Grey actually looks really good on you. More youthful and the right tone for your skin.
I have been a hairstylist for 30 years and I have to say you did an amazing job. My personal opinion would be leave the back alone for a while and see how the toner washes out for a few weeks and then revisit the idea of bleaching from root. I personally like the depth in the back but I know what you saying about the line of demarcation. love your videos! XOXO
Thank you so much! That compliment coming from a professional means a lot and I really hope this video helps people who take on this challenge at home. XO
agree
It’s gorgeous
Completely agree with you. It looks gorgeous now, the back will grow out and blend in!
Knowing Lisa, she won’t wait! Lol
It's crazy how when you were in the in-between stage at the blonde, how that yellow aged you, but the silver actually makes you appear youthful and vibrant!
For all who cannot imagine doing this, just get a cute short bob haircut, and let your natural color grow out naturally. Yes it takes a little bit of time but it's not that bad. Get a couple of cute hats.. even a cute ballcap for summer and or winter hat in winter. Hats are great! If you keep up the cute haircuts until all the color is cut out, it will work out just fine. That's what I did and now I'm all natural silver grey, with no chemicals..and I get compliments a LOT on my natural hair.
This is exactly what om doing...
You obviously haven't followed Lisa ! She was grey for the longest time, that's when I was grey too.
@@Emjay_____71 okay
Just got a cute Bob and loving it!🥰
Don’t worry about the band underneath. It will blend in as it grows. Better to have dark root that light. Your hair looks gorgeous by the way!! Well done!!
Thank you Cindy. XO
I think you did a spectacular job! Don’t bleach the roots on the bottom. It looks fantastic the way it is.
I totally agree with you. Plus there's so much time going into letting your hair go naturally gray.
came here for that (as an ex hair dresser)
Can you just give me the names of K18 you use..the spray and pump
Just keep toning. Don’t bleach the back it will grow out and look fine. I love using overtone pastel silver for toning. Occasionally use the purple for fun. But with overtone is washes out after a few weeks. Just stay on this side of the color wheel ❤
I've been a hairdresser for over 34 years and I think you did an amazing job on the transformation. perfect research and you didn't forget your skills. I also love the depth that the dark hair gives your overall color. I understand being worried about the dark/line moving forward. My advice to you is wait a few weeks as the toner shifts. Instead of bleaching the dark in the back, tone the bottom with a darker slate gray to match the base color. Eliminating the line and eliminating the warmth, to give you a dark shadow bottom/back of your new overall grey/silver look. Great job 👍👏
You did a fantastic job! I think you should go in with some darker toner in the back that is more the color of your hair coming in. Maybe some low lights, but gray of course.
That’s is also a very good idea
Looks amazing. I would definitely not bleach to the root. There are a couple of things you could do, like get a level 6 ash mixed with a level 5 vol, Paul Mitchel makes one , and comb it down over the band. Guy Tang makes some great charcoal colors as well. Don't use anything over a 5 vol as that will create lift and you don't want your natural level effected by the toning. Guy Tang has a 6 vol developer and he says it will not effect lift. I find certain lines lift with that level developer like Vibrance and Shades EQ. I went natural about three years ago and love it. I am a hair color junkie and what you said reminded me of me, how you get lost in the process as I always do my own hair and have experimented over the years. I have been a hairdresser for over thirty years. Enjoy your new color.
I started watching you because I was growing out my long black hair to natural grey. While you have been colouring your hair I have been growing mine out. Finally done it and it is still down to my bum no length lost. Watching you helped me go against re dying it. Thank you.
I would let the back grow out for a while. I understand your reasoning for bleaching to the root but the natural grey growth is virgin healthy hair so let it go for a while and see how it goes. The yellow banding might tone out with just some strategically placed purple shampoo.
I love how your hair turned out. I would leave it alone until it grows out. I'm a big fan 😊
Hello Lesa ...rather than bleaching the back bit better put lowlights in to blend your natural dark as it grows out... love your new look...❤ Mairead...
2:16 pm I also am growing out colored hair, gray on top with light blonde ends. I have not bleached it for nearly two years. I want my hair to look like yours! You did the most awesome job on yours. Be proud of what you have done. It is like a miracle ❤❤. You are very adept at hair colouring. Hats off to you! Sincerely
I have been waiting for this video. Lisa you are are truly "The Queen of DIY Hair Color". So happy to see you smile with the final results.
