Another advantage with Sparkle is that even if your dps isn't very skill point hungry, you can run supports that need skill points more comfortably. And you could also use their skills more often to get their ults faster (for instance Tingyun or Huo Huo).
one key thing about sparkle is that she not only has the SP mechanic but also the advance forward, similar to bronya, that's a very valuable thing to have, even if your DPS isn't SP hungry like qingque or imbibitor

No hate to sparkle she’s amazing but if you take away the SP bit of her kit she can’t compete with 100% AF and her Team wide buffs aren’t on par with RM and Robin as well.

Sure her team wide buff are not on par with either ruan mei or robin because she's specialize in hypercarry team comp. She's fell off currently because the current meta favour superbreak which ruan mei super strong with break effect buff and break weakness efficiency and follow up team which robin buff benefits dual dps and fua damage boost. We dont have a strong e0 dps that can utilize sparkle buff, the only close one is e2 acheron. If you doing damage per cycle of e2 acheron with sparkle and ruan mei, sparkle will top ruan mei in damage per cycle no doubt

And idk why your bringing up Acheron here because then it’s worse lol at E0S1 Pela + Jia is on par with E2 + Sparkle and if your useing E2 Acheron welp Robin + Jia is the way too go as well so yet again she’s falling off another team.

its more of the fact that lingsha's a 5 star and Gal is a 4 star so the logic is "Why tf should i pull for a 5 star that is an equivalent to a 4 star?"
The main reason behind the Lingsha situation is that the line between her and Gallagher is very blurry. It's hard to tell if she's objectively better than him or not. Many people are even saying that Gallagher is STILL better for a E0 Firefly because of his SP positivity. SP is a big deal for E0 Firefly break teams and Gallagher enables HMC to use skill every turn which means more DPS. Hell, I don't even want Lingsha. If I wasn't saving for Feixiao, I would have summoned for Lingsha's sig LC and gave it to Gallagher.
Truth is... Hoyoverse were always about waifus ever since GGZ. So don't be surprised if male characters are falling off rather quickly comparing to females. However, my prejudice could be wrong later on, who knows
Thanks for the lucid analysis. I started playing in 2.3 and the decision field for a new player is brutal. Yunli is an attractive versatile DPS, but her needing her light cone to shine is kind of a deal breaker for a low spender such as myself. Building a 4-star healer just for her feels bad. I am leaning towards pulling JQ myself. I am interested in DOT, and it seems like we'll have a Black Swan rerun before too long. I like his kit as a versatile debuffer containing synergies that the game seems to have not yet fully explored. And Acheron may rerun sooner rather than later so I would be positioned well for that. JQ doesn't seem like a no-brainer choice for me as a new player, but I think he offers enough both presently and in terms of future possibility that I don't mind taking the risk. Even if he is not the optimal character to support a given team, I feel as though his debuffing will make him a flexible unit to use on my young account.
I'll say one thing that wasn't mentioned in this video, it's that Jiaoqiu aside from Acheron and dot teams he also performs extremely well in the ratio follow up comp as a sidegrade to topaz, it surprised me even. His functionality is comparable if not superior sometimes, because of his abundance of debuffs and uptime, along with the vulnerability he can inflict on enemies which is a very valuable and rare debuff. The fact that he as a nihility unit can be relevant in 3 archetypes at least says a lot, and his future value will continue to spike if we get more Acheron-like dpses that stack with debuffs, just like how you said Sparkle would have more value in the future with more Imbibitor Lunae type dpses
@@cozzmo4186from what I've seen, the damage difference isn't super big if you're just looking at multipliers at e0, but there is a big argument for debuff uptime pela debuff doesn't last for long, if you kill then it goes away, and you have to wait for her to get ult again jiaoqiu debuff lasts basically forever, if you kill the debuff stacks transfer, and the field uptime is 100% you should do your own investigation though

Well i happen to be having all 3 harmonies and what i can say is when you have all those 3 the use of sparkle is only gonna be in dhil and seele team. ruan mei is for break/dot and followup is gonna be robin, even in JL and acheron robin can be better well you can argue with this one While jq in other hand is gonna be an upgrade for ratio, acheron and even can be a side grade of ruan mei in dot team, he's basically an upgrade of our current debuffer I'd pick jq over sparkle is because i use ratio acheron and dot more often than dhil and seele team and if you were dhil and seele mains then sparkle is gonna be an perfect pick while sparkle kit is awesome but she doesn't have like many or OP dps to be need her in their BiS team. previously she is BiS for a follow up team but robin took her place, that sad tbh

I'm glad I already have Sparkle, but the analysis of future value is a really good confirmation for me that vertical investment in her (i.e. getting her LC) is not the move for me right now. It's kinda sad that Sparkle released so far into the game that her main meta niches (hypercarry, mono quantum) were already on their way out. AND she barely got to do anything in Penacony... Gonna need a Masked Fools story arc, Hoyo.
I'll go with Jiaoqu cause I have a dedicated DOT team with Kafka and BS and Acheron for hupercarry roles. Although my Acheron has cracked stats I still need him to battery my eos1 girl faster. At first I was gonna skip him for feixiao but then I realized that would have been the greatest mistake cause I don't have fua units cause I more of a break and Dot enjoyer.

Same, I have similar situation in my second account that needs jiaoqiu more than feixiao. I like break like firefly (too dumb I didn't pull ruan mei first because I lose 50/50) and DoT, and I think pull jiaoqiu is the most reasonable for my account. In my main account, I have acheron E0S1 but I don't feel joy to play because I lacked more suitable debuffer for her (I use welt and pela). Also I already enough with Dan Heng IL and Firefly to carry my account (I don't usually like to pull dps for character I like prespectively beside blade and dan heng il, but somehow needing dps character to pull if I have good support that accomodating the dps itself) and I don't have robin, so I rather pull jiaoqiu (if blade isn't rerun)

both jiaoqiu and lingsha is way better than their 4 star counterparts. But the 4 stars do well themselves. The question is if you want the upgrade or not..if you're not satisfied then yeah pull
jiaoqiu is far ahead e6 gui and like 20% ish better than pela. the suggestion is to run him next to pela ( or sw ) so that u can both get vul and def shred which is better then stacking only vul or def shred
I guess I am still pulling jiaoqiu as my pela is not E4. Need more stacks generation for Acheron. Read it helps her in pure fiction too so may be a solution to get the 3 stars clear.
If this is the new Banner than that's honestly a relief. I thought it was gonna be a choice between Jiaoqiu or Black Swan. I have Black Swan at E0S0, but my Sparkle is E2S1, so our little Elation Pathstrider isn't really a priority to me.

