Just when I think the Thruxton couldn't get any more beautiful, they add that fairing and it's jaw dropping.

It's beyond being a bike...it's a rolling piece of Art. Sure, there is better suspension, more powerful engines but it's a nostalgic looks with modern technology and that's what makes it a "one of a kind" head turner. Love Triumph Qjuality.

Triumph have certainly got their styling and colour schemes together , the fit and finish now looks second to non .

If one was to purchase a Bonneville , this is the only one. Having owned a 2001, 2006, 2013 Bonneville and an 06 Scrambler I see no reason to compromise with the T120 ( 20bhp more than the previous Bonny) and especially the Street Twin. Unless it is a first big bike I see no point as with the Thruxton even though it is a bit dearer you would not be wanting for years, perhaps being satisfied for decades. Triumph have come through once again.

They do look good my mate has one. He's about to sell it only after 9 months due to loads of silly thing that He's biggest point is the fuel tank 100 ish to a tank when in traffic and very warm will cut out and stall. Brake lights will some times stop working, if he get caught in the rain the bike plays up and misfires.... They don't tell you this in these vids

Nice but I think the R Nine T Racer looks better. It's got cheaper components than the thruxton but then it's a few thousand cheaper and with 110hp and the racing fairing comes standard.

Lol. The amount of money people will pay for nostalgia marketing on a British bike made in Thailand!

A most uninspiring, stated, review and less so of the linked write-up, Sad. You all should maybe switch to the food channel.

This is just a British guy trying to sell a British bike. Cough cough German. Not a review. You forgot to mention the bikes weight. i.e. 235kg And you forgot to thank Thailand for building the bike.

It's a review, though clearly not intended to be a complete one. For that he actually refers those interested to a more comprehensive review on line.
Bloor Holdings is an English company, not German. Bloor was born in England IIRC. He's as German as I am.
The Thruxton R weighs 202 kg dry according to the literature, though the U.S. version weight is given as 448 pounds, or just proud of 203 kg.. Certainly the fairing and fluids do not add 32-33 kilos. You are incorrect by a meaningful amount.
Thailand certainly builds many components and assembles some bikes. It's not uncommon for such manufacturing paradigms to exist. Nobody expects China to be thanked when iphones or Dell computers are reviewed.
Perhaps if you ever can afford to remove that dismissive chip off your shoulder and ride one for a week or so, you'll find yourself more concerned with what a great bike it really is to spend some time on, and what a non-productive waste your dismissive (and partially incorrect) snark is.

German Siegfried Bettmann, born in 1863, started Triumph in 1884.

That's the kind of logic that would lead one to conclude that Sikorsky
is a Ukrainian company, that Chevrolet autos are Swiss, or that Budweiser is a Czech beer.
