The Hypervenom 2 are actually one of my favorites. Got a low-cut version of the boots in this video and the power they could generate when shooting the ball was incredible.
I was gonna comment and say, the hypervenom 2 was the most overhated cleat of all time. In terms of lockdown , durability, and comfort I thought they were great. Also softened up after some wear
i actually remember the Hypervenom 2 takedown model to be one of my all time favorite boots. But i also do remember, that they felt a lot different to the Phantoms (which i couldn't afford at the time) i'm not 100% sure if they actually used a softer material, but i don't remember it to be stiff at all
I hated the first Hypervenom. The 2nd was my all time favorite. I owned the phantom in the wolf grey colorway and the finnish in the green. Great boots.
I had blisters in vapors I, II and IV. Vapors III are one of my all time favorite boots. Never had any issues with them. Loved the cactus colorway and the zinc orange.
Gotta say great video. Only thing I would change or add as an “dis-honorable” mention would be the Magista Opus 2, when Nike again had to do what they did with the Hypervenom and make changes mid way through the boots lifecycle. They were not the most comfortable but also just looked HORRIBLE.
The 1st 3 superfly and the SL were works of Art …but good lord were they uncomfortable AF. I had a pair of SF3 and I could never wear them long enough to break them in. Beautiful boots though
Still look very fondly on the Vapor IIIs. They were my senior year cleats in zinc and orange. Wore them until the studs in the heel fell off at the end of freshman year in college 😢
I have three pairs of Hypervenom phinish 2s and I have to say in my opinion, they're a little over-hated, obviously it's all personal preference but I don't mind them at all.
never had a problem with the vapor superfly 1s or the mercurial 3's but then again ive been wearing mercurials since forever and they always fit perfectly out of the box. never had blisters. Vapor Superfly 1s were one of my fav boots.
Nike Phantom 2 aren’t to bad ! Very reliable, they outlasted every other boot I’ve bought. Phantom 2 have literally become my backup boots I keep them in my bag as a secondary. They are pretty stiff but if you got the correct size you should be fine.
It's interesting that the flywire didn't work. The american football cleats with flywire are still my favorite american football cleats, i still use a pair. But they arent as thin as soccer cleats, so blistering isn't an issue. The fit and lcokdown are fantastic
I knew so much in years that from football cleats POV they always thrive to released something new to boost the sale. But unlike Mizuno, they aim for drastic change that comes poorly
The phantom 2 was the first pair of boots I bought at full price, and man were they disappointing. I wore them for a few months playing through pain bc I wanted to get my money’s worth out of them, but I stopped wearing them eventually. I hate those things
Its pretty impressive that nike mercurial line didnt completely get scrapped as a silo after the failures of like 5 years in a row of total fail soccer boots…like 2006 to 2012 all their mercurials were god awful and didnt score a real winner until the vapor 8 …and even THEN those back studs were liable to snap in two lol
From my experience, I have been using the Vapor 4SL sg model for almost a year and I had blisters only the first time I put them on, until today I have no problem, but in fact the carbon has a slight crack after that time, as for the Superfly 1 which I have since the same time, but sole FG, I had no blisters considering the shoe was practically new. Both pairs used in training, matches and in the rain only on natural grass.
I had the Phantom 2’s in the pale green colourway and I absolutely loved the look of them, but my God it was like playing in a hard hollow shell. Then I got the Phinish v2 in the black colourway and the difference was unbelievable. Crazy to think they were basically the same boot altered by consequence
No sorry this video is wrong, the worst Nike boots are the takedown T90s (and other models I think) that would smell if cat piss after one use due to a manufacturing defect. They quietly had a product recall on it and the BBC even reported on it Had two pairs, they absolutely stank
That was multiple boots from Nike actually! Vapor 4 had that issue as well. Nike would replace those boots because of the smell through warranty if you contacted them
@@Soccerreviewsforyou yeah the Nike factory store I brought them to eventually took them back. I had a pair of the cheapest tiempo 8s that smelled so bad I thought they still had the same problem

Boots don't generate power.
It's a bit of fabric around your foot.
@@RegenTonnenEntefucken thank you 😂😂
I absolutely love the Hypervenom 2 and still wear them today lol
Same lol, idk if Josh actually wore them for a long period but mine softened up loads after time, had no issues with comfort at all
@@olivertanakarogersI absolutely love mine, moulded to my feet great and feel like a sock now I’ve broken them in
Same here
I was gonna comment and say, the hypervenom 2 was the most overhated cleat of all time. In terms of lockdown , durability, and comfort I thought they were great. Also softened up after some wear
My hypervenom broke 4month ago but if you want boot feel like hypervenom buy puma future 1.6 or 1.5 absolutely feel same!!