Definitely Sparkle. Sparkle can run in both Acheron and DHIL team while JQ is stuck in Acheron team. You're a F2P so you should prioritize efficiency. Sparkle is way more versatile than him. And ngl, your Acheron team is already very good. Maybe replace SW with Pela and then you're set. JQ will definitely be a huge upgrade for your Acheron but imo as a F2P player you should be careful with your Jades. If you want to upgrade your Acheron team I'm not gonna stop you tho because JQ is still a very good pull. Just lower value for F2P players.

I only have e0s0 Robin and tbh she’s not on the same level people make it seem, until e1 and/or s1 she feels meh in anything outside fua compared to other harmony with equal investment, Ruan mei overall is more universal and currently on top in terms of team performance
@@Marz333 I thought I was the only one I've tried out Robin on multiple occasions and she just seems meh to me the only thing that sticks out is her advance forwarding the whole team on ult but if I need to pull a harmony characters E1 to E2 to say she's busted or notice significant changes I'm better off skipping completely

I've learned my lessons! From now on, I'm building a team AROUND A SUPPORT character not the other way around. Therefore if I pull for Sparkle then I need either Dhil E1S1 or Acheron E2S1 as the main dps. Then I'll build other supports for them But since I did A LOT of blunders by pulling more DPS, I had to sadly abandon them since they were easily replaced anyway. Then maybe building a team around Robin that I recently got and RM woukd be perfect for the long-term? Superbreak team seems to be relatively cheap atm needing only one limited 5 star to work quite decently. But Acheron team is still in the grey since she's E0S1...
I think you forgot biggest the thing about sparkle, her crit buff going to be the biggest difference maker if we move to a solo dps meta again witch is very much possible
This video further confirms my believe that pulling for sparkle is generally too niche, yes she is strong in a sp hungry hyper carry teams but i personally dont have other characters that are really sp hungry.
Sparkle is great if you need the skill points and can benefit from a cd increase and advance action forward. I own Sparkle and her signature LC, but I would recommend Ruan Mei over Sparkle in a heartbeat. Ruan Mei provides weakness break efficiency, speed, dmg boost, res pen, so on and so forth.
Only reason I'm planning to pull JQ is I hope he can drop a lot of debuff procs for acheron.. i plan to give him tutorial and run him along side sweaty pela. As for sparkle i have her, but plan to get her lc this time to run with yunli as a hypercarry.
Nice, same for me. I'm going for sparkle's lightcone (I use her with DHIL mostly), and Jiaoqui for Acheron. I'm sad I don't have that tutorial lightcone... didn't start playing the game until this year. I'm hoping solitary healing works ok since it has energy refund.
As someone who’s stuck with Guin on my Acheron team I’m kind of forced to pull him lol. If I had Robin I’d abandon my Acheron for Feixo but because I wanted FF more welp here I am rip me lol….
I just realised most of the new 5* units are compared to their best teams (calculated with all the 5 star units), but overall people doesnt really think what kind of team they can be good other than that. Like DoT can be an extra damage (like he is a sub dps) while debuffing enemies + buffing teammates ultimate. Like people using Pela a lot, because of the debuffs, but Jiaoqiu's are vulnerability, which is the better one + he has extra values. Also I dont really like in an Argenti team you basically have to buff Argenti as much as possible, to deal some damage and he is useless in MoC (or atleast I dont like to play like that) so I was thinking to try an Argenti(or Xueyi, cuz why not) - Jiaoqiu team. I like his kit, he got nerfed and was better before but he is still good, obviously gonna be nice next to my Acheron but yeah.
Started playing today, stil overwhelmed by the amount of characters and worrying about who to get, really enjoys these kinds of videos as a bit of help.
Always get latest. Fexiao, lingsha, and if you can then get robin. As a beginner you don’t need robin, but you can save on the side for her rerun. Ruan mei is another to keep an eye on. Most importantly, have fun! It took me 8 months to casually clear all content so don’t stress too much. I absolutely recommend the 5 dollar monthly pass if you can afford, it will give you breathing room to plan character pulls.
I really needed this video. I currently main Acheron but her team isn’t complete so l’m counting down the days to pull for Jiaoqiu. However, I love Sparkle and I listen to monodrama almost every week.. so I may pull for her too. Although, I already have Robin and Ruan mei. This is as result of knowing that Sparkle may not come back in the near future, yet I’d hate to bench her as I don’t have a hypercarry team. Lastly, I could do a weird mono quantum with Xueyi, Jade and Fu Xuan 😅
thanks for the commentary eod! me watching when I have e2 sparkle lol (accidentally, her e1 came in the next 10 pull while I was chasing qq and sampo eidolons and I decided to go for broke). she makes my qq mono quantum team go brrr and occasionally I do ratio hyper carry but it doesn’t feel strong like his premium fua team. I also don’t have 2 good teams for pure fiction so I just throw sparkle in with clara or someone else on one side with himeko + herta on the other side, and she works fine. robin is obviously better in many situations but sparkle works fine for my needs I’ll also say that as a f2p, it’s easy to invest into hyper carry teams. the ratio aven topaz robin team is strong and seems fun to play but that’s 3 limited 5 stars (4 limited if you didn’t log in for ratio lol). I think I’ll still try to get robin because she’s great and I like her. but I don’t think I’ll be able to use her to her full potential because I don’t have any dual dps teams at the moment. but it can’t hurt to have the trifecta of limited harmony characters (sparkle robin and rm)

I appreciate you bringing up the waifu factor. Since Jiaoqiu isn’t a waifu I think he’s more likely to be pushed out eventually. Hoyo is going to try that with Gallagher and Lingsha next patch so we’ll see how that shakes out to determine if Hoyo might try that again (I have a hunch that Gallagher with Lingsha’s light cone is going to be the more popular pull). Since Jiaoqiu is a five star though I doubt he will be directly power crept like Gallagher, but I think some kind of sidegrade or direct Pela upgrade might be likely that could make Pela/New Waifu/Acheron comps more preferable. Personally speaking, if he didn’t share a VA with Kazuha I wouldn’t be pulling at all, and to be honest I’m still on the fence. If I lose the 50/50 I might just cut my losses and wait for a new waifu.
I'm the Husbando player who has no Acheron or DOT units to play Jiaoqiu with. 😭 I really want to fulfill my commitment, but I'm really not sure how I'm going to utilise him...
There's also another thing to consider with Jiaqiou since DPS nowadays tend to have a lot of self buffs. Harmony buffs starts to get some diminishing returns. But nihility debuffers however wouldn't face the same issue and they can still "buff" the entire team's DMG. The only downside being if the enemy bas high effect res or is way too fast (like SU or DU bosses) Imo even in other teams Jiaqiou can perform really well especially if the main DPS already has a lot of self buffs in their kit and he's in a dual DPS team where there's 2 DPS like Ratio Topaz or even Jingliu Blade teams