You look amazing with any hair colour! And your hair, so thick & healthy, you know what youre doing. It must be an issue with skin & makeup colours. Do you use fake tan, and how do you find the shades that sutes you, would love a video about that. Thanks for showing the prosess.
I totally Love how you did this in steps….all of us are always in a hurry…and you doing this slowly, in steps, helped you come out with this BEAUTIFUL RESULT!! We all need to slow down too…
Thank you very much. Yes absolutely make sure your hair is ready for this and take your time. XO
It's so stunning Lisa, i'm so happy you went back to gray! I think it's the most flattering of all the colors and you did an amazing job, it looks better than it did the first time 😍 You look beautiful!
Anything would be better than the first time! Lol
Wont you have to bleach your roots every month to keep the darker band around your head from happening ? Then you are back to beaching plus coloring your hair again every month . The only way to have eliminated that problem you would had to match the toner to your natural roots , like a darker grey .Maybe I’m missing something. Anyway the colors looked looks beautiful & shiny .
I think it looks gorgeous now, I’ve seen you with many colours, being honest the purple colour was my least favourite, but you didn’t have it for long , just till you got to here.
At least you can concentrate on just keeping it in good condition.
It’s not an old looking silver, it looks trendy, I’m sure your happy with it too ✨🌺
I like the way it came out. Good job. I used to have jet black hair all the way down to my behind. I used to dye it black after I got older and started getting grey hair. In 2020 I stopped dying it and let go grey. I love it and people think I go and pay to have it done that way, but the coolest thing is that it is all natural. I do not have to do a thing to it..
What an amazing transformation!!!! I am a licensed Hairstylist and I couldn’t have done it better!!! Well done! 👏👏👏👏👏Your hair is beautiful!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ In answer to your question,I would bleach the back because like you said, that band will continue to grow down and create a problem later on and then you’ll have to actually bleach the ends which are more fragile! You are on the right track, you have the right idea here! I had a client I did one of these transformations on. We ended up having to bleach the whole thing because it didn’t blend with her new growth I put dark baby lights, an ash black to give her the salt and pepper she was looking for.
This is what I am about to do, try the blending of the new natural growth -- I really don't WANT to bleach the whole thing but we'll see how it blends trying to remove the warmth -- and then do something ashy/cool with low lights, balayage, something, to the back underneath part.
You did an AMAZING job! I would leave the back and not bleach it anymore... at least for now. I know what you mean about the line of demarcation, but I think it looks beautiful. I say leave it for now and revisit in a bit. I can't imagine a much better result, even in a salon.
WOW!!!!! You look beautiful. Your hair is amazingly strong. I have watched almost all the colors and removal of colors you have done over the years. And look at how healthy and shiny it is after all it has been through. Amazing.
You did a fantastic job I’m a hairdresser and you took your time and did it in steps and that’s what it takes. Once again great job you look beautiful.
I'm so glad you went back to Silver Grey!! This is the right color for you!❤❤❤
I am 47 and I grew my gray out in 2020. I absolutely LOVE it.
You look fantastic with silver locks
I’m tired of dying and bleaching my hair but can’t stand waiting the years it takes to grow out. I think I will try this method as I’m pretty good at dying my hair myself. 👍❤️
First of all it looks beautiful but I have never seen anyone do so much to their hair and not end up bald lol. Even after you fried it before you took a chance again. Just be careful because there will come a day when your hair will become so weak it wont be able to handle it anymore and it will start to fall out. Im talking from experience and luckily mine all grew back and is healthy again. You do look fantastic though 😀
You are so lucky to have thick beautiful hair my friend! I lost half my hair 6 years ago and nothing have helped me get it back😞 I did not have thick hair before, so half my hair gone is very noticeable!
I have faded red permanent color that I want gone. Currently have about 3" gray roots. I'm going to get it gone in about 2 weeks. Yours turned out gorgeous!
Thank you! Good luck on your hair journey. XO
You did a remarkable job. I went gray cold turkey during the pandemic and love my hair. I was never gifted when it comes to coloring my hair but I was glued when watching this video. You're right; this is not for the first timer in the coloring department.
Yeah me too, I was to scared to try Lisa method.
