- 20 year old Usmaan Mahmood was stabbed to death in Thornton Heath, south London, on Tuesday 13 June 2023.
I did not know him but I know his extended family for many years. They asked me to say a few words at his burial.
He was buried at the Merton and Sutton Joint Cemetery, south London, on Monday 26 June 2023. This video is a recording of what I said.
I narrated the story of someone who turned their life around when they were faced with death. I addressed young people who are far from Allah that they should return to Allah before it is too late.
I ended with a parable Ibn Al Qayyim gave about the life of this world in which he described three friends who went on a journey.
Please make dua for Usmaan Mahmood and his family. It was heartbreaking to see his mother ask to see her son's body one last time before he was buried.
Please share this video, especially among young people who are far from Allah.
Thank you for your important message grave side.
I love you for the sake of Allaah. Your way to preach is unique and special, Allaahumma baarik. Please provide us with a lot of more videos.
Thank you, I will try my best.
Families, friends and properties won't go with you, only deeds will! Thanks for another great and meaningful video, may Allah put barakah in all your endeavors. May Allah grant Usmaan and all the departed souls jannatul firdaws.
May Allah have mercy and forgive him. Ameen
You are a kind, gentle and sensitive man. I love the sincere simplicity of your khutba. May Allah reward you for all your efforts and grant you a good ending.
Thank you and Ameen to your dua. May Allah make me better than you think I am. A talk does not reflect on the goodness or badness of a person 🙂
@@BabarAhmadYT I have read about your experience and what you went through and also the experience in Bosnia. I have listened carefully to your experiences when you were incarcerated that period of time. I am also acting on your precious advice with the duas.
I actually subscribe to your channel. May Allah continue to guide you and compensate you a million fold for all that you lost. Truly...it is only Allah who guides. Asalaam alaikum.
@samiraawori3696 I remember where I was working at the time news on Babar's plight became public. It was amidst the height of the war of terror upon Muslim populations globally and the daily media propaganda and fear mongering about our faith. How easily we humans forget. For many years I would remember him in my duas and ask Allah swt to free him from a wicked and unjust incarceration. I would sign petitions and lobby the government and MPs of the time. I wrote to Keir Stamer when he was heading up the CPS to not grant approval for his extradition to US. For so many years that was a trauma that I was living second hand because if it could happen to a regular citizen like him who was at Imperial College, it could happen to any of us. I think it represented the fact that even though we are second generation British, we were viewed as foreign settlers and treated differently from white citizens. A reminder that at any time, the institution can remove your rights and citizenship. Before then, I always thought my father and his generation were just being overly cynical. I cried tears of joy when Babar was finally freed. And thanked Allah for His endless mercies

Brother I do sins and i want to change myself. I try to change it . I try to remember the death all the time but couldn't make the way for a better life full of good deeds why is so?
Moreover i read those duas everyday for over hundred times which give me peace and comfort jazakallah khair for that
Take yourself away from the company that may influence you to do sins, also isolate yourself & check yourself or get check mated. The problem with jumping from salah to sin is that you don’t know in what state you will die. Be real to yourself & rise above your lowly desires. Never give up on your salah & infact drop the sins from now Insha-Allah. 🤲🏽
Salam dear brother there is nobody who does not sin. Your desire to change is a sign Allah loves you and that you love Allah and you will change.
Life is a constant struggle between sin and good deeds. It’s the same for all of us.
Make this dua to Allah and seek His Help and you will change. The dua in this urdu nasheed, three simple words ruclips.net/video/q_Mb5O1tqqQ/видео.html
There is a urdu imam called Maulana Tariq Jameel, listen to his lectures on RUclips and with Allah’s help you will change inshallah.
May Allah bless you.
@@BabarAhmadYT we sin daily that is true but it’s not intentional, we keep away from major sins Insha-Allah. We are constantly trying to better ourselves than yesterday.
To be on your own keeps you away from bad company…

@@BabarAhmadYT walaikum Asalam one more question whenever i do good deeds in public everytime i feel like i m showing up what is the cause and cure of this illness?
Aslam aleikum brother Babar, if we invite you, would you come to give a talk or Jummah Khutbah in our masjid for the youth?
May Allah bless you and reward you abundantly
Ws thank you for your invitation. I don’t really do talks and khutbahs. I gave this talk at the burial as I know the family and they asked me. I only give the khutbah at my local mosque when an imam drops out last minute.
I am trying to share my experiences via my RUclips channel and yes I’m working on something for the youth inshallah 🙂
May Allah SWT grant him Janna Al🤲

O Allah, forgive our people who are alive and those who have passed away, forgive those who are present and those who are absent, forgive our young and our elderly, forgive our males and our females. O Allah, whom among us You wish to keep alive, then let them live according to Islam, and whom among us You wish to take unto Yourself, then let such deaths be in the state of Imaan (Belief) (Faith). O Allah, do not deprive us of their blessings and do not let us stray after them.
