I have probably watched this video a dozen times. And I'm still watching it. This is my dream bike. It's a perfect blend of chopper style with the modern updates.
I love the way it looks also but not at the expense of my tail bone. I have a 2020 Breakout. I originally wanted to drop mine because I think its a clean look. I also have the heavy breather and VH Big Radius pipes. I just can't get myself to pay the $ Heartland kit.
@@dontworrybehappy8080Speaking of tailbone, I just picked up a 2016 breakout. I’ve ridden 1300 miles in one week. Seriously, I realize I can’t cut out all the pain but is there a seat that won’t kill my tailbone?
For years, I never knew about the Brwakout line of Harleys. Back in 2013 or so, I saw one on a lot when we dropped my dads bike to get work done. Within a week it was sold because when we returned.....I wanted to see it again. Since then, I had forgotten the model because at the time, I was nowhere near able to even buy a bike over 4 grand. Took me 3 years just to get my VTX after I've seen this one. I repeatedly attended ROT Rally in Austin and still never recognized this model anywhere. I've seen them at neither dealerships in the Austin area. Im excited to finally see the glorious bike ive wanted for so long. Im very picky about the look of a motorcycle and this MF is IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for the video. My mouth is watering. I have every intention of owning this very bike in the next 4 years
I saw one of these bikes at the store tonight with high rise handle bars. The look and simplicity of the machine coupled with the perfection of the engine and softail frame makes it hard not to stare at. My first thought is that this is the new bike to customize like the Deluxe has been. And the bike in this video is the world's baddest motorcycle on the planet. The sound is awesome!
Over here on the east coast we cant do any lane splitting but man you've got some skills and guts cutting around all those cars. Love the video like always.
I’m in Ma. But I’m Old school and impatient, have been doing it for decades “ Cautiously “ . But here watching for cops and people moving into my path intentionally to stop me . Scanning for both equally and at the same time it is a Skill. And he has mastered it very Well .
The Breakout has been one of my favorite Harleys since it came out as a CVO model a few years back. I love the way this bike sounds and looks. Another great looking and sounding bike. Thanks again Matt for sharing and I hope you had a good vacation in Utah.
Every time I talk myself into liking my old 2013 fatboy lo better than the new Harley's and the designs, you throw a video like this at me and I just shake my head as it hangs low....awesome bike Matt, you guys do really nice work, and I do like the new designs very much so....I absolutely love the new fatboys...
Dude if your on the fence, take one out on a test ride. I guarantee you will buy it. The new M8 engine is incredible, its by far Harley's best engine. This thing pulls like a freight train.
Definitely lots of thought went into this bike. Even the mirrors fit this build! I put that exhaust on my FXDWG and loved it! They look equally fitting on this bike!
Hi Matt, if you try reducing the mic boost you'll get that nice rich Harley sound. Your voice comes through fine but the exhaust overwhelms it. Have you also tried a mic wind breaker? thx for the videos.
That is one bad-ass awesome Harley!!!!!! Very nicely done. It's like a new-old-school Harley look. Taking a new Harley and giving it a modern day old-school look. That is just one nice, clean, bad-ass Harley!!! Like everything about it!!! That Seth painter guy does a great job too. Note: Watch this on a big screen with a good sound system. Makes you feel like you are actually riding it, sort of a virtual reality type thing.
