Weighted One Arm Pull Up Session (+10 LBS)

  • I'm back at my favorite calisthenics park for my first outdoor 1 arm pull up session of the season. As you can see this place is a little sketchy with all the bullet holes in the sign, but it's relatively safe during the day. The goal of this session was to have the cleanest form I could doing a one arm pull up at my current body weight of 173 pounds. I am really happy with the results of my body weight one arm pull ups. In addition my goal was to do a one arm pull up with 10 pounds added and also have clean form. I am really happy with my performance on that as well. These are all Personal records when to consider form and a higher body weight than usual from all the winter and spring training. My goal is to do a clean one arm pull up with an added 15 or maybe even 20 pounds if I'm able to by the end of the summer as well as increase my body weight one arm pull ups to 4 or 5 reps in a row. I think these goals are achievable if my training and recovery goes as planned. Let me know what calisthenics or fitness goals you all have set for yourselves this summer.
