Every once in a while an artist just delivers a truly inspiring performance. Marty Casey's live cover version of Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" is one of those magical performances. It just has raw emotional energy and is also a strong vocal. I too miss the show.
The intensity that is inside of Marty shows in this beautiful song whis is wonderful and I can see it in his neck too - the vein on the side of his neck is protruding. Love passion & intensity in singers or anyone for that matter. Thank you for this video!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!
I couldn't agree more with you all, Marty Casey's version did Pink Floyd's version Proud! I love it! I wish I knew what happened to him. I really thought we would of herd more from him!
I liked JD, but was crushed that Marty didn't win. After this performance, I thought it was in the bag. Where is INXS now? Marty has a long and successful career ahead of him.
It's not necessarily that the wrong guy won. Marty was wrong for INXS, to me. It says nothing about how good he is, just he wasn't the right fit. I love that he's out there doing his thing with the Lovehammers, though.
The in house band was so awesome. Loved this show.