Beautiful! Complimentary with your complexion!❤
I’ve been following you for years Lisa. You always look stunning. You make silver sexy! Thanks for teaching us it’s ok to be our authentic selves! I turn 50 in July. You make 50s look like 20s💕
You did an amazing job! I'm a hairstylist too I would probably leave the natural underneath! Alot of times when people go on the journey I recommend growing out the bottom first that way when your roots come in so can see the similar tone shine though the length closer to the bottom ! If the warm band bugs you when it grow out deal with it then . I would personally just do some highlight on the bottom hair line to break it up when it gets to that point. Doing the roots back there there's chance over over lapping and the silver toner might act weird with bleach too . Keep your heat tools down and try to enjoy it 😊 your doing a great job!
I have watched a lot of videos on transitioning to gray. Your video is the first to watch it from beginning to end. You explain everything so well and you say it like to is and you don’t try to hide anything! I love the color that you have, very pretty!
Have you ever tried Overtone extreme silver color conditioner? That may be something you could try on the bottom half so you won't have to bleach to the root. They also have 2 other silver shades that may work on top or all over for now.. either way, you look beautiful !
Thank you Brandy! Yes I actually just purchased three different silver colors from overtone and I am going to experiment. XO
Absolutely stunning. I, too, went gray - I did black highlights for a while to avoid that demarcation line.
Thank you! And congrats on your gray hair transition! XO
Great outcome. I agree. Bleach the back to root and tone and then grow roots all together. Looks awesome! ❤
I bleached my hair to start my journey into transitioning to my natural grey. I’ve spent two years now adjusting and being picky about the banding , even with my bleaching to the roots. The status now is a blend of several greys and even some blonde, which I cannot determine if it is from some of my natural blond hair just growing in with the grey. Anyway, grey is a blend. So embrace the banding and as your true Greys grow into them , it will all blend in the end. Patience 🙌 you are lovely 💕 i actually started my journey watching you for inspiration when I was so scared to just do it.
Well done 👏
I have to say im very impressed with your patience.
You have influenced me im 52 and learning more about the process from you i have been bleaching and colouring my hair for most of my life certainly learning a lot watching you.
Thank you so much for your time and sharing blessed be 💜
Don't bleach the back roots, because they will grow out darker anyway. Your natural grey is darker in the back. A better solution might be to progressively tone the under hair a darker grey, maybe with a temporary color, until it all blends in.
Maria
Your hair turned out magnificent. Thanks for showing all the steps. I would not worry about the warm band. I love how you integrated the grey and got it to where you wanted it. Now that I know you are a licensed cosmetologist I understand how you can do all of these processes on your hair. Exceptional job love it!!
You have definitely worked some magic on your hair! It looks so wonderfully healthy and strong. I say go for the bleach in the back. I think, in the end, you will be happier with a clean slate. Love it!
I have followed you for a few years. Your hair is so healthy and I know you work hard at keeping it that way. Your naturally gray hair has been my personal favorite out of all of your different looks. All very beautiful but the gray is perfection!
Finally!!! I hadn’t found a video like this and I’ve been looking for YEARS
Great job! Since your hair is quite peppery, pull all your hair through a cap, and dye the pulled out part black. You will be so much closer to your natural color, the demarcation line won't be nearly as noticeable, and when your natural hair starts coming in it'll look nearly identical. Right now you're more silver. You need pepper. Plus the black dye won't bleach your hair and you'll be able to keep your hair in this gorgeous healthy thickness you've been able to maintain. And you won't have to mess with it at all beyond trimmings. Xoxo!
hairstylist here
oh that's a great idea!
It looks so good, I always loved you better with grey hair. You inspired me to grow mine out.
Thank you very much! And congrats on your silver crown. XO
I think the band underneath looks fine - I like the contrast. You did an amazing job - the end result looks amazing! Can't wait to see how it looks over the next little while. 😊💕
Hair is SO SCIENCE-y. So many things can go wrong that those of us with no hair education can’t understand! I’m glad you mentioned that maybe this isn’t for everyone to try at home.
Looks beautiful, by the way. Look forward to seeing how it blends as it grows.