As FTP, I do have Acheron(Plus her signature lightcone) and Black Swan. I'm not sure if Jiaoqiu is needed. His kit is very specific and 2.5 is coming soon. I think I would be more interested to see what his signature lightcone does at this point since lightcones can be used with 4 star characters.
for me, u should get jq cause hes the first nihility all rounded support but sparkle theres tingyun, robin, ruan mei, bronya, tingyun and even future sunday who ngl is either going to powercreep everyone maybe besides ruan mei or flop and anger hsr fans. 😅 if you have 2 5 star limited harmonies, skip and wait for sunday or tingyun possibly, bronya and limited, possibly pulll but sparkle is a decent upgrade to bronya, but ngl not worth it if sunday and tingyun is next. if you have 1 or none, go for sparkle.
Basically, all Spatkle buffs are too generic. Every strong dps right now got a lot of crit dmg and dmg% themself. While on the other hand, Jiao vuln is very rare, so it hardly get disminishing return
@@cleod7439 There are a lot of character who got crazy amount of self buff tho. Jade have over 100% crit dmg, Yunli got 100% crit dmg, Archeron got 90% dmg bonus, Dhil got tons of dmg% and crit dmg, Topaz also got crit dmg bonus. With that being said, Sparkle 100% crit dmg and 48% dmg buff get disminishing too easy
My personal opinion on what you should pull based on the characters you currently have or want in the future. Sparkle if you have/want to have: -E2 Acheron -E0 Imbibitor Lunae -E0 Firefly -FuA Team such as Dr. Ratio/Topaz/Blade (or just wait for Robin, who is a lot more niche) Jiaoqiu if: -E0 Acheron -DoT Team (Kafka/Black Swan)
I'll probably get him in a rerun since I kinda want him solely for Acheron team. But Acheron is so damn strong that I don't any reason to pull him instantly for a little bit of upgrade
Sparkle will get more value in the future if they make a character that is just like IL, but that also makes her a nicher unit than that of RM and Robin cause they have a certain teamcomp that they perform REALLY good in and can also be put into any team comp and still do really good unlike Sparkle who's buffs can't really do much in the current meta right now. Jiaoqiu on the other hand is very future proof because of his debuffs and buffs that he can do, he is TBIS in Acheron teams, he can also perform well in other DPS teams, and he can also be used in DoT teams because of the buffs that he gives, as time goes on, he'll definitely be the RM of Nihility because of all the things that he brings to the team. In my opinion, you should go for Jiaoqiu as of now, because Sparkle isn't really wanted in the current meta right now. Yes, she is a very good unit but Robin and RM outperforms her in terms of buffing, damaging, and flexibility in team comps.
Perhaps I missed it, but I am surprised that Jioaqiu's synergy with Dr. Ratio wasn't highlighted. Dr. Ratio's damage is dependent on the number of debuffs the enemy has, and for someone like Jioaqui who adds a lot of debuffs and increases damage, in theory they wold be really good together.
JQ looks like a fine addition to the nihility crew, but my roster is at a point where I can't justify pulling for characters that don't either give me a whole new team avenue, or drastically improve my existing teams.
Jiaoqiu being a perfect dedicated support for "ONLY" Acheron and can be work in DoT team if have him E2 (but please for god sake, dont) Sparkle being a perfect support for mostly hypercarry, basically work with every DPS in the game and being the only massive skillpoint generator in the end, go for Jiaoqiu if you are an Acheron main or a big Acheron enjoyer, go for Sparkle if you want a strong support that can boost your favorite DPS and be comfortable in skillpoint management
Sparkle is the weakest harmony from the three 5 star harmony character, nowadays. I don't even have Robin, and Sparkle just isn't used outside QQ, monoquantum or DIL cos even 4 star harmony or nihility are better than her. Sparkle WAS huge when she came out. She fell off, hard. And like Jiaoqiu is nowadays only worth it if you play specific niches.
I have e2 Acheron and I’m f2p my current team is Acheron, Aventurine, Pela, and my flex Kafka but I don’t know if I should get jiaoqiu or sparkle or just skip for a future character.
From what I know, Jiaoqiu is comparable to Sparkle for E2 S1 Acheron. Though since you don't seem to have other teams to utilize Sparkle, I would say probably go for Jiaoqiu. He can also be used in DoT in case you aren't using Acheron or Break with Firefly if you don't have Ruan Mei. As for Black Swan or Lingsha, Swan is more important for the DoT team than Lingsha currently is for Break teams. If you have Gallagher built, he should do well enough to where you don't need to Lingsha. I did hear that Black Swan might have a rerun next patch, so it could be hard to get both Jiaoqiu and Swan especially if they are back to back, but with your account I think it's correct. After that would be Ruan Mei if you don't have her already.
You do want a Harmony for E2 Acheron since you only need 1 NIhility, so I'd say in your case you can pull Sparkle. Though Bronya is sufficient alternative, but much less SP Comfy then Sparkle. I don't understand why you'd run Kafka over a Harmony when your Acheron's E2, unless you want more stacks.
Honestly as much as sparkle is a good pick she doesn't compare to ruan mei and robin for their respective teams and she is only really best with qingque and dan heng IL. As for jaoqiu uh to be completely honest jaoqiu is probably going to be a good pull if you don't have sw for acheron although vulnerability debuff looks to be good I just can't say she'll be very good on release also dot comps seem to favor robin and ruan mei as their 3rd slot.
Even though Nihility is my favorite type, not sure if I want to spend all my gem in another Nihility... Although.... boosting Acheron even more sounds nice....

