I live in the US (Yuma Arizona), and this may sound silly, but I really wish I could get your help with my recently adopted 5 year old GSD, who even after a month, is so fearful, and sensitive.
The only time she acts like a normal dog, and is playful is when I get up in the morning. It's only briefly, then she goes back into her shell.
I know that there are trainers here, but I absolutely love your approach, and methods, and just really love you and your team.
Thank you so much for sharing all of this great information.

Wow...thank you for asking. It means a lot to me.
I'm starting to get the feeling that Lucy's fear may be genetic. Since I have no experience with a fearful dog, I really think that I may be in over my head.
There are days where it seems we're making progress, and then she kind of regresses.
Her reactivity can be very scary. In fact yesterday she was reacting to a dog walking past my house (have a short wall and gate in the front. Had to put cattle panels up because she jumped the wall once). When I was able to get her by the collar, she actually turned her head towards me, but it had the feeling of redirection. In fact the whole episode was worse than I have seen from her.
I've been trying to keep her on the long line so I can stop her from practicing her reactivity when we're outside.
She was very nervous on her first walk that day, and acted on edge for the rest of the day.
Like I said, I'm getting a sense that she may have some type of mental issue. Unfortunately, even if I move forward with a trainer, not confident that they will be able to help make an accurate assessment.
Just wish I had more experience.
Since she doesn't play, and is only motivated to practice obedience as long as the reward is chicken hearts (very picky eater), I'm running out of ideas to help build our relationship.
It doesn't help that she is the least demanding dog I have ever met...code for she sleeps a lot 🥹
Sorry, wish I could give you a more positive update. Again, thank you for asking.
