Couldn't you use the smooth tool or the path eraser tool to smooth out the jagged edges, at least on the solid shadow? Then you could use the gradient tool to do the faded shadow, and you would still have the smooth lines.
Someone Tell me the solution for this, When I try to move the transformed object after the 3rd repeat the third one is moving alone and it doesn't look like his.
Hey! I just tried to make smooth shadow (the last one) but when I select 'make' in blend, I get smaller fish in between. Can somebody help to solve this problem. FYI my center fish is in the front and corner fish in the back and both are grouped. Please guide while you can
When you copy the first center fish with alt, make sure you're holding shift to get a perfect diagonal angle for the lower fish. This ensures the fish shapes are aligned for blending.
Each fish must be grouped together alone but not the two fish together. I had the same mistake and it turns out I grouped the two fish together instead of each one as a separate group. Try that and see if it helps!

I did it using Lines at and shape builder tools..Its hard to digest Jagged edges..
I can place images and Adobe file in my Adobe. Why? Can someone help me?