Pulled Sparkle and she has been sitting on my bench ever since. My only hyper carry is Seele... I normally play DOT (and now Firefly superbreak as team 2). I literally only pull her out when i am hunting trotters (though, she is GREAT for hunting trotters!)
As someone with a E6S1 Sparkle, I don't need anymore copies of her, and her Value at E0 Isn't the greatest, She's still good in any team that doesn't prefer Bronya's 100% AV/SP negative/Hypercarry teams, and you can make her work in most teams unless it's a non crit unit like Boothill/A unit that prefers Bronya's 100% AV/or Fast units with the Exception of Seele. Though one can argue that Bronya/Robin can be sufficent/> for any team I say you can make Sparkle work in. As for Jiaoqiu, I have E2S1 Acheron, and with her team consisting of E6S1 Sparkle/E6S1 (Incessant rain) Pela & E1S1 Aventurine, and while I'd probably notice a difference with Acheron's ULT Dps per screenshot and a bit of a difference with her Ult frequency, Though for Me, other then Acheron/DOT, I don't know if I see myself using him over my Sparkle/Robin/RM/Bronya/Tingyun/HMC in the teams I use them in. Though that being said, Vulnerability is quite rare and would be nice to have and Jiaoqiu has mad uptime. Though I may skip him for now,, and see how he evolves to see how Valueable he is for a Rerun.
Sadly I got two whale for both of them because I couldn’t get sparkle on her first banner and my ILD got benched cause I couldn’t get her but jao jao is my second favorite character best support Acheron and both of there LC are good
I've been thinking Who's better for DoT teams? Jiaoqiu or Black Swan? I'm in confusion about who to pull, because I don't have Acheron but have Kafka, and from what I've heard Black Swan rerun is on the horizon. Also don't have Ruan Mei (lost 50/50 on Bronya E1)

just go with Robin. As he said, if you don't have Acheron or DoT team his value isn't really that high. If your account is built for Hypercarry or Follow-up then Robin is a very good choice- especially for follow up.

If you have two competent teams and wants to increase Acheron strength. Jiaoqiu will be the answer. BUT if you feel like your second team is not solid enough or in need of new main DPS, Feixiao seems better.

Sparkle's value has gone down due to meta shift. Hyper carry teams are no longer the dominant team comps which Sparkle excels at and having more attack frequencies is more important than ever. Bronya might aged better as more units like Boothill appreciates having Bronya more. Sparkle still provides better comfort for skill points usage though nowadays, it isn't as needed. Team dmg seems to matter more now which is why Robin has been popping up in more teams. Like for Acheron's case, her best team for e0 and above is now with Jiaoqiu and Robin since both have good personal dmg that can contribute to team's dmg.
While Acheron does still play as a hyper carry, she also has a bit more team dmg with Jiaoqiu and Robin. And sparkle does not compete with Jiaoqiu of providing stacks, especially at e0. Robin is better than Sparkle for e0 Acheron + Jiaoqiu. Even at e2, Robin is still better in terms of low cycle clears. 100% av forward to everyone is broken.
it would be safe to assume that Jiaoqiu would perform better than Sparkle in my Acheron team consisting of Acheron herself, Gallagher and Pela so I will absolutely be getting him.
For Lunae. Sparkle gives whole lot more crit dmg than Bronya and skill points. If you feel like your DPS is getting too low or you want some more skill points. She is a good pick. Oh and her passive buff works with FuXuan too.
Basically, it's not. If you have sparkle, E0S1 DHIL is lot better to crit if you have sparkle also sp positive for him. I use E1S0 Sparkle and DHIL E2S1 is lot consistent damage but somehow kinda tricky for gameplay ways. And also synergy to fu xuan too. Adding more atk in sparkle's passive due to fu xuan. And fu xuan adds 11% crit rate to DHIL...
Pull what you want But meta-wise both skippable They don’t have enough value at least for me Jiaoqiu : - If your Acheron E0S0 better save for Acheron re-run - Pela+Eagle set good enough for me - DOT need specific support not him Sparkle : - You can use Bronya - Ruan Mei, Robin, HMC, etc
E0S1 Acheron+Jiaoqiu clear in the same cycle as E2 Acheron+sparkle so just saving for her E2 isn't better. He's also comparable to rm and Robin on dot teams and he's good for Ratio. As for sparkle she only truly shines with characters like DHIL, seele and qq but we will have future DPS that abuse the sp mechanic for sure. Sparkle is an investment into the future and Jiaoqiu makes one of the strongest teams even better (and fucking broken in pf with the Herta LC)
Sparkle is literally the only unit in the game that can give you huge amounts of skill points and overcap it and for a game that revolves around having skill points to win she seems pretty valuable to me but no people like to down play characters that were released few banners ago is crazy

I'm getting even more confused as to who to pull so would really appreciate some suggestions here... I have Acheron E0S1 (usually run her with Pela E6, SW E1S0 (s5 before tutorial mission), Avent E0S0 (trend). I also have IL E2S1..and Bronya E2S0. I have guarantee so originally I was going for Sparkle first then maybe JQ or BS (if she reruns next patch), but now I'm wondering if I should forgo Sparkle and just go for JQ instead? Btw I'm also planning to get robin E0S1 on her rerun, and maybe Acheron E2 on her rerun too (hoping she reruns 2.6 or later though). Or should I just go for Sparkle's LC (for Bronya)? While I do personally want to pull Jaioqiu, I just wanna prioritize sparkle first as it is her rerun and I've been DESPERATE to get her... Plus jaioqiu will get his rerun in 3-4 months compared to maybe 5-6 possible months for sparkle (Seele just come back please 🙏)
Definitely Sparkle. At E2, Jiaoqiu is still good but definitely can be replaced by Pela. Once you experienced Sparkle's 7 skill point cap you can never go back. You can spam skill all you want and you'll never run out of it lmao.
Would love to get people’s opinions for my account and who to pull, or if I skip. I have E0S1 Acheron. I run her with E6 Pela on S4 Pearls and E0 Silver Wolf with S5 Tutorial. If you really wanna pull for E2 Acheron. Sparkle is better if you can make her 160 spd and Acheron uses atk boot. Jiaoqiu is good for constant debuff but that could be solved with Silver Wolf/Pela with 160 spd.

Keep in mind that he is kinda niche though. So far, Jiaoqiu's debuff aura is only good for Acheron team or extremely fast enemies. Outside of that, he is just okay-ish. Even so, 2.4 and 2.5 will be his playground so he is absolutely worth the investment. Sparkle on the other hand has fallen down in recent usage due to the lack of crit/sp buff in moc. Dw, she still does her job perfectly, including providing sp and advance forward. When the buff favors her, she will be BiS. Welp I don't know what Hoyoverse has in store for 2.6 or 3.0 though. It could be Jiaoqiu won't be niche anymore, or he will be forgotten. No idea tbh.

E0 Acheron will love to work with JiaoQiu so yeh go for him. Sparkle or Robin, who is more future proof. Tbh no idea, people used say JL and DHIL cannot be powercrepted. If in the future, they release crit dps then Sparkle is favored; same with Robin, more FuA DPS then Robin is favored. Or new Harmony that can do better than them. Robin will go well with Acheron E0, JiaoQiu, Aventurine though.

Best team mates for sparkle are hypercarry, or high SP needs teams. Example, imbibitor, jingyuang, ratio as hypercarry, bronya+sparkle combo, argenti, acheron (with her light cone sparkle+pela is better than most debuffers), decent with Yunli and clara, decent with jingliu and blade. Those are the most relevant teams and teammates that get improve by sparkle.

