Mutahar doesn't genuinely believe what he was saying in his original video, so he deleted it when he realized people didn't agree with him. He then apologized to Nux. That's it.
By the logic of Hasan & the redditors, literally every single person that watches hentai is a pedophile, and to some extent almost everybody that watches anime in general. Unsurprisingly, most people don't agree with that take. Mutahar just had a bad day/week.

All of his content has been censored to not show anything unsuitable but people always have tried to cancel him and still is.
