Im a udsf infj. As an electrical engineering major, I decided to start teaching low-level electricity courses at a local community college to help strengthen my mind temple subconcious. Putting myself in a mind temple environment has helped me stay SF. It helped me overcome UDUF nhilism because its gives me a purpose. The education I give people influences their lives (soul temple influence). I still get se inferior performance anxiety sometimes but I choose to view it as an opportunity to succeed (I used to assume i'd fail by default). As I verify my electrical knowledge, I'm learning to trust my own Ti more, realizing that I do more self-doubting about what I know than I should (at least in this moment in my life.) My hope is the flames of hope and confidence will keep growing as long as I remain humble and not pideful in my subconcious. Also learning a valueble skill helps me have something to tack my identity on.

@fierytruthhurtsbutheals As a UD|SF (from what I can gather) INFJ, I concur. Programming has been a slow burn for me but I am enjoying it a lot now that I'm a little better at it and that I know how programming works. I'm not convinced it's going to be what I do for the rest of my life however.

I'm a high sensation seeker and my mental reframing is good so I basically enjoy all states of mind. I'm very content with what I have and see all the things just as another adventure

I have infj uduf personality, though i have transitioned to udsf in the past. It made a lot of sense when you were saying how hard it is to get to and maintain udsf and how you can go back to uduf. Ill be interested to learn about those sub variants you mentioned, and to learn more about all of this. The depth, implications, complexity it is all quite fascinating.

Infp woman here. I think I was definitely UD. I grew up semi fatherless and saw him a collective 6-10 weeks a year, so it was just me and my ENTP mom. For 8 years I lives as a trans man. It wasn't healthy for me and I become more and more self destructive, it's giving UD:UF? I grew up and got better over the years, and when I finally desisted transitioning, I started learning how to heal my mind, body, spirit and I really felt that shift into UD:SF. Hopefully I interpreted right 😅

Yep that´s really me, UDSF ESFJ, childhood was not that great, but as i grew up i found peace with the love and honesty of my wonderful ISTP husband and was slowly able to have hope, set goals and get to the places we want to be😊

Sooo, gnawing at the back of the mind that you COULD be thrown back in to UDUF… What if a person could get past that? What is they no longer have that worry? Would they, (could they), present as SDSF and live without that fear? (Perhaps even retaining the ability to go back UF but now in a balanced way.)
How did you help your liver failure? Diet & exercise assuming. Anything else? Want to help someone with same issues.
I am UD|UF and octogram is the most hopeless thing I have ever heard of in my entire life.
All my life I had hoped that I would discover something that would make me happy, or at least not resigned. I lived thinking that I would be able to fix myself. Maybe self-discipline, maybe relationships, maybe knowledge that I don't have yet. I've been angry at you for a year because you killed that little hope I had. And what did I get in return? Visions of a consolation prize for which I have to try twice as hard as SD types.
What you get from it? A detailed description of what it would look like for you to actually get out of that dark place and move to UDSF. Find a way to develop your Inferior and surround yourself with the right people
@@lagerthalothbrok6082Fucking fortune telling. Now it is necessary to develop inferior. I've already heard that I need to develop a parent, a child, a critic. There is nothing detailed about it. It's never the fault of crappy advice only mine. Now I have to develop Fe inferior by helping others and in return no one will help me with any of my problems. After all, I'm just a robot to solve other people's problems. And that's the detailed vision.
hope is a choice man. if you are looking for good things to feel better, thats not hope thats optimism. hope is a choice you choose even when everything seems meaningless. and by everything i mean literary everything like when no amount of contemplation can carve out a possibility of grace.
and please do not try to rationalize happiness and hope. if you can rationalize your way into hope most of our suffering would cease to exist. the most intelligent people would be the happiest people if you can rationalize your way into hope. but you cannot rationalize your way into hope.
ultimately its not Ti or Te that brings us out of adversity. its Ni hope and Si faith.

How does someone who has developed neither their unconscious nor their subconscious fit into the 4 variants?
Is it possible to have under-developed hero function? People have categorized me as an INFJ, but I have always been hesistant.
If sdsf types are the most developed, and sativa weeds pushes you to your subconscious… doesn’t that mean sativa weed develops a person’s psyche? I feel it has developed mine

@@ScaryMango6755 I feel it has helped develop my psych overall, yes. But it’s also potentially the cause for some problems in my life, but potentially not I’m not really sure. I know chase isn’t into weed, entps are so afraid of drugs because of ni nemesis. Whereas ni hero just does whatever without fear…
Ehh maybe, at the end of the day it’ll still be a disorderly transition. The way the subconscious is meant to be reached is through aspirational actions, but I do suppose stimulants could help reinforce SF neural pathways.

I thought of this idea when i noticed that everytime I recognize a male INTJ character in a show, irregardless of octagram, I cant help but naturally tend to think of them as myself. I cringe and feel embarased everytime they make a mistake I have tended to make before, or think something I often think but never share, I root for them to win, even if I fundamentally disagree with there philosophy, and I sympathize with them more.
A potential reason I though of for this was "well, they kinda ARE me in a way. Just like another version of me."