Pela. The stack of def from Pela + vulnerability from jiaoqui is still the best combo. (But not for much, i would stick to black swan if you have her already)

Jq are very NICHE char. DOT team didnt want 1 more SP- teammate and u cant replace BS/Kafka. The only way to utilize him are Acheron team , but do you need him if you have SW/Pela/Guina? Even more if u are E2 acheron enjoyer Sparkle will outstand him. On other hand Hanabi are strong mid/high support who always be good for FUA/Hypercarry teams

Another advantage with Sparkle is that even if your dps isn't very skill point hungry, you can run supports that need skill points more comfortably. And you could also use their skills more often to get their ults faster (for instance Tingyun or Huo Huo).

We dont have a strong e0 dps that can utilize sparkle buff, the only close one is e2 acheron. If you doing damage per cycle of e2 acheron with sparkle and ruan mei, sparkle will top ruan mei in damage per cycle no doubt

And her AoE buff is the worse of the 3 easily and unlike the other 2 who have dedicated teams Sparkle is stuck with DHIl and the Mono Quantum which both aren’t currently relevant.

its more of the fact that lingsha's a 5 star and Gal is a 4 star so the logic is "Why tf should i pull for a 5 star that is an equivalent to a 4 star?"
The main reason behind the Lingsha situation is that the line between her and Gallagher is very blurry. It's hard to tell if she's objectively better than him or not. Many people are even saying that Gallagher is STILL better for a E0 Firefly because of his SP positivity. SP is a big deal for E0 Firefly break teams and Gallagher enables HMC to use skill every turn which means more DPS. Hell, I don't even want Lingsha. If I wasn't saving for Feixiao, I would have summoned for Lingsha's sig LC and gave it to Gallagher.

I started playing in 2.3 and the decision field for a new player is brutal. Yunli is an attractive versatile DPS, but her needing her light cone to shine is kind of a deal breaker for a low spender such as myself. Building a 4-star healer just for her feels bad.
I am leaning towards pulling JQ myself. I am interested in DOT, and it seems like we'll have a Black Swan rerun before too long. I like his kit as a versatile debuffer containing synergies that the game seems to have not yet fully explored. And Acheron may rerun sooner rather than later so I would be positioned well for that. JQ doesn't seem like a no-brainer choice for me as a new player, but I think he offers enough both presently and in terms of future possibility that I don't mind taking the risk. Even if he is not the optimal character to support a given team, I feel as though his debuffing will make him a flexible unit to use on my young account.
I'll say one thing that wasn't mentioned in this video, it's that Jiaoqiu aside from Acheron and dot teams he also performs extremely well in the ratio follow up comp as a sidegrade to topaz, it surprised me even. His functionality is comparable if not superior sometimes, because of his abundance of debuffs and uptime, along with the vulnerability he can inflict on enemies which is a very valuable and rare debuff.
The fact that he as a nihility unit can be relevant in 3 archetypes at least says a lot, and his future value will continue to spike if we get more Acheron-like dpses that stack with debuffs, just like how you said Sparkle would have more value in the future with more Imbibitor Lunae type dpses

@@cozzmo4186from what I've seen, the damage difference isn't super big if you're just looking at multipliers at e0, but there is a big argument for debuff uptime
pela debuff doesn't last for long, if you kill then it goes away, and you have to wait for her to get ult again
jiaoqiu debuff lasts basically forever, if you kill the debuff stacks transfer, and the field uptime is 100%
you should do your own investigation though

Well i happen to be having all 3 harmonies and what i can say is when you have all those 3 the use of sparkle is only gonna be in dhil and seele team. ruan mei is for break/dot and followup is gonna be robin, even in JL and acheron robin can be better well you can argue with this one
While jq in other hand is gonna be an upgrade for ratio, acheron and even can be a side grade of ruan mei in dot team, he's basically an upgrade of our current debuffer
I'd pick jq over sparkle is because i use ratio acheron and dot more often than dhil and seele team and if you were dhil and seele mains then sparkle is gonna be an perfect pick
while sparkle kit is awesome but she doesn't have like many or OP dps to be need her in their BiS team. previously she is BiS for a follow up team but robin took her place, that sad tbh

I'm glad I already have Sparkle, but the analysis of future value is a really good confirmation for me that vertical investment in her (i.e. getting her LC) is not the move for me right now. It's kinda sad that Sparkle released so far into the game that her main meta niches (hypercarry, mono quantum) were already on their way out. AND she barely got to do anything in Penacony... Gonna need a Masked Fools story arc, Hoyo.
I'll go with Jiaoqu cause I have a dedicated DOT team with Kafka and BS and Acheron for hupercarry roles. Although my Acheron has cracked stats I still need him to battery my eos1 girl faster. At first I was gonna skip him for feixiao but then I realized that would have been the greatest mistake cause I don't have fua units cause I more of a break and Dot enjoyer.

Same, I have similar situation in my second account that needs jiaoqiu more than feixiao. I like break like firefly (too dumb I didn't pull ruan mei first because I lose 50/50) and DoT, and I think pull jiaoqiu is the most reasonable for my account. In my main account, I have acheron E0S1 but I don't feel joy to play because I lacked more suitable debuffer for her (I use welt and pela). Also I already enough with Dan Heng IL and Firefly to carry my account (I don't usually like to pull dps for character I like prespectively beside blade and dan heng il, but somehow needing dps character to pull if I have good support that accomodating the dps itself) and I don't have robin, so I rather pull jiaoqiu (if blade isn't rerun)

jiaoqiu is far ahead e6 gui and like 20% ish better than pela. the suggestion is to run him next to pela ( or sw ) so that u can both get vul and def shred which is better then stacking only vul or def shred

If this is the new Banner than that's honestly a relief. I thought it was gonna be a choice between Jiaoqiu or Black Swan. I have Black Swan at E0S0, but my Sparkle is E2S1, so our little Elation Pathstrider isn't really a priority to me.

Sparkle can run in both Acheron and DHIL team while JQ is stuck in Acheron team. You're a F2P so you should prioritize efficiency. Sparkle is way more versatile than him.
And ngl, your Acheron team is already very good. Maybe replace SW with Pela and then you're set.
JQ will definitely be a huge upgrade for your Acheron but imo as a F2P player you should be careful with your Jades.
If you want to upgrade your Acheron team I'm not gonna stop you tho because JQ is still a very good pull. Just lower value for F2P players.