I was really into the video until a commercial came on and I started stomping my feet like a little kid. LOL That bike is dope man! Great job to all involved!!!!
Awesome build! I can imagine what was spent here. Paint, wheels w matching rotors pulley, heartland kit and air ride not to mention exhaust, bars and all the other doo dahs all dealer assembled and all of it on a brand new breakout...omg man my first house was likely cheaper!
Free Swimmer I can see that , that's definitely an option 👍 I just think the BO looks best with the factory drag bars . I have a '17 Breakout with drag-bars that feel right and add to the aggressive look . Either way - this bike kicks ass . Peace ✌🏼
Right on.. I just did several more upgrades to the 03 Dyna I got a few months ago, and 12inch Drag Specialty bars were put on.. And my buddy mentioned the signal relocating on top, instead of next spot down.. I liked it cuz the new fork bag I am waiting for wont interfere with lights that way,,
I'd happily take her as she is, I personally love the bars. I would need to sit on her tho to check if there much higher then my shoulder line, so she's not overly stupid to turn. But if they weren't stupid in comparison I'd leave her alone. Thing of beauty 🤘
I actually think the new Breakout is much neater then the old one. Has a charm to it, I cannot really explain. Also it rides a lot, and a lot better the previous Softail.
You show all these great customization ideas I live in New York you see some great stuff at dealers around here too really really top notch stuff thanks again
very nice ! the owner/designer has a good eye . i'm not into putting pointy things in places i might hit during an accident , so i'd switch the bars , but otherwise i love it . great paint , the Heartland looks awesome .
@@MattLaidlaw ok I must have missed it because I have not yet familiar with all the manufacturers. Only two I know of are Legend and Shotgun shocks. But thanks Matt, I'm binge watching all your videos
Pretty ingenious using the Vrod cowl. First one I've seen for it in the states. I saw a nice one offered on some Euro site, but it was crazy expensive.
I didn't find any reviews on that seat, which looks good, but how comfortable it is? Can you go on a longer rides, few hours? The stock one is literally "pain in the ass" :) hopefully this one is better
The only I would change is routing the control cables into the hangers and mount the rear fender to the swing arm so the spacing never changes. I have both mods on my '14 Breakout and makes all the difference in the world. I would love to have that 114.
Love that thing. It came out spectacular! And I will never bitch about our Orlando roads again. Man, the roads around your dealership suck donkey bone.
Breakout, to me, represents the come back of HD to their true custom motorcycle. Too bad they also came out with the rest of the shite! Nice video Matt. Thumbs up from Biker's Garage 101 BTW: this is not a performance bike, RIDE HER LIKE A HOG!!!
Matt, looks like you where having fun, have you ever thought about building yourself a “Hot Rod” bike? Or restoring a vintage bike for yourself? I always enjoy your channel, it’s my favorite, keep up the great content my friend.
Mostly cosmetics. It's a cool feature to have for shows and stuff. Much like cars that are on air bags. It looks amazing slammed in the rear with the fender hugging the rear tire.
I have probably watched this video a dozen times. And I'm still watching it. This is my dream bike. It's a perfect blend of chopper style with the modern updates.
so perfect my dream bike also
I will own one one day
It's like the blueprint I have in mind for my Breakout! Absolutely nailed it!
I love the way it looks also but not at the expense of my tail bone. I have a 2020 Breakout. I originally wanted to drop mine because I think its a clean look. I also have the heavy breather and VH Big Radius pipes. I just can't get myself to pay the $ Heartland kit.

