Look, the gaps between midfield and defence is his fault ALL season long. But, honestly, it would be suicide to play Case and Maguire in a high line. Idk why ppl don't observe that Maguire's improvement in form is also due to the play being AHEAD of him.
Now, ppl are questioning his subs. We did score after he made those subs right!? Playing Amad in those central zones in addition to Scott making late runs into the box caused uncertainty.
Now, how is it on the manager if your CB decides to head clear the ball right above instead of outside the box and your RB and GK don't communicate for clearing the ball.
I support our manager but for those who don't, you ll find yourself telling this same thing for the new manager 1-1.5 yrs into his reign because the players STAY!!
It's crazy that it's our senior players that are letting us down
You seem to miss the point that mistakes happen if the ball keeps ending up in the United box. Liverpool make mistakes city and arsenal its just we allow the opposition in the box constantly. It is all tactical the players are under pressure and some of them lack desire. Ten hags subs are shocking in every game. He would turn it around but he needs a.very specific player profile that I am not sure he can find them. HE NEEDS A LOT OF HELP FINDING THE RIGHT FIT.
Burnley grabbing the ball to go for a winner after the penalty was peak embarrassment. Teams do not fear us at all
Even after the pen we had at least two very good chances to win the game if Bruno had kept his head

Everyone will blame Onana but that back pass header from Casemiro in a box full of players was football suicide
him being played out of position shows here. he is thinking of cushioning the header back to onana to gather with his hands but (1) awareness as a defender is not there which causes the wrong judgment (2) centrebacks who do this need to shout out to their keeper their intention before heading the ball, which i didn't see him do through the replays.

Rashford faked injury against Coventry and doesn't seem to want to play, unless he fancies a run-out in the cup final

Well whenever we score first I get worried alot..so result not a surprise.
Why is it so hard to see out a match? Because we don't have a midfield. Our only decent DM is now our only CB, and the other central midfielders don't defend. Once the opponents apply pressure, they will face our defenders directly.

Amrabat went on strike at Fiorentina for a chance to play for United. Ten Hag sticks him on the bench. Amad finishes a successful loan at Sunderland, ends up player of the season. Ten Hag forgets him in the bench for 5 months while serving us Rashy and Antony (for all matches). Sends Reguilon away, sends Alvaro Fernandez away only to play AWB and Jonny Evans at LB. Sold Zidane Iqbal for less than £1m but is now complaining that we don't have press resistance in the first phase... At some point you'll realize the obvious, just give it time...

The moment Eric Ten Hag replaced Hojlund, I know that this season is almost over. Not because its a bad decision but rather, its a dying statement that this team is so badly depleted and need complete overhaul
Burnley who is 2nd from bottom played like the home team. Everything from MU was bad. The pitch, the passes, the formation, the finishing. And Bruno, he could possibly had the record for most passes given away in a match. No link up between defense and attack cause the midfield dept is missing or erratic. Poor Holjund. I've said this for years, the culture in the club takes over when a new player comes in, even tho we've had 13 new players come in since ETH became manager, they have ALL ended up showing no interest, yet oddly nobody could see this when Ole was in charge, in fact he got more out of his players in the PL than any manager since SAF.

Exactly mate. ETH has made mistakes tactically (despite the endless injuries etc) but in 80-90% of our defeats, he led us to winning positions and our team couldn't see the game out. Copenhagen, Galatasaray, Chelsea, Coventry, Burnley... So many examples.
Managers task is to bring the players into the final 3rd. You can suggest what the players must do and when they shoot but you can't coach shooting technique and decision making.
We are also giving enough chances for relegation tier teams to score just as many. Nothing to do with the manager and his tactics ?

Well, was at the game today Casemiro at fault for not clearing ball and onana for punching him, absolutely shocking performance
The first 20-25 minutes were absolutely great, United looked really comfortable, cutting through Burnley like butter, then it was back to the normal United again.
But Casemiro, damn, he's becoming a liability now with the amount of dangerous mistakes he's making.. if he was a few years older I'd be thinking he has dementia or Alzheimer's, and forgets what team he's playing for..
It is the manager because all he trains them to do is sit back and counter. There’s desire to possess the ball all. They don’t hold the ball at all. Whether ahead or behind. The game plan stays the same. Sit back, counter at 1000 mph. That’s what he trains them to do. It’s 💯 on Ten Hag.

We are creating lots of chances, our front 3 are all young & in their debut season. I don't expect the goals to flow, we are going to be inconsistent. The only consistency I expect is the ref to have a clanger.

I feel bad for Onana, he had a brilliant game and got stitched up by Casemiro big time there. It shouldn’t have been a penalty though because AWB had already headed the ball away before he made contact with the Burnley player so no chance he prevented a goal scoring opportunity. We also should have had a penalty for an identical situation to the AWB incident which we were penalised for against Coventry, if the refs are being consistent.
Onana has not been an upgrade, the rest of the defensive play has been suspect as well. What a difference a year can make.

As a United fan I’m just disappointed at the level of professionalism within the whole team. Jokingly I’m better off putting a bet on us loosing ,giving a goal in last 10 minutes or give a penalty away in the last 10 minutes.