I only have e0s0 Robin and tbh she’s not on the same level people make it seem, until e1 and/or s1 she feels meh in anything outside fua compared to other harmony with equal investment, Ruan mei overall is more universal and currently on top in terms of team performance

Therefore if I pull for Sparkle then I need either Dhil E1S1 or Acheron E2S1 as the main dps. Then I'll build other supports for them
But since I did A LOT of blunders by pulling more DPS, I had to sadly abandon them since they were easily replaced anyway. Then maybe building a team around Robin that I recently got and RM woukd be perfect for the long-term?
Superbreak team seems to be relatively cheap atm needing only one limited 5 star to work quite decently. But Acheron team is still in the grey since she's E0S1...

This video further confirms my believe that pulling for sparkle is generally too niche, yes she is strong in a sp hungry hyper carry teams but i personally dont have other characters that are really sp hungry.

Sparkle is great if you need the skill points and can benefit from a cd increase and advance action forward. I own Sparkle and her signature LC, but I would recommend Ruan Mei over Sparkle in a heartbeat. Ruan Mei provides weakness break efficiency, speed, dmg boost, res pen, so on and so forth.
Only reason I'm planning to pull JQ is I hope he can drop a lot of debuff procs for acheron.. i plan to give him tutorial and run him along side sweaty pela.
As for sparkle i have her, but plan to get her lc this time to run with yunli as a hypercarry.

I just realised most of the new 5* units are compared to their best teams (calculated with all the 5 star units), but overall people doesnt really think what kind of team they can be good other than that. Like DoT can be an extra damage (like he is a sub dps) while debuffing enemies + buffing teammates ultimate. Like people using Pela a lot, because of the debuffs, but Jiaoqiu's are vulnerability, which is the better one + he has extra values. Also I dont really like in an Argenti team you basically have to buff Argenti as much as possible, to deal some damage and he is useless in MoC (or atleast I dont like to play like that) so I was thinking to try an Argenti(or Xueyi, cuz why not) - Jiaoqiu team. I like his kit, he got nerfed and was better before but he is still good, obviously gonna be nice next to my Acheron but yeah.
Already have Sparkle E1 and am currently guaranteed for her E2 🙏🙏🙏
Started playing today, stil overwhelmed by the amount of characters and worrying about who to get, really enjoys these kinds of videos as a bit of help.
Always get latest. Fexiao, lingsha, and if you can then get robin. As a beginner you don’t need robin, but you can save on the side for her rerun. Ruan mei is another to keep an eye on. Most importantly, have fun! It took me 8 months to casually clear all content so don’t stress too much. I absolutely recommend the 5 dollar monthly pass if you can afford, it will give you breathing room to plan character pulls.
I really needed this video. I currently main Acheron but her team isn’t complete so l’m counting down the days to pull for Jiaoqiu. However, I love Sparkle and I listen to monodrama almost every week.. so I may pull for her too. Although, I already have Robin and Ruan mei. This is as result of knowing that Sparkle may not come back in the near future, yet I’d hate to bench her as I don’t have a hypercarry team. Lastly, I could do a weird mono quantum with Xueyi, Jade and Fu Xuan 😅

me watching when I have e2 sparkle lol (accidentally, her e1 came in the next 10 pull while I was chasing qq and sampo eidolons and I decided to go for broke). she makes my qq mono quantum team go brrr and occasionally I do ratio hyper carry but it doesn’t feel strong like his premium fua team.
I also don’t have 2 good teams for pure fiction so I just throw sparkle in with clara or someone else on one side with himeko + herta on the other side, and she works fine. robin is obviously better in many situations but sparkle works fine for my needs
I’ll also say that as a f2p, it’s easy to invest into hyper carry teams. the ratio aven topaz robin team is strong and seems fun to play but that’s 3 limited 5 stars (4 limited if you didn’t log in for ratio lol). I think I’ll still try to get robin because she’s great and I like her. but I don’t think I’ll be able to use her to her full potential because I don’t have any dual dps teams at the moment. but it can’t hurt to have the trifecta of limited harmony characters (sparkle robin and rm)

I appreciate you bringing up the waifu factor. Since Jiaoqiu isn’t a waifu I think he’s more likely to be pushed out eventually. Hoyo is going to try that with Gallagher and Lingsha next patch so we’ll see how that shakes out to determine if Hoyo might try that again (I have a hunch that Gallagher with Lingsha’s light cone is going to be the more popular pull). Since Jiaoqiu is a five star though I doubt he will be directly power crept like Gallagher, but I think some kind of sidegrade or direct Pela upgrade might be likely that could make Pela/New Waifu/Acheron comps more preferable.
Personally speaking, if he didn’t share a VA with Kazuha I wouldn’t be pulling at all, and to be honest I’m still on the fence. If I lose the 50/50 I might just cut my losses and wait for a new waifu.

with the new event, i think they are introducing/testing summon mechanic and that makes sparkle a key character in that type of meta.
There's also another thing to consider with Jiaqiou since DPS nowadays tend to have a lot of self buffs. Harmony buffs starts to get some diminishing returns.
But nihility debuffers however wouldn't face the same issue and they can still "buff" the entire team's DMG. The only downside being if the enemy bas high effect res or is way too fast (like SU or DU bosses)
Imo even in other teams Jiaqiou can perform really well especially if the main DPS already has a lot of self buffs in their kit and he's in a dual DPS team where there's 2 DPS like Ratio Topaz or even Jingliu Blade teams

As FTP, I do have Acheron(Plus her signature lightcone) and Black Swan. I'm not sure if Jiaoqiu is needed. His kit is very specific and 2.5 is coming soon. I think I would be more interested to see what his signature lightcone does at this point since lightcones can be used with 4 star characters.
for me, u should get jq cause hes the first nihility all rounded support but sparkle theres tingyun, robin, ruan mei, bronya, tingyun and even future sunday who ngl is either going to powercreep everyone maybe besides ruan mei or flop and anger hsr fans. 😅 if you have 2 5 star limited harmonies, skip and wait for sunday or tingyun possibly, bronya and limited, possibly pulll but sparkle is a decent upgrade to bronya, but ngl not worth it if sunday and tingyun is next. if you have 1 or none, go for sparkle.
Basically, all Spatkle buffs are too generic. Every strong dps right now got a lot of crit dmg and dmg% themself. While on the other hand, Jiao vuln is very rare, so it hardly get disminishing return
That only have being the case with jingliu so far, there having been another dps who buff it self so much crit that is reduce the value of that stat.

