awesome thanks for the tips.. my son was trying to do his club and struggling.. i told him it needed to be in a vise or something similar and then i remembered my black and decker workmate... worked like a charm and we had his club re-gripped in 5 minutes..
Hi. Thanks for the tips. Noticed you didn’t peel all the double sided tape off prior to installing. Ie you only peeled one half of the plastic tape off. Is this how it’s supposed to be done?
He started to remove the 2nd half but then, due to poor editing, he skipped past that part but both halves of the plastic tape need to be removed.
Thank you!! So what’s easier to use in your opinion? Using those strips that need to be peeled off exposing sticky glue? or the grip tape that looks like paper is intentionally left on the grip?
Got the midsize SS Traction Pro last week & really love the les weight vs rubber grips but is it possible to get standard size grip & build the size with several layers of tape. Before when I used rubber grips, I always had my grips built with 3layers of tape but wasn't sure if the same with SS grips & opted for the midsize instead. Please let me know if possible, thanks
Yes, You can build up any of our club grips using tape - even the PU club grips.