Having gone through the grow out of my natural silver, I would not bleach to the root. One solution for the under part band, you could do some small highlights for just that section to break the line, tone and you wont’t see it anymore. I left my grey root grow for 7 months, than did highlights , usine a cap, from crown to ears only and tone silver to remove to black stark line between my silvers and my old black hair. You could do the same thing but for the 1st section with you natural roots. It worked great for me. (My profile pic is before my highlights). Also used same bleach as you and did it myself. No one wanted to highlight in my black hair ;-)! Congrats on your decision!! You look great!
This is amazing. I’m so happy to find a video of someone who has done all the things to their hair as I have 😂 You do a great job of explaining what you did, why you took the steps you did, etc. It’s exactly what I was looking for. Great job! You look stunning! ❤
Oh my goodness!! Your hair looks so beautiful!! I watched the whole process. I was born I "68" and am "55" now. I'm going through the hair color thing now. I'm gonna do what you did!! Thank you!!😊❤
Oh my! Lisa you are so courageous to do that to your own hair! You are a gutsy woman! I always loved you in your gray hair best. You wear it so well. I think it would be best to leave your hair has is rather then bleaching it to the roots. Let it grow out naturally we can hardly see the underneath part. Your a beautiful lady. Greetings from Montreal
You looked great in every color. I could never be this brave to color my hair all these colors. Mine is way too fine to do all this. You must really have strong hair.
Gorgeous! And you saved $1500 by not going to Jack Martin!! I did mine cold turkey. It took 2 years and 3 months. Personally, I would just let your hair be. As your hair grows, that line between the warm and the silver will start to diffuse and take on an ombre look because each hair grows at different rates. I was shocked by how many people loved that look! Some telling me that I should keep it that way. I taught myself to french braid off of youtube videos, wore headbands, hats, etc to get me through the toughest months. The french braid was awesome because you had alternating colors aa it crossed over. I got tons of compliments on it. At the very least, I think it would be worth trying leaving it for a while before recommitting to starting over. That is a LOT of progress to give up!
Wow Lisa! I remember when you originally posted the video of your hair breakage because of the bleach a few years ago. The results this time around were absolutely amazing.
Thank you Mary! Yes that was a total bummer last time and I was so grateful that I learned from it and was able to successfully transition again with healthy hair. XO
Yes I remember that too! Excellent job she did with this color. Looks BEST on her❤❤❤
Looks amazing! The way I get semi permanent color out of my hair I mix baking soda/sodium bicarbonate with dawn dish soap, no peroxide or bleach need it works amazing and not harsh on the hair. Believe it or not.
My vote is to leave the back as it is. You really won't see it when you wear your hair up or down. Just keep playing with the toners till you find what you love. Also, if you end up bleaching the banded part up to your roots in the back as the grey grows out you will still get a demarcation lone. Your nape color looks good so really all. you will see is the front and back when the hair is up. Looks great!
Thank you for your suggestion. XO
I have naturally gray hair now and my underneath is still naturally dark. It's the last to go silver with many people. I don't think hers would look all that different.
Before I answer I just have to say, that Grey is so gorgeous, and on you it's stunning. Right, yes I think I would blend the line out, then the overall look will obviously be faultless, and you will also have a better grow out everywhere of your own Natural Grey. 🥰🇬🇧
I think it turned out so beautiful. The band of warmth is hardly noticeable.
Great job!! Hair Buddah will be prood of you😊. I wouldn’t bleach again. I think some lowlight through all of your hair would look nice, and also would blend more with the new growth, because your greys are not that light grey. And it hides some of the bands. But really nice !
Hi Lisa, super colour. Love watching your commitment to the process. I went no dye growout over lockdown & then some lighter blending colour on ends.I also had red based dye, which really stains hair the longest. Then decided to have the chop, which I regretted. But was effective. So my hair has grown back. Have a couple of faint pink foils for fun highlights, but my grey pattern is there. It's a Champagne Grey, which has a natural chestnut silver. I use a purple shampoo that gives it an ash cool tone. I would suggest to leave your back where it is. No one sees it. Really. Just let your mind accept what you see. That's your next journey. But whatever you choose will be the right thing for you.
omg you did such a brave diy on your hair. And it looks absolutely beautiful! I'm loving how strong and healthy your hair is after all that processing. Amazing job Lisa.
