Rooney was an absolute gem one of the best all round players. He scored a club record of 253 goals a tally that no doubt would've been far higher had he been more selfish but that wasn't Rooney. He was always a team player often playing out of position to accommodate others. His winning mentality, work rate, desire, will to win, selflessness etc he was incredible. Yes his last 3 years at Manchester United was extremely painful due to him declining before turning 30 but he still pops up with goals and him becoming our all time top scorer is a testament of how great Wayne Rooney was at Manchester United. We'll never see a player like Wayne Rooney ever again.
