For me, knitting is a vital skill in a world on fire because it equips us to reuse and recycle. As resources grow scarcer, the ability to mend, repurpose, and create clothing from sustainable or reclaimed fibres will be essential. It's practical, ethical, and a quiet rebellion against waste. You make an important contribution to that because you show and inspire love for the craft and you build community. Because of you, I’m knitting off a giant cone of rustic yarn from Oxfam that might otherwise have ended in landfill. Love ya!
I learned to crochet and then knit during Covid. Got so enthralled, I opened a yarn store! Your videos have and continue to be inspiration and enjoyment for me. Thanks for doing what you do!

I've been making a lot more stuff, not just knitting but some spinning, basket weaving, baking, and painting as the world has got a bit darker. It brings me a lot of joy and some stability, plus if I gift it then that person gets the joy of using and wearing it.
My partner and I went to my mother-in-law's for Christmas and we brought our dog and one of our cats. Normally we would have left the cat home but he gets so anxious when sitters come, so we tried out bringing him with us this year and it went really well. He was very brave and enjoyed being an only kitty for a while.

Lovely video as always Katt! I really appreciate the gentle, thoughtful, kind, creative space you've brought to life with your videos. I work from home a lot and while this is a blessing most days (I get very drained by commuting, in-office interaction etc., so working remotely makes it a lot easier to manage my energy levels), it's sometimes a bit too quiet in my little home office. I like to put your videos on in the background for a bit of company, and it always lifts my spirits to see the beautiful projects you're working on.

On a different note, I noticed that this and your last video have weird video titles in German. This one is called "Abonnieren" for me, which means "subscribe". When I switch my RUclips to English I see the normal title. The last video title translates to "deception skill". I haven't seen this translation error anywhere else, do you maybe know what happened there? Thought I'd ask!