You got guts girl!! I would never attempt this on my own but kuddos to you... it turned out BEAUTIFUL
I colored my hair all my life using a brunette color but because I had a lot of red in my hair it washed out to a somewhat brassy red. Then as my hair started to go grey, I dyed my hair blonde. I would only retouch the roots from time to time. I decided to give myself a buzz cut two years ago instead of letting my grey grow out and now I have a natural salt and pepper head of hair. However, I have a lot of real white grey around my face and I still would like to touch that up but I find a lot of the grey dyes have a blue tinge. How did you get around that?? I love the end result of you herculean effort and it looks just lovely on you. Just think how healthy your hair will be now that you no longer have to dye it to cover your grey roots.
lovely adorable... tip: you can use 5% even less peroxide in order to tone the hair, cause we are just putting color... that prevents your hair of overprocessing
Looks great Lisa and what ever you decide to do with bleaching roots to get rid of warm band will be beautiful !
Wish you luck and thanks for the video and I hope you are feeling more settled with your move from Florida!💜
Thank you very much. XO
25:27 OMG. SO BEAUTIFUL THIS COLOR! Wow!! Best color I've seen on you yet!👌👏👏👏👏👏👏 Definitely do the underneath if you will be wearing the upper ponytail. Other than that, it looks absolutely GORGEOUS. Love this grey and Especially the lightest grey!!
I LOVE IT!! I'm happy you finally went gray! 😊 Looks beautiful
I Gray/silver transitioned my grey hair by hairdresser 3 months ago and I love it!! Here in Australia it only cost me $200. My hair looks awesome, hated the 7 months growing out period but couldn't wait til the chemical transition. I use Pulp Riot rapid toners Violet/Silver/Moonstone/Icy to leave it a beautiful silvery moon tone.......Would never look back and would do it again!! You have done a magnificent job Lisa~just amazing xxx
So pretty! Girl I was with you with the loss of hair from the double bleach. Your IG revealed the change. You are definitely the professional!!
Thank you Valerie! Just very patient and determined. XO
If it were me I would bleach totally and start anew. I would love if you would show me your best products for my hair I have curly hair and it's purple I did permanent color so I would like to get get rid of it and start new like you did💜
Very nice job. I did a similar process a couple weeks ago before I found this video and have had a hell of a time blending my more white hair natural growth into the toned hair - got all kinds of color, waiting to do some hair repair, washing toner and trying again because it looks so crazy. I think you had great results so I say leave it alone and don’t mess up what you’ve done so far trying to perfect it. I like the depth, the toner will fade so you can do it again and putting in some low lights to the ends would blend it in. No one will be looking at that portion of your hair. I think as you grow out the top you’ll have an easier time with a head start on the bottom.
Did you do developer for both t18 AND 050 or just t18 and used 050 as additive? Did you use the whole bottle of 050? I need details you look stunning !!!!
It's gorgeous! You look amazing in every color. You did a great job!!❤
Thank you so much! It's amazing how free I feel when my hair is gray. XO
As a stylist for 28 yrs you did a great job not most at home can pull this off ❤❤❤
I’m doing the first step myself as I type. I mixed equal amounts of the ingredients, and the mix turned out very runny. I added more baking soda to achieve the consistency as the one Lisa shows. Can’t wait till the time is up to rinse and see the results! Oh! There’s the timer! Ta taaaa!
Love the new intro! ❤ Been a fan of yours for years since the hair disaster lol. Love your energy love your vids. You have an amazing ASMR voice ❤I had a different account when I first starting following you but when i got my new phone you were one of the first I started following again. Again, love your energy you are an incredible inspiration ❤️
Thank you so very much! It means so much that you are still with me after all these years. XO
Lisa! Love you girl this is the first comment I've ever left and I'm a huge RUclips fan. I follow so many people and I've always been scared maybe embarrassed to leave a comment. Thank you for responding this means so much I absolutely love your content!
I’m trying to stop dying my hair as well. I have less than 25% grey in my dark hair and I have to decide how to blend it in better to my reddish brown old color. I was thinking of doing some toner on the reddish brown to get the orange down so it blends a little more with my root. I love watching RUclipsrs do their hair. Gives me a little courage when needed. 😊
You are so incredibly talented with colouring, your hair looks beautiful, the silver is just so stunning on you.🎉🎉🎉❤
Finally I have seen so many videos on how to remove purple color from hair that turned into a permanent purple instead of temporary due to me changing my hair color so much I found the right process and product to use being a former stylist myself I knew this was going to be a really big project with possibly destroying my hair I’m attempting this tomorrow so thank you I’ll let u know how it goes
You are a perfectionist so I think no matter what others tell you I think you will have to do what you feel will make you feel the best.
