Hi there, in this video we're going to do two things. We're going to take this colored image, and turn it into a black and white image. Then we're going to do some cool stuff with colors, and blending with the background. You can see a few different options there. Let's go do that now in Adobe Illustrator.

When you place the image at 0:56, I discovered you need to uncheck "link" in order to convert to greyscale

When I initially brought in the image I found I had to rasterize the photo before I could adjust the color of the image.

Duotones are fun to mix and match...like magenta and cyan, or a pms red and cyan...or pms oranges and greens.....or whatnot!!!

if anyone face issue of (grey scale) not working, its due to first you have to place image and after then click on (Embed) option, after that edit color setting appeared

'convert to grayscale' this option is not visible at edit-colors

I gave you a thumbs down....the most important thing other than the video is the audio....it is horrible on all your videos...you talk way to fast with poor diction into a low quality mic or one that isn't adjusted properly the volume is all over the place...one would need to start, stop and rewind constantly in order to get thru the nine minutes you have to be willing to spend 25 min just to understand what your saying
