I grew up a Virginia Tech fan, so I knew Frank Beamer's kid would turn out as a great coach! I think another eight or nine-win season might be in reach if Rattler's healthy and consistent. South Carolina's D is getting a lot better too
Ohio state fan here. Matt under Jim Harbaugh Michigan is 2-5. The reason Michigan fans respect or are scared of Ohio state is because they’re just now getting over the hump. Yes Michigan has won the last two games but that doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t be scared.
For much of the season last year Rattler and the offense were held back by the OC Satterfield. After the UF game Beamer forced him to switch up and condense the playbook (went from like 30 different packages to 7) and the playcalling was done by committee, that immediately let Rattler play more free and we saw what happened. Also the defense almost has to improve people dont realize how many true freshman and sophomores were on that field. Nobody knows what to expect from this team.
Exactly it was satterfield and his bs and even my cousin said that was playing they would run plays that they haven't practiced for weeks on top of not using some of his best players but one thing u couldn't blame him for is that o-line

Carolina is one of six or seven SEC teams who nornally could explode to double-digit wins except they're going to bump into each other. It's going to make the season very interesting.

Matt, did know the team that Urban Meyer feared the most while coaching at Ohio State? It wasn't Michigan, it was going on the road and playing Penn State in a White Out game. But generally speaking, I don't think it's fear, but more so about respect and not just for the opposing teams abilities, but also the atmosphere in the stadium that home field advantage gives a team.

What held back South Carolina last year was the offensive coordinator. He was “fired”. Marcus Satterfield and Shane Beamer are friends and to save that, he let it go on which ultimately led him to get the Nebraska job for Matt rhule. Feel bad for the huskers. He’s terrible. Dowell loggains will be a massive upgrade. See if they can control games on the ground. As much as I like to see South Carolina hang 60 on Tennessee, it would have been nicer to beat them into the ground on the ground and control the LOS.
As a SC fan, we will take being 8-4(because of the schedule) and being a respectable, competitive team because of the schedule. I’m not worried about Georgia they most likely running the SEC but Mizzou is our worst nightmare. Mizzou has our number since they joined the SEC.

Suffice it to say they have not fared well against them this millennium, especially in their last meeting when Oregon blew them out in Ann Arbor and whether you like it or not Oregon is gonna be in playoff contention again this year so yeah, that fear is warranted
I don't think he really pays attention to Oregon games, and he judges Bo from his time in Auburn w/that shit O-line. Oregon at GA was their first game as a team, terrible. After, they got progressively better, and the Spring Game, the D looked like an entire different team. Bo is lethal on his feet, 2nd in the FBS for completions, one of the best O-lines in the FBS, RB's don't get tackled on the first attempt, good receivers, etc. Oregon definitely has what it takes to make the playoffs

Oregon had the best O line, and Bo Nix was 2nd in the FBS for completions, and I can't think of a QB more lethal on their feet than him. The #2 RB broke Oregon's YPC record since 2011 LaMichael James. I get the feeling you don't pay attention to Oregon Games or the Spring Game I know Oregon during their first game as a team was terrible, but they really turned things around and progressively got better the further it went in the season