I am a hairstylist versed in color & I say BRAVO fantastic. You did an amazing job & the health of your hair looks amazing.
If you have to bleach to get the band out you could also just do a weave highlight and bleach & tone so you are not totally bleaching to the root.
Regardless spectacular job❣️you look so amazing …..younger than when you would dye it blonde❣️be blessed. Health,Happiness & Peace❣️
WOW!!!. AMAZING!!!. You really did great work on your hair and what i loved most is the step by step method you showed on the how to go about it along with the explanations. Absolute crucial information so not to ruin the hair. I loved also that you literally showed us what' products to have and use and importantly, how to ensure the hair is nurtured throughout to keep it strong so not to damage the hair whilst being bleached. I really enjoyed your video actually. You were so thorough!. AND it just so happens that silver colour is the same exact colour i would love in my hair because my natural greys are also beginning to come through as well. Currently, i have a lot of light browns and mixed light blondes but the hairdressers tell me that they can't go any lighter but after watching your video, perhaps i could try this. THANKQ SO MUCH FOR THIS I REALLY FEEL THIS WILL HELP MANY LIKE ME WHO ARE GOING GREY NATURALLY BUT WHO WANT TO GET THIS LOOK AS WELL!
Lady your hair is amazingly beautiful. Especially now in silver. Thanks for sharing. I have been silver since 2017 and have never regretted my desire to be real. Your hair is so luscious and copious that all anybody can feel for you is envy. I love what you shared.
The silver hair is STUNNING on you. So classy. Never change from that it's so beautiful. 27:03
Love it! I would leave the back..the hair grows fast and that will eventually grow out and get trimmed..
Great job Lisa!! I would just have a Hairstylist foil and weave those few pieces in the back. Or if you can do it. And then just tone it! I think it would blend it perfect!😘
WOW! You did a fantastic job!!! I finally grew my hair to natural gray. It's salt and pepper and I really don't like it. I wasn't sure if putting bleach on gray hair was possible. Still unsure if I'm brave enough to do what you did, but I'm sure thinking about it. You look beautiful!
OMG it’s back!!!! You look fantastic ❤ great job Lisa!!!
Thank you very much. XO
Your hair looks beautiful! I agree bleach that section to the root. Your hairstyles often include updos or partial
I love this color on you!! It actually makes you look at least 10+ years younger!, especially compared to the purple!! You have always been beautiful and I love your videos!!
Why am I seeing this now? Oh my gosh I love it! Your step by step video is the best and what I've been looking for. I too did hair in the 80's but my career took me elsewhere. I've always been fascinated with hair and the many things one can do with it. At times I regret not sticking with doing hair especially with the latest fabulous techniques in which you walked me through on this video. Thank you and btw, I subscribed 😊
Glad to see you back with silver hair! It is so VERY flattering on you.
There are just so many things that you did right here, that I see so many other people doing wrong. Everything from wearing the plastic “cape” and gloves, to all the steps, sectioning, and K18 conditioning in between, a very meticulous and intelligent approach to achieving a new color that blends in your natural regrowth. This was a very difficult color change, but you really aced it, the result is gorgeous. Don’t worry too much about the line because you can work the lighter silver highlights thorough it as it grows in and blend away the line. And for the warm spots, you can just dab them with toner on a brush a few times, using a little extra violet in the toner, and eventually they will blend in. The only other option is bleaching, but maybe someone should do it for you, it’s so hard to see the back of your own head perfectly.
I’m completely grey too… but did it the natural way!! It’s all natural for me and I love the natural highlights!!! You look great grey!!!
LOVE my k-18 leave in mask too! My sister-in-law has had her own salon for decades and she maintains my platinum blonde and had recommended and sold it to me. Definitely great stuff, I need to see what other products they may have
Girl, after your last hair bleaching fiasco, I gotta give you kudos for having the fortitude to try it again. And the results are stunning.
My opinion as a hairstylist is if you’re unhappy with the line add a few lowlights close to your natural in the back and save your from bleaching for several months. It will grow out nicely. 😊
K18 say to rub k18 into your palms till it goes completely white i find if you to this the k18 spreads easily and goes further im loving your new hair colour ❤
