    Caught a slight error in your description of the modes for the INS. You were correct in the INS GND and SEA being the alignment mode for shore and ship based respectively. The NAV setting is the one you will normally fly around in. IFA is used to align the INS system in flight (IFA stands for In Flight Alignment). Otherwise some great info. The Harrier is one of my favorite DCS birds. Keep up the awesome content :)

    • @nelogger
      @nelogger 5 лет назад

      This isn't right. IFA is the correct mode. It allows continuous updating from the gps. NAV is INS only.
      There was a harrier pilot on hoggit who confirmed this as well.

      @nelogger 5 лет назад

      @Little Kobold pilot needs the option to go straight INS in case of degraded or jammed GPS.

    Initial coordinates, altitude and mvar can be found in the first kneeboard page, no need to use the F10 map

    Thank you! It's so hard to find any info on an unaligned startup. The only thing I couldnt find was the magnetic alignment and that's because its not there!

    Hey,need help here..Timer wont move after entering Mnav...Any solution?

    • @Jojcib
      @Jojcib  6 лет назад

      By mnav do you mean mvar?
      If you mean mvar make sure that you add the decimal in. For example with Caucasus map you would hit 6 for East then type 6.0 then enter. You will know if its taken since the upfront display will show * 0.0 if it didn't take.

      @@Jojcib I have the same problem, and the upfront display shows 5.9 (as in the video) but the timer doesnt start :/

      @@Abel-hb6oe Hmm... I'm not sure then I just tried with mines and it worked. Might want to look in the Problem and Bug forum for the Harrier here forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=573 and see if anyone else has run into the issue. Or post a bug report.
      The other thing you could try is running a repair on the game. Here is a guide on how to do that forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030 . It might help resolve the issue that could possible be a left over bug that just never fixed itself when the game updated. I would try this first just to see. I myself just recently had to do this in order to fix an issue. My NVG ended up getting bound on the same key binds as the knee-board. Even though the bind where different in the key mapper.
