This is a top rendition of the piece. I recently realized what could be the probable origin of the title: the piece seems very much inspired by Bach's c-minor fugue of WTK I, especially the divertimento material. The title is a free 'translation' of: "When Bach created the divertimento" :))
I agree with this being a top rendition. I mean, It's the one I always listen to. I love the piano "perpetuum mobile" and the way it goes back to Bach "sound". Plus having a double bass and a drum set on a other wise perfect classical piece, it's just genious
I like the slightly faster tempo, it comes closer to the divertimento figure of Bach's c minor fugue, where I believe the inspiration of this song has come from
@johnny141093 I think the time signature is 4/4 in the first 4 bars and 6/4 in the fifth, or 4/4 in the first 5 bars and 2/4 in the sixth. and the right hand follows that time signature, it's just syncopated
@@LuizEduardoSr. Basically there's one soundtrack from the show (called "saga") which is at best directly inspired by the first parte of this piece (and at worst an instance of plagiarism).
Makes you wonder why Bill Evans never attempted much of anything like this . . . contrapuntal playing is just an offshoot of broken-time playing, something his trios excelled at.
One's soul weeps knowing the honest loss we must endure. After listening to such beautiful passion !
he might now be playing it there ;)
R.I.P. Esbjörn, we will never forget you!
I could almost feel all human emotions in this song!
Amen to that, brother!
Svensson une autre dimension la Plénitude ✨l’harmonie l’audace la Créativité ✨✨✨
When God Created Esbjorn Svensson... a glorious moment.
Fantabuloso!!
Stunning playing and a sad loss to music...
Un genio!
Unfortunately is Esbjorn now in heaven... This song is a real masterpiece.

4/4 in the first 5 and 2/4 in the sixth :)
@tommyVega yeah, I think that is the one. both work, but hearing the music and the solos I think that is the most logical time signature
aHH, WHAT A LEFT HAND... BALANCED BEAUTY, JUST LIKE J.S
YESSSSS!
MASTER.................
According to my pulse were not quite there yet, but it's a taste of it... thats for sure. :-P
@johnny141093 it's in 4/4, but the tempo is 340 :P
the ostinato on the left hand is 11 measures long. that's why it sounds polyrhythmic
@olivercarlehed Yes it's !! It was !!!
@olivercarlehed Well it's not Iowa, but it's damn close! ;)
@johnny141093 i have no idea where to start, i think that's a good thing! ;)
can someone tell me, is this heaven?
yes, my fellow men, it is.
@DanielMcDrtcomposer I also thoght is's so "Bach-ian"...
@Tommyfroboy I got that it was in 11/4, so that makes sense :) haha :P

i just found these guys. ridiculouss
Can someone tell what´s the song in the intro of the show? When it says Jazz Line
Mom´s Children
The song belongs to a giant: Chet Baker, Sad Walk (Trio version 1985 Chet's Choice)
@DanielMcDrtcomposer
Fast!
any idea of a time signature anyone? :)
4/4 + 4/4 + 4/4 +4/4 + 6/4
When God created E.S.T...it was great! But why did He take it back??
They needed him playing piano in paradise

make music complicated and people start talking about apples and gravity.
Cómo te vas a ahogar, pelado!
oh my my, why did he have to die?, why not Justin Beaver, daddy Yankee or Lady Gaga? (Crying loud)