Jade have over 100% crit dmg, Yunli got 100% crit dmg, Archeron got 90% dmg bonus, Dhil got tons of dmg% and crit dmg, Topaz also got crit dmg bonus. With that being said, Sparkle 100% crit dmg and 48% dmg buff get disminishing too easy

My personal opinion on what you should pull based on the characters you currently have or want in the future.
Sparkle if you have/want to have:
-E2 Acheron
-E0 Imbibitor Lunae
-E0 Firefly
-FuA Team such as Dr. Ratio/Topaz/Blade (or just wait for Robin, who is a lot more niche)
Jiaoqiu if:
-E0 Acheron
-DoT Team (Kafka/Black Swan)
I'll probably get him in a rerun since I kinda want him solely for Acheron team. But Acheron is so damn strong that I don't any reason to pull him instantly for a little bit of upgrade
Sparkle will get more value in the future if they make a character that is just like IL, but that also makes her a nicher unit than that of RM and Robin cause they have a certain teamcomp that they perform REALLY good in and can also be put into any team comp and still do really good unlike Sparkle who's buffs can't really do much in the current meta right now. Jiaoqiu on the other hand is very future proof because of his debuffs and buffs that he can do, he is TBIS in Acheron teams, he can also perform well in other DPS teams, and he can also be used in DoT teams because of the buffs that he gives, as time goes on, he'll definitely be the RM of Nihility because of all the things that he brings to the team. In my opinion, you should go for Jiaoqiu as of now, because Sparkle isn't really wanted in the current meta right now. Yes, she is a very good unit but Robin and RM outperforms her in terms of buffing, damaging, and flexibility in team comps.
Perhaps I missed it, but I am surprised that Jioaqiu's synergy with Dr. Ratio wasn't highlighted. Dr. Ratio's damage is dependent on the number of debuffs the enemy has, and for someone like Jioaqui who adds a lot of debuffs and increases damage, in theory they wold be really good together.
JQ looks like a fine addition to the nihility crew, but my roster is at a point where I can't justify pulling for characters that don't either give me a whole new team avenue, or drastically improve my existing teams.
Jiaoqiu being a perfect dedicated support for "ONLY" Acheron and can be work in DoT team if have him E2 (but please for god sake, dont)
Sparkle being a perfect support for mostly hypercarry, basically work with every DPS in the game and being the only massive skillpoint generator
in the end, go for Jiaoqiu if you are an Acheron main or a big Acheron enjoyer, go for Sparkle if you want a strong support that can boost your favorite DPS and be comfortable in skillpoint management
Sparkle is the weakest harmony from the three 5 star harmony character, nowadays. I don't even have Robin, and Sparkle just isn't used outside QQ, monoquantum or DIL cos even 4 star harmony or nihility are better than her. Sparkle WAS huge when she came out. She fell off, hard. And like Jiaoqiu is nowadays only worth it if you play specific niches.

From what I know, Jiaoqiu is comparable to Sparkle for E2 S1 Acheron. Though since you don't seem to have other teams to utilize Sparkle, I would say probably go for Jiaoqiu. He can also be used in DoT in case you aren't using Acheron or Break with Firefly if you don't have Ruan Mei.
As for Black Swan or Lingsha, Swan is more important for the DoT team than Lingsha currently is for Break teams. If you have Gallagher built, he should do well enough to where you don't need to Lingsha.
I did hear that Black Swan might have a rerun next patch, so it could be hard to get both Jiaoqiu and Swan especially if they are back to back, but with your account I think it's correct. After that would be Ruan Mei if you don't have her already.

You do want a Harmony for E2 Acheron since you only need 1 NIhility, so I'd say in your case you can pull Sparkle. Though Bronya is sufficient alternative, but much less SP Comfy then Sparkle. I don't understand why you'd run Kafka over a Harmony when your Acheron's E2, unless you want more stacks.

Honestly as much as sparkle is a good pick she doesn't compare to ruan mei and robin for their respective teams and she is only really best with qingque and dan heng IL. As for jaoqiu uh to be completely honest jaoqiu is probably going to be a good pull if you don't have sw for acheron although vulnerability debuff looks to be good I just can't say she'll be very good on release also dot comps seem to favor robin and ruan mei as their 3rd slot.
Even though Nihility is my favorite type, not sure if I want to spend all my gem in another Nihility...

As someone with a E6S1 Sparkle, I don't need anymore copies of her, and her Value at E0 Isn't the greatest, She's still good in any team that doesn't prefer Bronya's 100% AV/SP negative/Hypercarry teams, and you can make her work in most teams unless it's a non crit unit like Boothill/A unit that prefers Bronya's 100% AV/or Fast units with the Exception of Seele. Though one can argue that Bronya/Robin can be sufficent/> for any team I say you can make Sparkle work in. As for Jiaoqiu, I have E2S1 Acheron, and with her team consisting of E6S1 Sparkle/E6S1 (Incessant rain) Pela & E1S1 Aventurine, and while I'd probably notice a difference with Acheron's ULT Dps per screenshot and a bit of a difference with her Ult frequency, Though for Me, other then Acheron/DOT, I don't know if I see myself using him over my Sparkle/Robin/RM/Bronya/Tingyun/HMC in the teams I use them in. Though that being said, Vulnerability is quite rare and would be nice to have and Jiaoqiu has mad uptime. Though I may skip him for now,, and see how he evolves to see how Valueable he is for a Rerun.

just go with Robin. As he said, if you don't have Acheron or DoT team his value isn't really that high. If your account is built for Hypercarry or Follow-up then Robin is a very good choice- especially for follow up.

Thanks for the video, it was really insightful and I think it is pushing me towards Jiaoqiu (even though before watching it I was going for Sparkle 100%). My only question for you is: You kept saying "Acheron E0", what or how it would change if it was Acheron E2?
Sparkle's value has gone down due to meta shift. Hyper carry teams are no longer the dominant team comps which Sparkle excels at and having more attack frequencies is more important than ever. Bronya might aged better as more units like Boothill appreciates having Bronya more. Sparkle still provides better comfort for skill points usage though nowadays, it isn't as needed.
Team dmg seems to matter more now which is why Robin has been popping up in more teams. Like for Acheron's case, her best team for e0 and above is now with Jiaoqiu and Robin since both have good personal dmg that can contribute to team's dmg.

ACHERON?? With her acheron with her light cone, sparkle compete with jiaoqiu in buffing and ult charge speed.
While Acheron does still play as a hyper carry, she also has a bit more team dmg with Jiaoqiu and Robin. And sparkle does not compete with Jiaoqiu of providing stacks, especially at e0. Robin is better than Sparkle for e0 Acheron + Jiaoqiu. Even at e2, Robin is still better in terms of low cycle clears. 100% av forward to everyone is broken.

it would be safe to assume that Jiaoqiu would perform better than Sparkle in my Acheron team consisting of Acheron herself, Gallagher and Pela so I will absolutely be getting him.

