**NOTIFICATION SQUAD** I have always listened to my viewers. Thus I have gone to the north and then to the south, Now I wonder where you want me to go next, tell me anything apart from to the eastern most or to the western most coz' that would be too boring. I will choose one of your comments and that will be my destination.
My bicycle day around Hateruma remains one of my best memories. In fact, my whole trip to Ishigaki/Yaeyama over several days was amazing. Hateruma is so peaceful and quaint :)
Telling you to go most southwest of Japan or some other direction would be boring. I suggest you to go most Finnish place in Japan! That quest should keep you busy for awhile. And if you could get Mr. Affable accompanying you, it would be great. Just seeing you two battling with words is just pure entertainment ☺.
@@carlsneyd1315 That would neat. And of course after getting hammered, a little fisticuffs of some petty little thing and after swinging misses to each other they would hug and be best friends again like Finns do 🤣
sweetened red beans or sweet red bean paste served with shaved ice seems to be a very popular dessert in general across quite a number of Asian countries apparently. My family is Indonesian, and I was introduced to our variation on it many years ago - not quite used to the bean texture, but it was surprisingly quite sweet.
Tottori is a perfecture I want to see too. There's always been something about Tottori that I always liked. Probably how rural it is and the more traditional buildings
What I miss most about Japan is Okinawa soba, I will be drooling for the rest of the month thinking about that soba. Thank you for visiting southern Japan, hope you enjoyed the beautiful region.
I've visited Hachijojima 2 times. It's super chill, has hot springs, great seafood and is only an overnight ferry or less than 1 hour flight from Tokyo. It amazes me that so few people seem to visit from the main island.
Lol man I love how you think about others even camera man.. I also like how simply you explain things even if you need make time for it I notice you try take your time explaining it. Glad you met Christ them or you never end up making these videos keep up the good work!
As always, awesome new content from you Ryotaro - thank you! Lands End in the UK is similar - you'd expect something monumental but just a signpost. Ah well, at least the beaches down that area are nice.
Thank you for these recommendations! Ishigaki is on the itinerary for my next japan trip, and I would be devastated if I missed out on that rafute! looking forward to all the tips I can get from you and broad!
I love finding out about this place and the foods. I do hope to visit Japan at certain times. Even though it was small, still hold big surprises. One being how that one goat was just doing everything (even standing a bit on hind legs) to get some leaves. Can't wait for next video.
Another banger video mate. Would definitely love to cycle through that beautiful place. How about a central place? I've heard that Hida-Takayama is a great rural place to visit but might be out of most people's way to visit. Might be a nice showcase :) Keep up the great work mate!
I knew I heard that there was supposed to be another journey across video! I was starting to think that I've been imagining it. I really wanted to go to that region! It's great to see a video on it, hopefully I'd get to visit someday
Those Tahiti like islands always fascinated me. When Japan no longer will require foreigners to get a nanny if they want to enter I will definitely visit those.
Love the content! Chris has to watch out how fast u putting those videos out ;p. Maybe Fukiya village (The reddest village in Japan), Akan Ainu Kotan (Ainu Village) or Furano lavender fields, seem like beautiful places to visit.
You had me at pork... and ramen... and sashimi... 5 trips to Japan and I still haven't been to Okinawa. That will have to be remedied next time for sure... And I hear the Ishigaki beef is superb too 😀
Your videos are always a delight to watch, Risottoro! The snide references to Chris made me laugh (sorry). I'm not sure what destination to recommend, but I look forward to it, wherever it is! PS: Can Chris slurp his noodles now?
Hey Ryotaro! In the future, could you do specials about japanese yokai and their origins? Like visit each region where a characteristic yokai originates and do a short special on it. That would be awesome. Great work!

Travel on the most luxurious train in Japan where they serve a rich range of amazing Japanese dishes.
How about going to the Highest and Lowest point of Japan 😁
@@vorlon81 yeah like the deepest mine or something, that would be interesting
Well now time for east and west! (This is a joke, as I know it would overlap with N/S given the geography of Japan)
Hi Ryotaro, you could travel to the poorest and richest neighbourhood in Japan
I think you and Chris need to go visit "that tiny rock in the middle of the sea."
Certainly not a location where Chris is going to have an "accident"
More like get Chris to go alone.
@@Count-Roflmfao How is Risottoro supposed to assassinate him, then?
Maybe if they ask REAL nice Norm will take them once he gets his pilots license.
@@kurorintenshi He's already got a boating license.
Now for the easternmost and westernmost points, though it looks like the southernmost point was very close to the westernmost point.
You've got it right, I literally have to go back to the Ishigaki again lol
Maybe the exact centre of Japan as well?
@@RyotarosJapan while we're at it, what's the deepest point in Japan that you can visit? time to illegally trespass in some mines
Easternmost part of Japan -> Hawaii
In fairness that small island you visited was beautiful and seemed like a lot of fun.
My bicycle day around Hateruma remains one of my best memories. In fact, my whole trip to Ishigaki/Yaeyama over several days was amazing. Hateruma is so peaceful and quaint :)
Warmer weather suits you Ryotaro! Definitely going to Okinawa when I go to Japan 2023!
Okinawa was the last trip I had to Japan before 'the situation' hit the fan in 2020 🥲 Super chill place, love Okinawan cuisine, especially chanpuru!

