Didn’t watch the debate. Didn’t need to. I made up my mind over 30 years ago about DJT (ex-New Yorker here). Having said that, I’ve read some of the coverage. The media freak out over Biden’s debate performance basically demonstrates just how far our Fourth Estate have fallen down the rabbit hole. As a social worker who has spent a lot of time working in jails, I have dealt with a fair number of sociopaths. I can empathize with Biden. How on earth can any normal human being deal with the endless lies and gaslighting of such a one as Mango Mussolini. I remember many times when l would emerge from a session with a particularly disordered patient utterly confused and sometimes even doubting my own sanity. I can only imagine how Biden felt. Thank you, Mr. O’Donnell, for your sane, rational and yet still passionate defense of Biden. Biden has been a competent, hard-working President. DJT was a disaster the first time around: he and his minions would be a catastrophe if given a second chance, not just here but around the world as well. This is a teachable moment for our media satraps. They focus on optics, snap polls, and the opinions of their peers. They have become so inured to the tsunami of nonsense from one side that they essentially scapegoat a flawed but decent man who is actually trying to make the world a better place.

I read the Supreme Court's silence as being complicit with Trump overthrowing the Government!
I suggest that you are mistaken, they are not silent. SCOTUS could have put this off until the next term, but they decided to take it on now. I anticipate that they will correctly grant him some level of immunity for presidential decisions and actions but certainly not anything and everything the president does while still president. In the off chance that this court does give a president the full immunity he wants, Biden still has 6+ months to execute his political enemies with impunity. They aren't gonna do that. This decision comes down in the next few hours.

What is wrong with United States is slavery and a lack of democracy.
In order to get the slave states to join in the revolutionary war, there needed to be limits to democracy put into the Constitution. Reason the northern colonies needed the. Slave states to join us because the slave states have the vast majority of wealth. (It is easy to become wealthy if you can work people to death and not pay them.)
Do slave states knew that if it were truly Democratic system, that slavery would disappear very quickly. The slave owners were the wealthiest people of the time. So the constitutional limits to democracy. Benefits super rich people.
The barriers to democracy written into the Constitution
--. The electoral college. That's why Republicans have been in the presidency several times. When they did not win the popular vote.
--the Senate. The slave states were the small population States
So the Senate gave the slave states more representation for citizen than the larger states.
The Three-Fifths rule. This allowed a slave state to count 3/5 of their non-voting, non-citizen slaves towards representation in the House of Representatives.
So the small population States had an advantage in the Senate, the House, and in choosing the president.
Disadvantage of the Rich and powerful was magnified when the supreme Court went against the Constitution and gave itself the right to throw out laws passed by elected representatives.
No other democracy in the world has a group of unelected rich people that control laws passed by elected representatives. Being able to overrule the elected representative, makes the supreme Court kings.

I am an Independent and didn't watch CNN's silly debate. Proposed solutions, for critical issues, can't be articulated, with any substance, in 2 minutes. And asking a guy, with a stutter, to answer rapid-fire questions, is even more ridiculous. Hopefully, a majority of Americans will continue to support Biden-Harris despite Biden's lack of debating skills.