For Lunae. Sparkle gives whole lot more crit dmg than Bronya and skill points.
If you feel like your DPS is getting too low or you want some more skill points. She is a good pick. Oh and her passive buff works with FuXuan too.

Basically, it's not. If you have sparkle, E0S1 DHIL is lot better to crit if you have sparkle also sp positive for him.
I use E1S0 Sparkle and DHIL E2S1 is lot consistent damage but somehow kinda tricky for gameplay ways. And also synergy to fu xuan too. Adding more atk in sparkle's passive due to fu xuan. And fu xuan adds 11% crit rate to DHIL...

- If your Acheron E0S0 better save for Acheron re-run
- Pela+Eagle set good enough for me
- DOT need specific support not him
Sparkle :
- You can use Bronya
- Ruan Mei, Robin, HMC, etc
E0S1 Acheron+Jiaoqiu clear in the same cycle as E2 Acheron+sparkle so just saving for her E2 isn't better. He's also comparable to rm and Robin on dot teams and he's good for Ratio.
As for sparkle she only truly shines with characters like DHIL, seele and qq but we will have future DPS that abuse the sp mechanic for sure.
Sparkle is an investment into the future and Jiaoqiu makes one of the strongest teams even better (and fucking broken in pf with the Herta LC)
Sparkle is literally the only unit in the game that can give you huge amounts of skill points and overcap it and for a game that revolves around having skill points to win she seems pretty valuable to me but no people like to down play characters that were released few banners ago is crazy

At E0 acheron best support combo already was sparkle + pela if you have acheron light cone.

For Acheron she will be more flexible with E2 so better investment than E0S1 Jiaoqiu (You want his LC for def shed, his high EHR requirement)

Sparkle may be good investment for future Quantum team (3.x maybe? I bet she will re-run at that time)
I agree SP cap is unique, but some unit don't need SP (looking at you Jingliu) or you can adjust your team for it

I'm getting even more confused as to who to pull so would really appreciate some suggestions here... I have Acheron E0S1 (usually run her with Pela E6, SW E1S0 (s5 before tutorial mission), Avent E0S0 (trend). I also have IL E2S1..and Bronya E2S0. I have guarantee so originally I was going for Sparkle first then maybe JQ or BS (if she reruns next patch), but now I'm wondering if I should forgo Sparkle and just go for JQ instead? Btw I'm also planning to get robin E0S1 on her rerun, and maybe Acheron E2 on her rerun too (hoping she reruns 2.6 or later though). Or should I just go for Sparkle's LC (for Bronya)?
(other DPS's I've built as well, just in case: Blade E0S0, JL E0S1, Xueyi E6, QQ E6, Himeko/Clara E0, Herta E6. I originally thought I can try putting Sparkle with any of them haha

I've been able to fully clear MOC/PF/AS mostly thanks to getting Acheron (which is why I wanna go for E2), but lately with the break meta (I don't plan on pulling FF or Feixiao) I think I'd probably need to pull more supports (relic RNG doesn't favor me much :(()
If you have IL E2S1 then Sparkle, no doubt. Skip her LC, pull Robin.
While I do personally want to pull Jaioqiu, I just wanna prioritize sparkle first as it is her rerun and I've been DESPERATE to get her...
Plus jaioqiu will get his rerun in 3-4 months compared to maybe 5-6 possible months for sparkle

I say Sparkle in the long run. Skill points are always necessary, while vulnerability debuff is... well, more niche.

Definitely Sparkle. At E2, Jiaoqiu is still good but definitely can be replaced by Pela. Once you experienced Sparkle's 7 skill point cap you can never go back. You can spam skill all you want and you'll never run out of it lmao.

If you really wanna pull for E2 Acheron. Sparkle is better if you can make her 160 spd and Acheron uses atk boot. Jiaoqiu is good for constant debuff but that could be solved with Silver Wolf/Pela with 160 spd.

Keep in mind that he is kinda niche though. So far, Jiaoqiu's debuff aura is only good for Acheron team or extremely fast enemies. Outside of that, he is just okay-ish. Even so, 2.4 and 2.5 will be his playground so he is absolutely worth the investment.
Sparkle on the other hand has fallen down in recent usage due to the lack of crit/sp buff in moc. Dw, she still does her job perfectly, including providing sp and advance forward. When the buff favors her, she will be BiS.
Welp I don't know what Hoyoverse has in store for 2.6 or 3.0 though. It could be Jiaoqiu won't be niche anymore, or he will be forgotten. No idea tbh.

guys my teams are acheron (+pela, aventurine, and guin) and firefly (hmc, gallagher, and rm) so should i pull for jiaoqiu for acheron or should i go for sparkle for future investment in chars 😭 if i end up going for jiaoqiu, should i use any leftovers for sparkle or should i save for robin (like who is more future proof) ?
E0 Acheron will love to work with JiaoQiu so yeh go for him. Sparkle or Robin, who is more future proof. Tbh no idea, people used say JL and DHIL cannot be powercrepted. If in the future, they release crit dps then Sparkle is favored; same with Robin, more FuA DPS then Robin is favored. Or new Harmony that can do better than them.
Robin will go well with Acheron E0, JiaoQiu, Aventurine though.

what's the best teams/teammates for sparkle? i was gonna get her since she's a good buffer and the only other buffer i have is ruan mei for firefly, the fox dude doesn't look good to me and i don't have DoT units/acheron. but i do plan on getting her on her rerun and going all in with whatever jades i have at that time to get LC and maybe E1 or E2
Best team mates for sparkle are hypercarry, or high SP needs teams.
Example, imbibitor, jingyuang, ratio as hypercarry, bronya+sparkle combo, argenti, acheron (with her light cone sparkle+pela is better than most debuffers), decent with Yunli and clara, decent with jingliu and blade.
Those are the most relevant teams and teammates that get improve by sparkle.
Pulling Jiaoqui so I never have to use pela again especially in my acheron team.

The stack of def from Pela + vulnerability from jiaoqui is still the best combo. (But not for much, i would stick to black swan if you have her already)
Buggest question to ask yourself is will a 5* Pela come in the future to slot into Acheron's team?
Id prob pick Jiaoqiu as a new player rn if you planning on pulling Acheron on her soon to be rerun since Robin and units that are overall better than sparkle are up soon. Also haven't ever heard of a character people have regretted pulling more than sparkle, ppl legit still crying rn since pulling her on her first banner...

Jq are very NICHE char. DOT team didnt want 1 more SP- teammate and u cant replace BS/Kafka. The only way to utilize him are Acheron team , but do you need him if you have SW/Pela/Guina? Even more if u are E2 acheron enjoyer Sparkle will outstand him. On other hand Hanabi are strong mid/high support who always be good for FUA/Hypercarry teams