Chris and Ryotaro trying Salmiakki Koskenkorva ?

You actually beat Chris in making Journey Across Japan faster!
The editing and subtitles are always magnificent. Worth all the effort.
it's midnight here , about to sleep and I'm hungry again after watching this thinking this is one more video before bed 🙂
Lived on Okinawa for 2 years. Leaving was a big mistake
Nice, your videos are always a pleasant surprise.
Ryotaro feeds the goats but starves the cameraman 🤣
Always The best part of aboard in Japan is this man right here! 😂
when the world needed him most, he returned!!!
1:57 that sign is absolutely gorgeous. It so scratchy and weathered.
Edit: Wowow pigs ear and pigs feet? That's some Japanese soul food!
I would love to see more of Tottori. Not just the huge beach, but the surrounding areas and what their specialty items/foods are.
Tottori is a perfecture I want to see too. There's always been something about Tottori that I always liked. Probably how rural it is and the more traditional buildings
I always love your energy
Ryotaro, I stated it before on that Terry Jones channel abroad Japan, you are an ICON!
Thank you for you being you.
Excited for these videos you're making! :)
Good job
What I miss most about Japan is Okinawa soba, I will be drooling for the rest of the month thinking about that soba. Thank you for visiting southern Japan, hope you enjoyed the beautiful region.
This place looked absolutely beautiful.
Kinda makes you want to retire there.
OMG, the beach, the water, a piece of heaven fell to earth!
i would move there in a heartbeat...
I'd like to see you make a trip to Aogashima and Hachijojima, or maybe to Chichijima and Hahajima in the Bonin islands.
I've visited Hachijojima 2 times. It's super chill, has hot springs, great seafood and is only an overnight ferry or less than 1 hour flight from Tokyo. It amazes me that so few people seem to visit from the main island.
Okinawa such a tropic paradise!!
Ryotaro makes the best videos on RUclips.

Arc de Soleil playing in the background? Nice.
Gotta love the shade thrown at Chris.
but chris is right, its not the most southern island

I love Okinawa soba so much that I bought packs of instant soba back to Singapore when I visited Okinawa. It was soooooo good.
Lovely video. Food looked yummy. Thanks for sharing 👍 🥰
"However a lot of friendly ghosts" 1:15 English CC. LOL i love this
Thanks for the nice video. I'll be going to Miyako and Ishigaki islands next week. I'll try your friends guest house!
This video is so well made :D Great job!
As some already have suggested, a video on the Ogasawara Archipelago would be very interesting!
Literally goated with the sauce
promise kept. impressive.
Wow, the beach really looked incredible!
I love your video's Ryotaro! Especially the ones about food ^^ greets!
I think I found my first vacation spot, thanks for showing us all that. I would love to see a great place to go scuba diving
Looks stunning there
It's sucha lovely place!
I miss Oki! pigs feet is called tebichi in Okinawa. Souki is a different part I believe. Souki soba is the best! Keep up the fun vids Ryotaro.
thank you for sharing another great video 🤩
Those Tahiti like islands always fascinated me. When Japan no longer will require foreigners to get a nanny if they want to enter I will definitely visit those.
Those goats were awesome
13:30 that goat is making me think those leaves are delicious
Damn guess you say the island is the goat. Always another great video mate
Niiiice, I was wondering what the southern most part of Japan looked like.
The food looks really good!
Love the vids man, keep it up. Perfect for binge watching
That Ramen looked delicious!
Your videos are so fun! The humor makes the casual informative style very enjoyable to watch!
That looks like a great place for a chill day trip!
Another terrific video, thank you!
All the food looked yummy!
Great videos mate, and your editor is top notch! :)
I appreciate this video while we are in a holding pattern for Journey Across Japan!
You need a drone. This was the perfect place to get an aerial view.
Excellent video! 🤘
0:54 - imagine Chris doing the southern islands in a kayak
2:28 - how about visiting Aogashima 青ヶ島
Awesome!
Keep up the awesome work Ryotaro :)
That tiny spontaneous sitting area was brilliant, sort of reminded me of Danny from Rate My Takeaway (albeit at a much smaller scale haha)
Great video Ryotaro!!
The quality is improving more and more! love your videos :D
This is so good, how did you do this so well? Man, you're gonna explode...
That's a beautiful island, I hope you do an Eastern/Westernmost video soon.
Greatest goat impression ever

TRAVELING TO ISLAND IS GOOD
Gotta go surfing!
Beautiful island, there are pretty coral reefs. You can't go to the easternmost point of Japan though. Minami-Tori-shima is not open for tourists.
Hey Ryotaro! In the future, could you do specials about japanese yokai and their origins? Like visit each region where a characteristic yokai originates and do a short special on it. That would be awesome. Great work!
This place looks beautiful! Great video!
So you've been to the North, the South and the least accessible shrine. I'd like to see some more hidden treasures and less known cultural aspects.
I've never tried shaved ice but i always imagine it tastes like snow lol
Much love to the editor for this video. 10/10. ☺️