Phatal DFs weren’t that bad to be honest
@@teamgeist3328 Phatal low-cut, so the ones below the most expensive ones

LOVE this type of video! Such a great list too - Mercs of the past 😅
🐐
The superfly 1 today still stuns me. It’s an absolutely beautiful football boot
I had blisters in vapors I, II and IV. Vapors III are one of my all time favorite boots. Never had any issues with them. Loved the cactus colorway and the zinc orange.

My Hpervenoms were so crap they literally broke in a couple of weeks, I never had a boot be that low in quality
Still look very fondly on the Vapor IIIs. They were my senior year cleats in zinc and orange. Wore them until the studs in the heel fell off at the end of freshman year in college 😢
the hypervenom was my favorite for the longest time, but opinions cans surely vary
I hated the hypervenom 2 so much, horrible follow up.
Great video joshino
I have three pairs of Hypervenom phinish 2s and I have to say in my opinion, they're a little over-hated, obviously it's all personal preference but I don't mind them at all.

Vapor Superfly 1s were one of my fav boots.
You’ve been blessed with narrow feet 😂
Nike Phantom 2 aren’t to bad !

not capping the hypervenom 2 was the most comfortable boot i’ve ever had and the best boot i’ve ever had
Those Hyper venom phinish were perfect for me 😭😭 loved the color way and the boot

It definitely worked! Unfortunately it just made the upper way too stiff and rigid for how tight the boots fit
I always HATED mercurials, but the vapor iii were the only ones i tolerated. Having it at #2 is nuts.
The Hypervenom 2 was an amazing indoor shoe though
Now a top 5 Best of all time from Nike would be an awesome video
i hate the knit collar on all football boots these days. absolute garbage lockdown and stability, literally unwearable without grips. utter shite.
Nike phantom GT elite is definitely up there with the worst boots ever made.
Make the 5 best Nike football boots also Josiah bro. Thanx.
I scored 30 goals the season I played in hypervenom 2 takedown models. One of my favs tbh.
My feet hurt just looking at the hypervenom 2. Those are the most uncomfortable shoes (not just footbal boots) ever made.
yo are you going to review the puma future match, the version with laces?
Its pretty impressive that nike mercurial line didnt completely get scrapped as a silo after the failures of like 5 years in a row of total fail soccer boots…like 2006 to 2012 all their mercurials were god awful and didnt score a real winner until the vapor 8 …and even THEN those back studs were liable to snap in two lol
The vapor iv is my second favorite aestically. Vapor iii all time fave
Call me crazy.... but the Nike GS is my fav cleat of all time. Once the upper softened, they fit my foot to perfection
That hypervenom upper was like plastic but if you wore them a while they softened
My heel got ripped wearing the mizuno alpha due to how grippy and locked in the heel is
Does anyone know when the Nike United Phantom GX is coming out?
vapor 4 is a blister machine
The way you expressed #2 is super funny haha
I had the superfly 2 SG and wow they were so uncomfortable and never improved with wear, cool boot though
I bought Hypervenom high cuts and sold them about a month later.. so bad.
The HV2 was so bad, especially coming from the complete opposite in the HV1 which was a GOATed boot. No idea what Nike was thinking
The vapor 4s were my go to, I would score screamers in high school. I loved them and got NO BLISTERS 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
The mercurial 3 is the most gorgeous football boot ever made.
I wish Nike brought back the OG hypervenom phantom 1
From my experience, I have been using the Vapor 4SL sg model for almost a year and I had blisters only the first time I put them on, until today I have no problem, but in fact the carbon has a slight crack after that time, as for the Superfly 1 which I have since the same time, but sole FG, I had no blisters considering the shoe was practically new.

bro get the hypervenoms off this list
Josh tell us how you really feel about the mercurial line!😂😂
Any football boot that LOOKS flimsy and thin as hell will FEEL flimsy and thin!!! That shiny material just LOOKS uncomfortable!!
Almost all speed boots looked plastici and cheap in that time
Does anyone still wear the old superflys like the 4s and so on? (My favorite are the 4s)
me :D
Hi, could please recommend some nice artificial grass boots, preferably leather 😊
I’m looking for a boot that feels like a magista obra 1 or 2 that I can buy in an AG variant. Any suggestions?
But I think the hypervenom 2 was one of the memorable boots of all time
Wow, there are boots that are worse than the Predator Edge.
those boots are impossible to kick in they are shaped like a fridge
All these worse boots are during my crazy playing days...ive tested them all and yes, they are pretty awful, but the hype was there 😂
okayyyy my boy josh is rocking a Pepsi
i wonder how the pro still wear it through half of the season.. custom boots much comfortable?
Hypervenom 1s are still the GOAt, the 2 was absolute trash
Hey man
What happened to the car channel?
Does the goat respond
I had the Phantom 2’s in the pale green colourway and I absolutely loved the look of them, but my God it was like playing in a hard hollow shell. Add the Legend 10 to the list. 😂 🤮