Matt,
THAT BREAKOUT IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!
I can listen to that sound of that bike all day long

Im here in Socal and avoid it, it can be risky still.
Thanks man.

Holy smokes, that's beautiful.
If your videos were a baseball game Laidlaw's would have won by the 10 run rule. You keep knocking it outta the park. That bike is amazing!
Haha thank you!
Good looking bike I built me a chopper getting got stupid lupus crap but love get a break out rock on
Love the look of the bike as well as the paint job!

Perfect build tough as the bars look factory just works the m8 making a mean bark also
Matt love these in house builds you guys do for customers, their rideable fun good looking bikes...tach is all I’d add on this bike 👍👍👍👍

Thanks for watching. Awesome, see you there!

Craaag Of Victory it wasn’t cheap that’s for sure.
My dream bike 👏🏽❤️❤️
What a bike, what a paint! Whatever everything! 🙌 Thank you for this Vlog!
Thank you!!
This is THE only Harley I'd ever consider paying for that's new. This IS my dream bike.
Very nice build , I love everything except the handle-bars
I do like the bars, however I would have relocated the signals to top of triple tree.
Free Swimmer
I can see that , that's definitely an option 👍

Yup this is the bike for me
Good Job Mr. Laidlaw, as always top shelf. If only the fork tubes were blacked out. Great looking MC.
that's a sweet ride. It's a shame you couldn't hide those cables in the bars somehow
Nice build never thought I would like the look of a breakout with those handle bars.
love the sound of the wheel
That’s a nice looking Breakout with the Heartland Kit. It reminds me of a modern version of a Rocker (FXCW).
Great bike! The V Rod cowl gives it a unique look. Nifty idea.
Wow the look and that sound!! 🔥🔥🔥
Spoked wheels would really make it look good
Now that's one cool looking bike
I think this looks a lot better than stereotypical choppers. Much better lines. Also, this beast is monstrous!
Damn that’s an awesome bike. Been thinking about the breakout as opposed to the fat boy. Scoots like this is why! Nice build guys!
I actually think the new Breakout is much neater then the old one. Has a charm to it, I cannot really explain. Also it rides a lot, and a lot better the previous Softail.
Man that is one beautiful bike, sounds amazing.
You show all these great customization ideas I live in New York you see some great stuff at dealers around here too really really top notch stuff thanks again
Great looking bike. Really enjoyed the extended ride sequence. Sweet as hell man. Thanks for taking us along.
Beautiful bikes. Thanks for the great video.
very nice ! the owner/designer has a good eye .
i'm not into putting pointy things in places i might hit during an accident , so i'd switch the bars , but otherwise i love it . great paint , the Heartland looks awesome .
you know, I was wondering when another vid would come out...and low and behold! It's during my 4th beer! Get some, baby!
The video was timed to intentionally line up with your 4th beer. You're welcome.
@@TH3G0ODGUY hahahaaaa
not a fan of the bars but to each their own the rest of the bike looks great.
Wish we could split traffic legally in MIchigan. Great videos, Matt. Thanks for the fine job
That's my dream bike! In the near future I will own it!
I came across this video after searching for upgrades for my 2020 Breakout, I'm wondering what brand of air suspension is he using
I think dirty air. I’m about 50% sure
Do I not say in the video. I should say it.
@@MattLaidlaw ok I must have missed it because I have not yet familiar with all the manufacturers. Only two I know of are Legend and Shotgun shocks. But thanks Matt, I'm binge watching all your videos
BADASS BIKE ..
Bad ass bike! Think your video sold me on the Heartland kit/air ride for mine. My wife can’t thank you enough!?!
Ed Hanscom haha. I’m sure your wife is very thankful.
"Nasty Nice, and black looks badass!
Like the term "Nasty Nice" You just coined a new slang term sir.
Very nice build! Love how this breakout turned out! One of two favourite Harley’s on my list
I still loved big bear choppers the Athena was stunning. !
Beautiful, I want one just like this.
Thanks again Matt. Beautiful build! Love that chopped look and sound.
Incredible bike. I love this.
Looks like a lean mean machine great build take care Matt
Looks like a 800lb rolling turd with a nice paint job. Bet it is awesome in a straight line.
Sweet looking and sounding bike. Thanks.
Beautiful paint job, I really like the looks of the new tank.
Beautiful, simply beautiful!
Love the bars! Actually the whole bike looks fantastic but I'm going to get those bars for mine!
Agree, the bars look great on it.
Do you know, where to get those bars ?
Awesome looking bike..And I love the music in this video. Thumbs up big time.
That thing is beautiful man
I like the bars hate them on the breakout
That is a nice build ! Has that minimal old school look. It IS hard to stay off the throttle on those 114s.
Very well done the detail on the bike really sells it
Pretty ingenious using the Vrod cowl. First one I've seen for it in the states. I saw a nice one offered on some Euro site, but it was crazy expensive.
Yea, we were surprised how it literally just bolted right up. It looks awesome.
Matt Laidlaw do all vrod ones work?
I didn't find any reviews on that seat, which looks good, but how comfortable it is? Can you go on a longer rides, few hours? The stock one is literally "pain in the ass" :) hopefully this one is better
Hell,that's a great looking bike!
Perfect, nice to see some still do Custom bikes. Would have done red on the rear caliber.
I like this harley !!! Best moto ever !! Harley is legend !!!

Could the front rotor be any smaller or more singular?
Very nicely done beautiful build very chipper/bobber-esq and purrrrrzzz like a beast too thanks again peace brother
I've got a question. I Love the Breakout but I'm 6'4". Would this bike be too small for me?
I have a 2018 114 Breakout. How did you guys get around the exhaust. No one will sell me one, let alone put it on.
Bike looks great. It was tough for us to watch your mirrors for police, what with them mounted so high hahah. Keep up the good work brother!
Holy moly Matt, really great inspiration . Brutal bike. I like it. Good job. Greetz Alex.
Best driving ever...
Very nice bike!

There’s that sound 💯💯💯
The breakout is such a bad ass bike. Wish I would've bought one instead of my streetbob.
Love this bike 🚲 I need this.
Matt, You are having too much fun
Chris Philhower that’s the idea. Haha.
Tastefully done up. Nice 👍
Beautiful! 👍
Dope bike love the rear end 🔥🔥🔥
Wow looks awesome! Would be perfect if you could put a fatboy tank on it!
What a ice cool looking bike wow I want it
Wait, hold up: 5:08 you can raise or lower the thing. What's the advantage, exactly? Better cornering? Cushy ride?
Mostly cosmetics. It's a cool feature to have for shows and stuff. Much like cars that are on air bags. It looks amazing slammed in the rear with the fender hugging the rear tire.
what a beauty
